| Wait... it seems like its next to a residential area. Is it? Could people just walk across from their homes and be at the entrance? What's the deal? |

Wouldn't that be chaotic? I mean I know that the Clippers has less fans that the Lakers but is it wise to build a practice facility next to a neighborhood where fans could bother them during practice sessions?
Unless, some of the Clipper players live blocks from there, I don't think that its such a very good idea.
Oh yeah, WELCOME, I didn't notice you were new here. |

im sure they'll have some form of security in place so that random people don't just walk on in.
it does look very nice. Perfect timing. New practice facility during a time of change. |

Oh yeah, WELCOME, I didn't notice you were new here.
Well, from what I remember, Cat Mobley lives in Playa Vista.. remember.. when his house got robbed back in 05-06 ?? I can't remember exactly what year, but all the local news said that his house was broken into in Playa Vista..
I don't know of any other or remember any other Clippers living close by.. but I've heard that Phil Jackson lives close by, (Marina del Rey).

Whats the address?
Hhmm.. I dunno the address.. but I can give you the cross streets..
On Centinela between Bluff Creek Dr and Mesmer Ave..
I don't think there is actual address yet.. but here is the best i can do on yahoo maps..
try to input this adddy.. It should be a green patch of dirt on the hybird maps.
6999 Centinela , CA, United States
And to all.. I've made a mistake.. it should be Playa del Rey.. I think.. hell it's either Playa del Rey or Playa Vista.. it's so damn close together !!! |

The facility looks very nice, I drive past it several times a week. It's right by the 405 freeway; Number2 hit the nail as far as location. I think the city is technically Playa Vista (that patch of new apartments right on Jefferson, between Lincoln and Sepulveda. They are all luxury apts and town homes so it's a pretty upscale area). I was looking for a place a month ago and was thinking Playa Vista, until I found out a single bedroom is nearly 2 grand, and that's just the rent alone.
Several of the players live nearby. I'm excited there will be a Clipper building. I work during the day in El Segundo, literally across the street from where the Lakers practice (Toyota Sports Center on Nash St.). and am tired of seeing Laker players at the restaurants lol jk. Where are the Clips players!?! They still practice at the Spectrum Club off Rosecran; it's borderline Manhattan Beach/El Segundo city-wise. |

yeah.. I drive by there every day.. you get a nice view of the Clipper logo when traveling from the 90 east to the 405 south ramp.. look to the right, right before you pass the albertsons.
thehonoraryfan, hahahha... tell me about it.. it's damn expensive on the westside.. my uncle is renting out his condo for $2200 a month in Marina del Rey.. If interested.. hit me up.. But I guess you can go cheaper if you look in Culver City, or how about Westchester?... Well, if you haven't found a place, I can check with the uncle if the place is still open.. from what I remember, it's a 2 bedroom condo with a garage.
Anyhow, hit me up if you live on the westside.. maybe we can carpool to the games or grab some coffee or go to Brenan's on THU nite for drinks and watch turtle racing and chitchat Clippers talk.. I live in the Marina btw. Hell, I'll be there this THU for drinks.. |

If you are a season ticket holder and you cannot go, please let me know. I'd love to see the facilty. Thanks!!!

I was passing the Clippers' Facility today, and they finally got the "LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS" name on the building.. Also, looks like they are trying hard to open it at the end of this month... They hope they can reschedule the open house by the start of the season.
I'll see if I can post some newer pictures. |

| I just spoke with my ticket rep and they will be opening the Training Facility on Thursday. He stated that they are still planning on doing the tours and expects that to begin shortly after everyone is moved into the facility. |

Okay fellas !! For those of you that haven't been to the practice facility yet.. here are some pictures that I took..
All Clickable thumnails..
I will try to explain the pictures;
When you 1st enter the facility, you will be greeted by the security officer.
This is the workout area with all the gym equipment.
This is where the players get treatment.. like getting taped up and such.
This is the shower room.. This is crazy.. cuz the shower heads are 9 feet up!!
Spas and the underwater treadmill that cost 1/4 million bucks !!

Locker room looks great !! I love the the carpet and logo in the center of the room..
In the gym is 2 full size courts.. And they even installed lights that produce the exact same brightness at staples center.. (identical !!)
This is the theater room.. sound proof, plush seats with Clippers logo.
Now to the 2nd floor...
Conference room and draft central.
Shots from the balcony into the gym.
area where all of the TV feeds come in.. pros and college games. all for scouting.
Kitchen area.
Well, I hope you enjoyed all my pictures... This place is GREAT !!! |

| Wow...this is mighty damn impressive. I gotta give the Donald and the Clippers their props, it looks like it was $50 million well spent. With the real estate on the Westside being pretty pricey, especially pretty close to the marina and the beach, I know it didn't come cheap. |

| The Clippers' website finally got around to post pictures of the practice facility. Since I can't post the direct link (because I don't qualify with enough posts)...the direct link is currently on the front page of the website. |
