| Yeah I really like Ty Lawson and I think his stock has been slowly going up. He's a small PG listed at 6'0" but could be even smaller as these guy seem to also play up their height lol. Still doesn't stop Augustin from being a legit PG. He'd be nice to have come off the bench. Maybe the suns will pick him up. |

| Blake Griffin is amazing- if we get lucky he'd be the obvious #1 choice. I'm starting to think that if miss out on #1 but are lucky enough to draft #2, Ricky Rubio sure looks tempting at that position. Under Dunleavy's system, a guy like Rubio should do much better than Baron. Rubio isn't shoot first, can make plays at will, and is a great defender. He sounds like a shorter (and healthy) Shaun Livingston, and with a ton of experience too. James Harden looks really good too. So does Thabeet if we do trade Kaman. |

| ^^I must say that Earl Clark looks good too as a play-maker at the forward position. |

| ^^^Yeah I'd love to pick up a mid-first round pick and get him to add to the team. He looks like he'd compliment our young core well. |

On a diff Clippers forum wants to trade the top pick if we get it to pass on Griffin.
Not only this but he wants to trade Camby, Kaman or Zbo along with Baron Davis.
This would leave us without Griffin who would fill in the role of one of these guys that we would trade, but also without a starting PG. I also believe he doesnt want to draft Rubio either.
Either this guy is a genius, or is a complete fool.
Trading away one of the big men would ensure Griffin as our top pick and priority, then trading away Baron would make Rubio a #2 priority if we moved the top pick for a lower pick. I just cant understand the logic behind any of this. |

People on this forum and others are simply saying Rubio is the biggest need we have for anyone in the draft or any position. Its ridiculous. So I'll come back and be retarded as well to show some arguments why we dont need him.
Its like if we dont get Rubio Clipperland is going to cry every night. We dont need a PG plain and simple. This would be like what the Lions have done in the drafts recently, draft talent over need which is something you really dont need to be doing, however if its the #1 pick in the draft and the guy is cant miss, obviously you take that player and trade assets you have in that position for other assets. |

i dont think that's such a bad idea. it only sounds bad because he doesnt mention who we'd trade for. if we got great pieces, i dont see why we wouldnt trade away our "stars".
we give: baron, camby, draft pick
we get: calderon, bosh, draft pick
would you do that?
calderon
gordon
thornton
bosh/randolph (essentially trading randolph for depth)
kaman
actually works for both teams (check out the run/gun nucleus toronto gets - and gets something for bosh before he leaves)
baron
parker
marion
griffin?
bargnani
hell yeah. |

| that trade proposed with the Raptors is tempting. It would have to require an understanding that Bosh ink an extension and that he doesn't go Elton Brand on us. Drafting Griffin and trading Kaman for a solid veteran swingman I think is more realistic, but we can all dream. |
