NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! not only are they flip saunders, they r taking cassel. ugh. Watch us stick with dumbleavy, draft brandon jennings (an uptempo pg) and have him complain about not being able to run. |

That really wouldn't surprise me. I think we have just missed out on one of the best coaching staff replacements for Dunleavy. What will it take for Sterling to eat the rest of Dunleavy's contract and do the right thing for the organization? |

A more descriptive title thread would be helpful.
It would have been nice to have Cassell back in some coaching capacity. But it's good for him to get a little experience as assistant coach before taking over the reins. At the very least, Cassell will have some experience under his belt when Dunleavy's contract eventually runs out.. |

They are just another organization who knows what they are doing.
Like all other NBA teams, it takes an avg of 2-3 seasons to resurrect themselves and become a competitior once again.
In regards to this franchise, all the fans seem to get it, and know what needs to be done, why can't the owner see that?
Will we still be stuck on stupid next year? |

LOL.
Okay, clam down. He did talk Cassell into playing for the team, and he did talk the owner into spending money. As long as he doesn't talk him into another contract extension, we should be fine. |

Well, hypothetically, assuming Dunleavy had the billions to operate the team, wouldn't that actually be a win/win situation?
As owner, he wouldn't be allowed to coach his own team (I don't think the league would allow it), so he'd have to hire someone else. On the other hand, he knows basketball and is competitive to a fault, which is ideal for an owner (just like Mark Cuban). As long as he doesn't hire back the previous GM, the team would probably be in good shape. |

| (hypothetically) Their no way at this point sterling would sell, he is in the top 5 in profit making in the nba, unlike most owners he is actually making money. i was really hoping that the clipps would hire flip. i think he would be perfect fit with the roster the clipps have. too bad were stuck with dunleavy ( may god help us). Step down Dunleavy. |

| Definetelly my preference for next year was a man like Saunders who was IMO one of the best free coaches out there...This coach situation is becoming a nightmare |

It really sucks having a coach you dont want and have to be stuck sitting around as other teams who actually fired their coach are filling their positions.
I wish there was something that could be done, but until something happens with Dunleavy, we are stuck with him and arent going to have the chance to sign someone else. |
