| Doesn't the gm and assistants decide on who to invite to summer league? I always thought it worked by invite. Christmas is an intriguing player to have IMHO. I wanna see what he can do. |

The last few years we've had at least one game televised. I'd imagine that this year we'd get at least two. I'm pretty sure that all games are online though. |

| We'll need a couple of warm bodies to fill out the roster (13th and 14th guys sitting on the inactive list). So summer invitees are perfect for that. Xmas may the right kind of guy for that situation. |

I think he is going to play for the sixers summer league team but in Orlando, not the vegas summer league. Or yeah, the deal with the 76ers fell through. But I like this guy as a pickup to give us a little depth at the SG spot if he plays well and wants to sign with us. |

I just checked the Sixers website and Christmas is still on the Summer League roster. I guess since he is a free agent (was not drafted) he can go wherever he wants. |

if Kim Hughes goes with the 5 best players, Christmas will be starting. We'd have a 3 guard lineup which is perfect for summer league. I want him to do really well and get an invite to training camp. |

Carner Medley has been playing in ACB last years...He's a decent player but not a NBA player.
Last year playing in Sevilla he averaged 11 points and 8 rebounds in 25 minutes.
By the way, former Clipper Boniface Ndong is about to play for F.C.Barcelona. He has improved a lot playing here and now he's one of the best center in Europe. Watch out!

I saw Christmas play a lot in college and I was surprised when he wasn't drafted... Depending on what we do with Ricky, he could make this team, I think because our backups behind Gordon are still very suspect. Both Ricky and Q have been unreliable over the last few years... It doesn't look like Jones will be back... Christmas has good size and good potential to keep as a 13th man, or better.
But I guess we'll see this summer. |

Not to be a downer here, but Christmas isn't what I'd call a shooter. He only shot 41.4% from the field last year and 35.2% from downtown. I'm not saying the kid can't play, but if you want to talk shooters, McAlarney is the guy who's got the best stroke of the unsigned/undrafted guys.
Christmas's best year shooting was 2 years ago, the 2006-2007 season, where he shot 46.6% from the field and 40% from behind the arch. McAlarney shot 40.5% FG last season and 42.3% from down town.
McAlarney Christmas
Fresh: 43.0% (93 attempts) 25.0% (80 Attempts)
Soph: 46.4% (56 attempts) 40.0% (220 Attempts)
Junior: 44.1% (245 attempts) 36.9% (282 Attempts)
Senior: 42.3% (293 attempts) 35.2% (302 Attempts)
To me, McAlarney is in the exact mold of Novak who was 50.5%, 43%, 46.1%, 46.7% for his career at Marquette. I also think he fits into the Novak mold as I think we can all agree that Novak doesn't have the body size for the physicality of the game. |

| First off... What is up with you guys wanting to drop Fred Jones????? He freakin came in mid season and put in a few huge games and clutch 4th quarter shots. He's an amazing guy coming off the bench and didn't cause any drama or complain as he's a good locker room guy. I don't get why you guys would drop a young NBA vet for a possibly decent rookie ; x. Fred Jones definitely should be on this team next year. Btw what happened to Mardy Collins? Is he still with us? If so he should be on the summer league roster. |

| Marty Collins had that one good game against the Celtics when he straped Pierce up but IMO Pierce is overrated anyway. Fred Jones was a better asset to the team than Collins besides we can go and get an old player that plays like an old player. He's fairly young and plays like an old player. |

Some of the games will be televised and I think all of them will be streaming on NBA.com.
Korolev is on the Knicks and Daniel Ewing is on the Griz. Should be a fun summer. |

I think some of the summer league games were streamed online last year on NBA.com, but I could be wrong. I remember watching 1 or 2 of our summer league games last year online, not sure which site it was though. |
