According to a report from El Periodico, Ricky Rubio has decided not to come over to the United States to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves and will remain with DKV Joventut for the next two seasons.

Bummer for Minnesota. So they pretty much drafted him for nothing or do they have rights to him if he decides to come back? |

| minnesota still holds the rights to him. the only way he can re-enter the draft is if he takes a year off from basketball. |

| So Minny apparently isnt interested in trading him either? I thought for sure they would try to get a star or good player for Rubio. Maybe Rubio decided to go back before they had a real chance at dealing him somewhere. |

Yeah figured they would of tried to trade him as well. I mean he was the 5th pick of the draft. You'd think the team would try to get a trade going (plenty of teams were interested in him) knowing he was likely to walk away. Now they have nothing to show for their 5th pick (at least for another 2 years) |

that kid just took a huge *expletive* on the entire state of Minnesota.
I'm so glad we never landed him. |

I supose Minnessota won't be so dumb and they'll trade Rubio's rights this summer or the next one. One thing seems pretty clear: Rubio doesn't want to wear the Wolves jersey and I'm sure he won't do it. Anyways I think Rubio is making a big mistake since he's still nobody to be asking for playing where he wants... |

| I hope Minn. keeps his draft rights forever and never trades them so that Rubio never comes to the USA ever again.......what a waste of time for an unproven slow version of brevin knight |

BUST BUST BUST BUST BUST BUST BUST , Unfortunately we wont be able to see Mike Taylor break his ankles in the recent future. He probably forgot coming into the NBA to re-new his frequently used ankle insurance
As much as a hate K O ut of B ounds E , that ankle insurance advert he did when he was on the horse was legendary.
