We need the other team to adjust to us for once instead of us adjusting and reacting to them.
Other teams are adjusting to us. They double Kaman in the fourth quarter forcing him to turn the ball over or take more difficult shots. They back off Baron to limit his penetration because they know he can't shoot, and do the same with Bassy. The single cover Thornton, then rush into the paint when he drives because they know he plays with his head down and can't pass. They deny Gordon because they know he doesn't move effectively without the ball (he should watch Rip Hamilton). They put Camby on a self check because they know he's not likely to hurt them at the offensive end.
Yes, teams are adjusting to us just fine.
Sam This is the most intellegent post I've seen except mine. The key seems to be "Baron can't shoot" A Sammy style pull up jumper at 3 pt or long 2 would make them have to guard Baron. What are your solutions? |
