  1. Me and my girl are going to to opener on Halloween and want to wear our costumes, but don't want a problem. Should it be ok? Or will they have a problem with it?

  2. Taking my parents too, since they met on halloween. Whats a good inexpensive place to eat that's close to the game?? BUDGET FRIENDLY haha.

Thanks guys...

  1. We're making a sign too. Any ideas for a theme and wording???!?

  1. My little 11 year-old brother is planning to take his LMFAO robot head, I dont think there will be any problem, since it's just a small box.

  2. I've eaten in three places in L.A Live...Rosa Mexicano, Rock n fish, and ESPNZone, I personally prefer Rosa Mexicano the dishes are about 12-20 dls...Rock n fish is a little pricy and I really didn't like it.

  3. I'm working on a sign too haha

Oh yeah... the pantry is GOOD! Never had dinner there though... only breakfast.

What do you recommend?

I always get there philly cheese...but you can never go wrong with breakfast over there. Might be crowded after the game though.

Get the New York or T-Bone. You can get breakfast 24 hours. Hamsteak all the way. Super

The Carvery right next to the arena is always a good go to choice.

1) yes, costumes are welcome and there is also a costume contest that night, I guess just nothing offensive.

2) budget friendly... Yardhouse is cool, grew up in the area and never tried the Pantry.

3) there is a maximum size that is allowed for the posters/signs but not too sure right now, check out the Staples site for more info, but I know they will make you toss it if it's to big.

I'll be dressed as a blind referee. The shirts will be white and say REPRESENT across the front. I believe this is our new slogan, replacing "rise up."

Shocked But you didn't tell them where it was! THE PANTRY is located just up the street on figuroa and 7th or 9th street on the north-west corner and they have their own parking....

The Clips are having some type of Halloween costume contest. Not sure if you have to pre-sign up or not,,surf their webpage.

There are a lot of places to eat across the street but I don't think budget friendly was ever in AEGs notebook when they built LA Live.

Keep the sign smaller then a billboard (make in parts,,each carry a part,,assemble it pre-game)

Much better places to eat than the Pantry. Dinner line could be long. We either eat at the Palm, which is pricey, or at Il Mare which is REALLY good and very reasonable. If you like Italian, thats a great spot. Easy to get in. LA live is too crowded on game night. Il Mare is one block east of the Palm and is owned by the Palms former chef.

hey cleeepers, philippes is over rated in my opinion, but if you are ever out in my neck of the woods, ontario, try VINCE'S SPAGHETTI on holt blvd, just 1 block west of the mountain....

Serious... p

Pantry is iconic... It is not meant to be 5 star, must gritty and good wholesome food. One of my fav spots. Phillips's is also good.

1 & 3 you should be good to go. But for a a good place on budget I would also recommend Yard House. Depending on drinks and appetizers, comes out to $30 a head (maybe a little less; give or take). For downtown LA sit down restaurant, that is fairly cheap.

THE BEST FRENCH DIP BAR NONE! wink vince's blows away phillippe's imo, so if you are in the area, check it out, i'm sure you won't be dissappointed.

ps-they are closed on wed.'s and are open for both lunch and dinner, but have a shut down time in the afternoon, so check out their hours before you make your roadtrip, i think they have a website, here's to a good eat for you or anyone else in the inland empire area, oh, and btw, they have damn good spaghetti and meatballs also! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

But do they roast legs of lamb for their sandwiches?

I always eat one before the game and smuggle another in for halftime. It's a routine that my belly and I have gotten very comfortable with, but I'll be sure to check out Vince's next time I'm out that way.

It's gonna be a mad house down there, right? I work in the valley but live in Weho. Me and my wife are prepping for the worst traffic wise.

Maybe I'm out of the loop but just read in the OC Reg that Grant Hill is out for at least two more weeks with a bone bruise on right knee. Not to be mistaken with Lamar's bone bruise on left knee.

Lamar I'm a bit happy to hear he has an actual injury and he's not being held out just because he's a fat ass.

Looks like we'll be missing at least two of our rotation guys for opening night and the first week at least. Luckily, we are loaded and can still go 10 deep with a bench of Bled, Jamal, Barnes, Hollins, and Turiaf with Lamar possibly ready to play 10mins for that game too.

We'll be fine in general but it might be tough to beat Memphis without billups/ghill and possibly Lamar.

Hi guys,

Great info the of the possible eating places. Probably Ill go with the pantry...

Now how about sign ideas or wordings? I'm stumped haha!

You should take the memphis grizzlies logo, put a baby bonnette on the bears head and a pacifier on his mouth... Instead of making fun of a star player, why not make fun of the whole organization? True fuel for rivalry fire Smile

Also, it says, "you're all a bunch of cry babies" ... hence why they're mad

There's also the fairly-new Hooters on Figueroa, near the corner of Pico, across from the Convention Center's West Hall; it'll cost to park in their lot, so perhaps it's better to find one of those cheaper parking lots near the arena, and walk over.

Hooters has their Happy Hour specials, usually from 3-7pm every weekday, and it'll get get packed fairly quick.

Of course, there's always Denny's on 9th and Figueroa, if you like their food.

Rosa Mexicano is never packed if you don't want to deal with crowds, that is in LA LIVE.

I think the scariest monsters and goblins we are going to see on Halloween night is the Memphis Grizzlies. They will be gunning for us.

Do they still pick their noses without gloves before touching your food? They are good for a cup of coffee. Nothing more.

Repped High Quality Post

My little brother had the idea to do this to his LMFAO robot head, so I helped him and he is taking it to opening night tomorrow, what do you guys think? I just hope we have no trouble getting in the game with it.

Yeah,,I guess I should say have him wear it as you walk up and if they give you the heave ho,,go to another entrance. HEck you got 3 chances and if you have PR seats you have 5 chances.

The T-shirt has a big KIA on the back,,saw it (on website?)

  1. Costumes welcome and they have a Costume Contest on the jumbotron.

  2. I recommend the 200 section. Great views. Good pricing.

  3. A good sign would read, "Ralph Lawler will you marry me? Love, Mike Smith"
