According to this Daily News article, Shaun is getting close to be able to participate in drills:

Dunleavy and general manager Elgin Baylor said that the team will examine myriad possibilities, including a trade, with its pick.
"We have a lot of moving parts right now," Dunleavy said. "We have lot of guys who are free agents, we have guys that have been injured, there's a lot more information we need to have and we basically have another four, five weeks to make those decisions."
Power forward Elton Brand and swingman Corey Maggette have the right to opt out of the final year of their contracts July 1. The draft is June 26, so the team won't know of their decisions before making its pick.
"The common-sense portion of it is, Corey is probably going to opt out. Elton, you're probably not exactly sure of," Dunleavy said. "But if both guys were to opt out, I think both guys want to be back in LA and from an organizational standpoint, I think we want both guys there, so you just kind of go from there."
The team's most obvious need is at point guard. Sam Cassell is in Boston, Shaun Livingston is still a week or two away from contact drills after a horrific knee injury two seasons ago, and Brevin Knight and Dan Dickau are better suited to back-up roles.
"We have to look at our point guard situation very closely," Baylor said.
This draft just happens to be loaded with point guards and combo guards like ose, USC freshman O.J. Mayo and Indiana freshman Eric Gordon.
"Clearly the idea we go with is who is the best player at that time," Dunleavy said. "Overall best player is always going to override need. But if it's close, you're going to go for your need."
