I am new here and i just wanted to share my analysis on the topic of new players in a new area. Everytime I talk to a laker fan all they say is "Oh yeah we need time to gel together." While this is a problem it shouldn't be the result of losing 10 games in a row. We have just as many if not more new additions to our team and we have been playing successfully. I just think they need to look to another reason for their losing streak other than not being able to gel.

"rome wasnt built in one day" lmao at the audacity of comparing their team to one of the greatest empires of all time.

^ LOL, that's so true! I never thought about it that way, nice take..

Although I will say that using that analogy doesn't mean you're comparing yourself to them, just that "great" things (I'll use that term loosely here) take time to come together.

That's pretty funny though, especially since I like the analogy and never thought of it that way

Makes me laugh how their fans all believe that Stern and the NBA hates them. Nobody gets more favorable officiating and there's nobody the brass want to see in the finals more. They have a massive following, but also bring along huge amounts of viewers that enjoy watching them lose.

How many times have I heard Clipper fans say that our new guys need time to gel? I said it before, they have a right to say it too.

Actually their audience has massively subtracted with TWC claiming the rights! Any update on that by the way?

The reason the loss to the Clips hurt so much is because their fans can sense the changing of the gaurd in LA. They lost by 10 with a favorable crowd, favorable officiating, Kobe playing 40ish minutes but missing one key player. They know that even with Nash, if the officiating is anywhere near even and both teams at full stregth, they lose that game by 16+.

In their defense, its hard to win in Utah. May be the altitude, the officiating, I dont know. That being said, they are not just losing, they are getting spanked right now. That is what would concern me as a player or coach. Something beyond just new system/ new players is "off' right now.
