Really strong game. CP3 came out aggressive and helped set the tone. Blake didn't have a good game offensively, but he was solid on D and rebounding. DJ- great to see him keep the same focus and energy from last night- another terrific game by him. It's nice to see his teammates have more confidence in him too and throw him the ball inside. 5 out of 7 FT's, including 5 in a row! Jamal Crawford- what a great addition he has been so far. His individual offense and moves are top 10 in the NBA amongst guards, maybe even top 5. Bledsoe- another nice game. Turiaf, Hollins, and Barnes were solid as well.

44 to 31 rebounding edge- I think the guys have gotten the message to crash the boards.

LOVE seeing Portland fans and Olshey looking depressed. Nothing makes me happier, especially because they thought they had a chance.

great game. blazers had me worried but jamal was balling in the 4th and CP closed it out. Bledsoe didn't look too happy, got to find a way to get him 20+ min

Yes! Vinny did the Ali rope a dope. He let portland's starters tire out and then boom he plug cp3 to deliver the ko blow

I remember DJ saying he worked with coaches and some current and former players this summer. I know iavoroni was in there and Kenny said Lucas too. Anybody know who else? I'm thinking maybe Camby?

The one thing our fans doesn't appreciate is DJ work ethics. He work hard on his games and been on the gym the whole summer and its shows. All credit to DJ. Please I don't want to see anybody say trade DJ until i see some reasonable reasons why.

Gotta admire his dedication. A lot of big men like foyle, biendrins, Haywood, and dampier choose to just collect their money after signing a big contract. Dj could have done that but instead he worked on his game. That alone us admirable

dare i say VDN was co-MVP with DJ? sure people will blame him for that 3rd quarter, but he made the adjustment and we were back up 18 soon enough. not bad for having the guys ready on a back2back on the road.

How dare you? Just kidding, I agree he didn't break a sweat in the 3rd and 4th quarter. MVP MVP MVP!

Vinny made adjustments... I know many people thought after losing those games made most people think we would be 3-3. Most importantly, we got up for the Spurs, then hit the road for a tough second leg on a back to back, and did the job. The Fakers got steam rolled against them in the second game of their back to back... At the end Vinny did what he needed especially getting DJ going too!

DJ last season had ZERO 20 point games, he already has 2 this season and they are both from back to back games.

He has really put the work in and honestly I'm not suprised because I've always been really high on DJ. His potential is sky high and he will be a top 5 center in this league, this year. Mark my words, that's how much faith I got in the guy. His defense has also improved a lot he doesn't bite on every fake. Keep it up DJ and prove me right!!

^ blake is injured. when hes right, hes the second best player on this team. something that has gone underrated from griffin is his improvement on d. hes actually blocking shots and getting steals and forcing turnovers. crawford has been unconscious. 25 points against his former mates. and DJ. who is this guy? wow two monster games in a row. and 5 ft's made in a row. i think billups getting on his ass lit a fire under him. if DJ becomes consistent, look out nba, the clips are contenders

The best thing about DJ these past 2 games... I've heard him constantly screaming out HIS read of the opposition's offensive play from the middle. Sure, he's been burned a few times, but he's been right more often than not. That shows a massive leap in BBIQ and the confidence to be the General on that end. The offense is just a bonus.

Blake didn't score much tonight but he made a really clutch shot with a few mins left in the 4th and he also had more rebounds than anyone else in the game in his limited minutes. Oh, and he had 3 steals. I guess ekker just ignores the good Blake does but hey his avatar says it all, Chris sloppy Kaman. I don't know how a true Clipper fan can ever hate on Griffin especially when this is only his 3rd season in the league.

As long as other teams game plan for him being the best or second best, all our other guys will look like studs.

The minute they treat him as an afterthought, he will destroy them.

To me, he's a close second to CP3 for team MVP because he makes his teammates better... even when the stats don't suggest it.

Let them double and triple team Blake. He's a great passer. Open up our outlets. We've got shooters this year. 3 guys for 20+ two nights in a row I believe. Wow

the clips are only scratching the surface of what they can accomplish. what makes us even more scary is that odom is not 100 percent yet, and billups and hill have yet to play.

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised that DJ has played this well two games in a row. I've been pretty skeptical of DJ at times but I'm glad to see that he's starting to live up to his potential.

DJ's been getting better and better statistically every season and true bigs like him take time to develop their game. Glad we have him on a long term contract. Chris "I Own A Bowling Team" Paul is next up for one of those long term deals please

Those 3 alone are 6, 7 and 8 off the bench in a playoff series.

And our bench is already killing.

Wassup fellas, not really new here, been watching for almost 3 yrs now but this is my first post...blake shouldn't have sat so long and butler should have been in to take advantage of the mismatch created by batum sticking cp3...oh well great win and great job from DJ...like shaq said he's the best center in the west/NBA if he keeps it up...oh yeah Clipper fan since Danny Manning

Exactly. And why does it even matter how our players rank against eachother as long as we're winning? I sure don't care.

And yes, Blake only had 7 points on a tough shooting night, but he also had 10 boards, 4 assists and 3 steals. Those are pretty good numbers, which contributed greatly to us building the lead in the first place. We don't win that game last night without his contribution.

Im amazed at the depth of this team. The San Antonio game was an amazing display, and seven guys were in double figures. The front office did an amazing job of quietly putting together guys that do the fundamental things like pass, rebound, and steal. Guys like Barnes, Odom, Turiaf, and Green do a lot to support our scorers like Griffin, PAul, and Crawford. The Golden State Game and Cleveland game were a good example of how critical this bench is to our success. In both of those games our bench did not live up to its potential and we suffered for it. I have no doubt in my mind that this team is going to the finals and winning against any team.

Good win, we'd all like DJ to continue playing like that. And looks like Damian Lillard is the real deal, that kid can ball.

Hey everyone's complaining about Odom? Look at the brightside: next year he's off the books most of our bench guys won't get more than the min except maybe Barnes, we'll get a 1st round pick see what he can do! This team is headed in a good direction! 8 mil to play with is a lot of dough!
