Clippers are 5 and 0! when the wife goes to work!

clippers are 0 and 2! when she is at home.

Wife will be at work today.

Its time to bring on the heat!!!

its time for gmans stat of the night. Clippers improve to 6! and 0! when the wife works.

It's official... she has to work during every game we play.

Yeah I 2nd that, we must keep the streak alive! Super

yup. like i said before, most of the guys on our team can start on other teams. and i honestly feel our bench could beat half of the teams in the nba without a doubt.

its a crazy coincidence. i kinda kept track last year and it was a higher winning % when she was at work. This season im keeping it. Mondays game will be a test of this as she doesnt work and we play spurs at san an. sats game not sure. she wont get sched til fri night.

Just read that the Clippers starters only scored 1 point in the 4th. They did all of their damage in 3 quarters. It was the bench that took a 9 point lead, pushed it to 20 and held their ground most of the way. Mind you Lebron and Bosh were in most of the 4th.

Blake and Chris Paul both played only 30 minutes while we blew out the defending champions... How much better could his rotations be?

Great team effort tonight! Even Lamar is rounding into form

You mean he's thinning into form? Kidding... but seriously, he played within himself today and didn't force anything. LO is coming back, y'all..

I should watch my word choice wink

Can you guys imagine this bench with an inshape Lamar and Hill?? Ridiculous, I think we're 11 deep, not even counting Turiaf.

SIGH.

This game was AWESOME!

Blake's best all around game so far this year. 20 pts, 14 rebs, 6 assists, 2 blocks, hit jumpers and free throws...against the defending champs!

CP3 was somewhat low key, but still a leader out there and hit some BIG TIME shots when it looked like we would need them. Bledsoe applying pressure, as usual. Butler and Green doing just enough. Our centers making some nice defensive plays. Hollins once again causing trouble, getting on another player's nerve (this time causing Wade to earn a technical foul).

Finally, Jamal was simply poetry in motion. When there was talk about us getting him LAST YEAR, I wanted him. But we got Nick Young instead. And Young was good enough at that point. Then we had another opportunity this year and a lot of folks were talking about Ray Allen. I did NOT want Allen, I wanted Crawford. I have to say Allen has looked a lot better this year than he did in the playoffs last year, so I underestimated him a bit. But I couldn't be happier with Jamal right now!

Simply because he sucks and he holds this team back. I was at the game and in the 4th quarter you should see how many we're yelling at Vinny. Vinny should of brought the starters in much sooner. How do you leave your starters out till 3:58 in the game.

but frankly, what more could billups offer other than veteran leadership and player coaching? crawford, bledsoe, CP need as many minutes as they can get

Billups knows how to settle the team down in tense and crucial moments. He is crafty with the ball and knows how to get to the line. Of course he's also know for his big shot for a reason as well. I believe he will make a huge difference. His IQ and experience will go along way.

Agreed, those jumpers were amazing. You can tell BG isnt all talk about putting practice time in for those jumpers. The Heat left him open thinking this was the old BG that couldnt make anything except for a slam dunk. BG got a whole lot better and the teams fortunes rose because of it

Voyeur wrote:

Im glad he finally showed up at the end but we cant have these sorts of efforts from him. Our Golden State game loss was partly due to a slow start, we need him present in the first half as well.

Bledsoes pressure and energy was amazing. The only problem that I had was, as ClipperJoe correctly pointed out, that he started to look for his own shot too much and forced plays. I think Bledsoes energy and defense was far better than what CP3 displayed, but everytime im damn near convinced that Bledsoe should be getting the starting nod he goes on this uncontrollable streak of energy and falls in love with his own energy and forces plays and doesnt pass...so far I still agree with Clipper Joe and others that the starting PG role should be Chris Pauls, but every game that i see him coast through the first half and him getting outplayed by Bledsoe makes me question him. Hopefully he plays hard all quarters

Nothing new that I've heard of, but the good thing is at the moment their return isnt critical. Jamal Crawford is doing just fine in the second unit and Grant Hills presence isnt needed just yet. Even when these two come back I vote for gradually letting them in the lineup those two will have a lot of rust

Balanced contribution and one heck of a beatdown in the 2nd half on the defending champs. LOVE IT! Crawford at this pace is a lock for 6MOY, I'm actually scared when he goes cold, hopefully that period coincides with Big Shot coming back Smile

And like I said before this game on this thread, Wade doesn't play well against us, proven yet again tonight. He was pretty much a non-factor, Bledsoe's block made sure of that Wink That was SICK, highlight of the night for me.

Records don't mean **** to me. 6-2 or 2-6. We started 15-7 last year and got swept by the spurs in the 2nd round by a better coach. Honestly I don't really care. VDN is a horrible Coach.

If our bench is doing good let's give some rest to our starter to avoid injury.

Yeah, but we don't live in your world... we live in the world where records mean everything.

We're winning games early in the season against the best in the league while playing our horses ~30 minutes. That is great coaching. Your blind hatred makes you look like a fool.

The funny thing is we're STILL not at at full throttle yet! And I see no reason why our defense won't be the same as it is now in the POs. Offense comes and goes, but defense stays, at least that's what I'm told!

Gotta root for the Knicks for the next couple of days... @SAS tonight, @MEM tomorrow. If they win those games and we take out CHI on Saturday, it's "hello, top spot" for the Clips!

I think we'll take out Chicago! I mean the only spots they can kindaa beat us is the PF/C spots, and our big men have been beasts of late so I'm not worried about it, but if you look at the matchups, they don't really have an edge ANYWHERE! We gotta LOCK DOWN Nate Robinson, he been playing well!

as long as no one tries to jump and block his shot. we're good. I'm actually a little worried because we tend to play down and kind of hurt ourselves against underperforming teams. Same as last year.

if someone could post that video that'd be cool

your responses on here dont mean s*** to most of us. if you dont like vdn, you have the option of rooting for d'antoni and the flakers. enough with your bulls***. give it a f****n rest man. come back and post on here if vdn starts f*****g up. til then give it a rest with your half truths. the reasoning u give is a joke. gee, i guess billups tearing his achilles didnt influence the clips. oh and the injuries to butler, bg and cp3 in the playoffs didnt influence the outcome vs the spurs. smh
