Love this guy so much. Great addition (I called it when most bashed the move) and in general has been a fantastic leader, locker room addition and guy who knows his role better than anybody on the team.

Praises the hell out of BG and CP3. He says this team is a legit family, no jealousy or hating.

^^^ same here. I never imagined he'd be this good for us though I always felt like he was one of those players who was just meant to be a Clipper. Love hearing him talk about the team. Everything he says just get you amped up for the next game.

Well he's not going to shoot 53 percent and average 20+ ppg all year. Obviously both of those will temper a bit as Blake and CP3 start scoring more. Even then he could have a career year in efficiency and even 15+ ppg off the bench would be SUPERB and well worth the money. He's been a huge contribution to the locker room despite the talk that he would be a selfish, uncoachable player which I have no clue where that came from. Low IQ chucker? I'd be willing to be he's easily the smartest basketball IQ guy on the Clippers next to CP3. I've heard the guy talk ball enough to know he's extremely basketball savvy and intelligent.

I knew he was one of the BEST ,if not the best aquisition, by the clippers this offseason the moment we started some buzz last year to trade EBled and Gomes for JCross, He expressed interest to come here, and since our players appealed to him, that just shows how much he fits here!

Humble & Confident at the same time. Perfect player for this team & playing more capable defense than he gets credit for... still can't rebound though! lol

Yeah, gotta love Crawford. One of the few along with 86 who knew this would work. Not gonna lie, I didn't think he would return to form like this.

Yea Joe you also supported the move. Most Clippers fans invluding our writers and bloggers of team panicked and ripped him apart. Cant wait to see him kill Allen tomorrow.

I knew Jamal 'Fiddy' Crawford would be the perfect fit the moment we signed him. I've been a fan of his since his Knick days, he's very underrated and he's a very smart/crafty player. It also doesn't hurt that he shoots over 90% from the ft line.

i felt from the start when we signed crawford we made the right choice in going with him instead of ray allen. and so far, its proved to be one of the best signings of the free agency period.

I also was not a fan of the signing, so while I'm eating crow off the Crawford plate, I'm also balancing that out with some sweetness off the Barnes and DJ entrees.

Good dinner so far. Smile

The only question mark on the Jcrossover signing was his tendency to jack up shots uncontrollably, and the only reason I felt that wasn't gonna be the problem is all because of CP3. CP3's attention to details and the way he controls everything rest assured me that Crawford was only going to thrive. Not to mention that Crawford is probably one of the best locker room guys in the entire league.

Yeah, his FT shooting has helped to put us 9th in the league in that stat. We're shooting just about 78% as a team! Who ever saw that coming!

^ Yup and hopefully that 78% becomes an 88% the way DJ is shooting!

On a side note: I think with the combination of Chris Paul, Big shot Billups, and Jamal, we have the clutchest team in the NBA by far. Jamal himself has almost 10 game winners.

Jamal's always a good interview. He speaks his mind, but in a professional manner. Here's a couple of EYE-POPPING stats for you regarding Jamal:

+/- of +63 (5th in the NBA)

Avg 9.3pts in the 4th quarter (1st in the NBA)

That basically says when he's in the game, leads tend to increase, sometimes exponentially.

Some gusy with alot of talent just need to be put in the best position to succeed. A spot where their weaknesses are minimized and they can use their talents to maximum efficiency, and expectations are reasonable. It took Zack Randolph a long time to find an NBA "home". Seems like Jamal has just found his.

I had a good idea that he would be the right fit for the team. As i checked his highlitghts alot were threes, or deep twos at the buzzer. A shooter to take pressure off of CP3 and BG was exactly what we were missing when Billups went down, and that was a huge reason why we dropped from 2nd in the west to 5th. Even if Billups doesnt come back in a timmely manner, or we experience a re-injury Crawford provides enough for us to finish in the top three in the west.

He is on his game, putting in work. Almost had a flashback from a few years ago, yesterday night when he was crossing ray allen... I honestly thought he'd drop him again, but I guess Ray has learned.
