I can't wait until we get an elite wing player. But that's not gonna happen this year.

Our 2 superstars screwed it up for us in the 2nd half. Blake with that passive BS and overthinking again, and cp3 seems likes he's trying too hard and not letting the game come to him

Pathetic! Came out flat and turned the ball over way too much.

Gotta regroup and salvage the road trip.

I really don't think Blake would'e won us this game is we left him iso in clutch time like some people want. Have no idea where you're getting these ideas

I hate for my post in a while to be negative, but Vinny is so stubborn and stupid with his lack of imagination with lineups.

We got a good team, don't need any changes. Just got to run some damn plays and take what a team gives you, to much 1 on 1 and forcing crap.

Vinny, Griffin and CP3 get this loss on their shoulders. Sure bench didn't show up but it's unrealistic to expect role players to show up EVERY NIGHT. They've carried us all year so they get a pass on this one. CP3, Griffin and Vinny are becoming a problem and I'm not sure this trio can lead the team anywhere besides a 2nd round exit.

Not what I'm saying. Just saying those 3 need to be held accountable. Maybe hire an elite coach, let Bledsoe be the PG of the future letting CP3 walk and force Griffin to become the undisputed first scoring option.

Every loss we've had has come down to one key factor; poor defense. They need to have that same fire as they did during the 6 game winning streak.

I can't believe what I just read. Have some hope 86, the season is VERY young and we are still a TOP team.

Or find a new team to root for that meets the qualifications?

It's unrealistic for role players to show up and do what is expected of them every night, but it is realistic for superstars to perform to our expectation every night? Huh? This was a team loss, man. Not going to blame any individuals because no one played that well tonight

accountability is an interesting issue here on CTB . I think when a player has a bad game its a valid point to raise. I noticed here on CTB people dont like that and if you do all of a sudden your not a true clipper fan.

The 4th quarter of this game was in my opinion the worst quarter of the season. It seemed like half the quarter we couldn't buy a bucket. I hope we can rebound from this loss and get a W tomorrow in Atlanta. I was surprised that CP3 had his second game that he didn't seem clutch down the stretch. Griffin also seemed less dominant tonight, I didn't think Reggie wore him down that much. Hopefully the guys just ate too much yesterday and that was what was slowing them down. Realistically we probably wont keep an 80% win percentage throughout the season so I'm not that concerned about another loss.

Any word on when Billips and Hill will be back? What about Trey Thompkins? we could have used a big that wasn't afraid to shoot tonight.

Why the hell does every time someone calls out the team they have to jump off why don't you take Paul's, Blake and Vinny respective sacks out of your mouths and hold them accountable. They are the franchise and they needed to carry this team on the road and failed they should be called out for it and we will move on damn.

So sick of this homer nut hugger crap they deserved to be flamed they got a pass against OKC but for all three to make the same errors in BKN you get called out. If you don't believe in tough love you shouldn't be a Clipper fan join the Lakers if you want to be controlled by a tool like Kobe and the fans have no voice.

Why would I need to find a new team when my perspective is always the best interest of the team? I have no serious player loyalty. Sure I have my favorite players I'm a homer for like Bledsoe but if letting a player walk, trading a player or hiring a new coach is in the best interest of the team I will always support that 110 percent even if I like a player.

Chris Paul should be BETTER this year with more weapons around him and an offseason with the team. Yet he is worse in every way, literally. Blake has his own problems but in Blake's defense he's barely starting his third season and hasn't had good coaching or big men mentors. I know Blake is still inexperienced and raw. Chris on the other hand doesn't have that excuse. In his 7th season now, extremely cerebral and intelligent player yet continues to make poor decisions. Somehow came into the season out of shape despite being in impeccable shape just a month or two earlier.

I never thought I'd mention low IQ in a sentence with CP3 but the last few games he's made multiple low IQ plays that had me yelling at the TV "WTF are you doing!?".

Every player is allowed to have bad games but to have relatively low impact in 12 games now? I feel like Bledsoe has a larger positive impact on the team 75 percent of this season so far. Superstars and top 5 players shouldn't be pulling this kind of crap.

Accountability is not the same as saying, or hinting, this team would be better without one of the, if not the, best PGs in the league. that doesn't even make sense

Not saying definitely we should. But if CP3 keeps this up all year I'd consider letting him walk, signing Bledsoe to a 5 year deal and using the cap space created to max out a better SG or SF. Last year CP3+Griffin didn't form the super duo we expected and it's still an issue this year.

Not knocking on you or anything but I have never seen you criticize Bledsoe. All of us agree that CP3 and Blake had bad games and should be held accountable, but the bench should be as well.

I've definitely admitted that Bledsoe has a knack for stupid turnovers or misses wide open shots etc. My point about the bench is they have greatly exceeded expectations all year long so I'm not going to blast them after one subpar game. Blake and CP3 are having subpar games in about 9 of the 12 games so far and the expectations I have for them is MUCH greater with good reason.

What's our losing streak now in New Jersey, er, New Jersey and Brooklyn?

IMO this has everything to do with our pace. Cp3 is basically having to recreate himself trying to play at a faster pace which means bad decisions at times. In his defense, I think the thumb injury is still lingering if nothing more than mentally.

I am more concerned about Vinny's inability to find bled mins when our teams has no energy, and Blake's FTs. I just don't think his form is appro-po for his release. There is not much give because he has a wrist release and he ends up on his tip toes. nit picking but, it bothers me with having a shooting coach and the rest of the coaching staff.

I also fear this roster is too flexible for Mr. Washboard Brain.

Repped High Quality Post

Great use of exaggeration. Just laugh off the problems and they will go away. It's completely valid to criticize when players or the team play like crap, you know that right? Maybe you're one of the Clippers fans that's still stuck in the mediocrity mindset and is okay with being a second tier team.

I'm not, I've seen how great this team can be. Not later but NOW.
