CP3 has ruined our chance to win two games in a row turning the ball over in crucial moments multiple times. I am not happy with his play and I am sure he isn't either, but he needs to fix it because the Oklahoma game and the Nets game could have been wins if he didn't screw up twice.

Right now, he does not look like the best point guard in the NBA. Maybe he is injured or out of shape. I agree everyone has off nights, but this is twice in a row. Somebody has take the ball out of his hands if he is not performing. I feel like Paul is not himself right now, and almost feel he is playing and getting respect on an old reputation because he is not the same player right now. Please Paul prove me wrong!

He hasn't looked good in the past two games, and this should be a good sign for Vinny to work on the defficiencies with him. I always feel that when players have off nights the coahcing staff needs to work on these defficiencies to prevent a two game skid from becoming a six game skid.

Players are like employees at a job, they will get away with as much as you let them. You simply cant leave it up to the players to improve on their own or shrug it off as an off night. These things need to be corrected and addressed by the coaching staff.

You can't pin it just on him- that's silly. These were 2 very close games, so the same could be said for some of the other guys as well for missing free throws, turnovers, missed dunks/easy shots, etc. CP3 hasn't had two of his best games, but he had been playing well. No way the ball should be taken away from him- he is the best play-maker on the team.

That said, I do wish there would be more options for end-of-game plays instead only just him going one on one and shooting a fade-away at the end- that would be on the coaching staff to draw up something better.

Are we going to have another 6 winning streak after two loses, I hope so. I don't understand our four loses are winnable IMO. We won againts the better team but we lose to a team lower than us.

Stuff happens, players have bad days. I know it's hard to comprehend but they do,,,look at Kobrick. Happens to him too. The biggest problem is turnovers, gotta cap those.

Did you watch any of the games? All 4 losses the Clippers had a chance to win the game in the last minute and failed to step up. So obviously that means they were all winnable. Besides we are better than all 4 of the teams we lost to, so even more winnable. Only opponent we've lost to with similar talent/ability is OKC. Which is why the OKC loss bugs me the least of the four.

Yes I watch all the games for christ sakes and sometimes you lose to teams with lesser talent...it happens all the time...it's BB. Tone down your expectations a bit and you won't have to go nuts on every friggin loss...cause there's more on the way.

That one went right over your head. You laughed at the idea that all games are winnable for this team and I disagree that they aren't. I feel like every game is winnable for a team of this caliber. Will we win them all? Obviously not. Should we be stepping up more late in games and closing them out strong, win or lose? HELL YES.

I'm actually okay with certain losses to a point such as the OKC one. Neither team played well, we were on the road vs an elite team but still never quit fighting and competing. Can't say the same about our other 3 losses including BK last night where we just seemed to flat out fold and die under pressure.

He's had a couple of bad nights and to be honest I dont think he's been playing all that well for the majority of the season. I know he's averaging like 16 and 10 but I feel like he hasnt been himself this season as far as shooting and overall efficiency.

I think we need to start to get him going earlier in games instead of him focusing on getting others involved. He's in a bit of a slump atm so we have to get him out of it.

I so agree with making a special note on CP3. In fact let's trade the bast**d right away and get our hands on a real PG like DJ Augustin for example!

cp 1 for 6 so far in ATL. Another off night? People get mad I call this out? I suppose that means Lamar Odom has only had 13 "off nights" in a row. Yeah, that is it.

And you're 10/11... 10 posts hating on the best PG in the game.

Must take real basketball wisdom to only show up to bash one guy on a slump. I look forward to reading your stuff when he gets back to singlehandedly winning games for us.

CP3 cost us the OKC game for sure but thats it. For the Hawks game no one was positive. Only three players had a +/- of 0(CP3 being one of them). Our bench was also horrendous and our defense was lacking.

The Nets game was a poor team effort.

That being said I hope CP3 starts playing more aggressive. Attack a bit more and try to draw some fouls.

Yup... and let's trade DJ for Bynum... ZERO turnovers this season!

Time for some home cook'in to straighten this team out,,, wins in a row coming, can you feel it?

Damn guys, stop blaming people. Yes we lost three straight, but that was bound to happen throughout the season. There will be some peaks and some valley. We're not going to win every single game. And please, blaming a specific person does not solve anything. What I saw this game was a team loss and tired legs. They need to go back to LA and recharge and rebound and win at least 5 out of next 6 games. This is a progress, not yet a finish product. We're still working on it guys. Come on have some faith.

Some people are blinded by our leader and how "GREAT" he is... even when he has costed us a few games... I love CP just like the rest of us but him PURPOSELY getting two fouls at the end of the Brooklyn game, to ride the pine... is disrespectful and not a leader.... IMHO, he costed us all three of the games by holding the ball for 15 seconds.

Don't get it twisted, I'm not BASHING the team... but being a fan means being a harsh critic as well.

Repped High Quality Post

we have been critical of him. but i agree, some people like to blame anyone but cp3. he needs to be held accountable, just like anyone else on this team. however, in the end the clippers do lose as a team

theres nobody in the league whoS hands id rather have the ball in than cp3. hes had an off couple of games but its better if he makes whatever adjustments early in the season rather than playoff time.

have to agree with that, if our bench was balling in the season and they were exposed to zone only in the POs, it would kill us, nicely said that we're having to make adjustments now, instead of the POs!

We go on a three game losing streak and cp3 is a bad guy . Lol common really guys this guy is the cause of playoffs last year and for sure this year winning record and you still give him crap common every allstar has his slump . Lets not be foolish here and start bashing cp3 we are 8-5 not 0-8 I know you remember that start two years ago .

He's not a bad guy, and I dont want him gone from the team. However, He's not having a good year so far by his standards though. His offensive production 15.8ppg is tied for the worst offensive production of his career, his field goal percentage .447 is the second worst of his career, 3pt percentage .308 is also the worst of his career, rebounds per game 3.7 also second worst of his career, assists per game this year 9.6 APG is the 4th worst of his career. Clearly he is staring this year off ranked among the worst compared to other years in his career.

That being said his EFF + 22.31 is still very impressive. Clearly, he is still productive, but those low numbers in the categories i mentioned do have a role to play in the outcome of games.

So while I dont want the guy gone I clearly see a decline in some aspects of his game, and I would love for him to work that out and get back to form. Its still very early in the season but he does need some work on his game

Well said. I know he's struggled a lot recently, but I think it's a bit too early to start turning on him. Have faith people.

It has been 13 games.... Believe it or not players go through stretches where they are hot and stretches where they are cold and it averages out.

His stats also dropped tremendously due to that one horrendous game he had. I am not sure why you are under the assumption that every player is will consistently play at the same level. Kobe is shooting over 50% FG right now. Do you think he will continue that the whole season? No way in hell. He has never shot even close to that efficiently even in his prime. Again just a small stretch of games in a long season.

Look at D. Will. He has been shooting at less than 40% FG. Is he going to be that bad the whole season? Doubtful.

The only game I would say CP3 was 100% responsible for was the OKC game. He was just abysmal.
