My sentiments exactly especially with the Lakers catching up to us....

Heck GSW is ahead of us right now. A team with so many injury prone/injured players....

Very very interested in the BG vs Love matchup though.

Kevin Love is going off on Sac right now. 17 points and 21 rebounds and still in the 3rd quarter.

Hopefully he'll be tired and sore tomorrow.

Would be sad if we lose to a team on the road from a b2b.

Lakers getting a lot of help from the refs though. Good thing they are bricking free throws like crazy. Can't even win against mediocre teams at home with help from refs. lol

Kobe with a triple double. 10 TOs 10 rebounds. lol

Joey Crawford after gifting the Lakers another bs call.

Good thing they still loss.

OK, but the Hornets were playing the second of back to back games yesterday and it didn't matter much. Regardless of the other team's situation, it's going to come down to whether we come out ready to play.

Oops didn't actually watch the game.

Still there was a huge ft disparity and PF disparity as to be expected with Lakers games.

Kobe's reaction in that gif was priceless.

He better be, because you know Love is going to be ready for him. I was at the game last season where we lost on a Love 3 at the buzzer. I'm still pissed about that one. I hope the team is too.

Player G W L GS MP FG FGA FG% 3P 3PA 3P% FT FTA FT% ORB DRB TRB AST STL BLK TOV PF PTS Kevin Love 7 4 3 7 34.1 6.7 14.3 .470 1.3 3.3 .391 6.1 7.4 .827 3.3 9.7 13.0 2.1 0.9 0.3 1.7 2.3 20.9 Blake Griffin 7 3 4 7 37.6 10.0 18.4 .543 0.1 0.4 .333 6.0 10.1 .592 3.4 6.9 10.3 4.1 0.4 0.3 2.9 3.1 26.1

Head to head BG and Love have been pretty even. BG had higher FG% and scored on higher volume but Kevin Love shot 3s at a decent clip and made more FTs while rebounding more. Should be interesting to watch.

Judging by the way we're playing lately and the fact that the Wolves have bested us as of recently Im going to go out on a limb and mark this matchup as a loss

Maybe if we had a bunch of Josh Smith's and Andrew Bynum's in our locker room, but we don't we have the best locker room presence iv'e ever seen, If you think Chauncey is going to buy into a 5 game losing streak then you are sadly mistaken.

Gee, I wonder how the Heat (lost 5 in a row) and Dallas (lost 6 in a row) managed to meet in the 2010-11 NBA finals then...hmmm.

We haven't even seen how Chauncey will look when he is back. Our second unit has been exposed. CP3 and Blake look like they are dogging it.

Chauncey is there, just not on the court.

The TWolves beat us 3-4 or 2-3 last year (can't remember) so this game worries me.

I know what you are saying, but if we keep trodding downwords and teams like GSW who beat us once and is now ahead of us the division and other teams nipping at us we will be out of playoff contention soon enough.

ClipperAndrew I like your negativity and lack of faith because this is exactly what I am talking about when I say "The way to distinguish real Clipper fans from the fake is that the real fans do not have hope." HAHA......

BUT... we will be fine in my opinion. It seems like the guys just got bored and good teams tend to get bored. We need to adjust and remember that teams are always going to try their hardest to beat us. Before it was because no one wanted to lose against The Clippers and we sucked, now it is because we are one of the best teams in the NBA. If we get into a double digit loss we will worry. We will be ok in the meanwhile Smile

Wow, you truly are a stat-guru, tense.

There was me thinking that every championship team in history went 82-0 in the regular season. wink

I guess we're not doomed quite yet.

Mr. Big Shot is BACK!!! Just from that, I expect the Clippers to come out with extra motivation and destroy. But if the game is close and Chauncey hits a game winner, that would be a very epic return.

How is it when Lakers play like crap and open the season 0-5 and everyone on here is saying they suck and are doomed, and we go on a terrible losing streak to teams we should have beat and we will be fine.

All I am saying is losing 5 games in a row hurts in the standings, yes even this early in the season. No one thought GSW would be at the top of the pacific without Bogut.

I am clipper fan through and through, been for years. I have not lost faith, i am stating my opinion, that a 5 game losing streak would be hard to recover from...especially with the "easy" schedule we have. The Loss to the Hornets was just pathetic. The team is playing with no heart what so ever right now and it is disheartening as a fan to watch.

I am glad I am this upset about these losses, it means the teams expectations are not what they were. Every loss should be considered detrimental in my opinion.

Hope we can pull off the win tonight. Having Chauncey back will be good for the team psyche even if he is still a little slow on his feet. Kevin Love will probably have a huge game so hopefully Blake and DJ can have decent games to match.

Even if we do lose I hope we play with a greater sense of urgency than during the previous game during the Hornets. I want to see our guys play with some decisiveness.

Even if Chauncey has the typical rusty game off a major injury, his presence alone should propel the Clippers to win. This will be one of the most memorable games of the season.

Something telling.... in all these interviews the guys are calling Chauncey THE leader of the team, not one of them. DJ said playing with Chauncey just calms him down and brings everybody together. Maybe CP3's leadership is a bit overrated and when Billups is gone the team may take a big hit again.
