I still think that Green should've played a little bit like 5-7 minutes in the 3rd when Crawford couldn't make ANYTHING!

Anyone else notice Crawford doesn't exactly love to reward the big guys who run with him on the break? It's a little annoying but I guess it's that kind of mentality that also makes him a dangerous scorer.

Well, one things for sure. We cant always bank on the possibility that Crawford will always be healthy..keeping Green in for a few minutes could have been advantageous in certain respects.

Great game from Blake, great 4th Q from everybody else. I thought this one was going to get away from us in the 2nd... we just didn't have enough guys show up.

I don't like to be too hard after a tough road win, but I was cringing every time CP3 deferred to Billups early on. If either of them is going to be relegated to being a spot-up shooter it should be Chauncey. He's quite clearly not up to game speed yet so he shouldn't be running the offense. These are also the type of games that convince the team that they can coast until the 4th Q... a better team would have put us away by halftime with our terrible first half defense.

Still, they started the 4th like they'd just gotten a shot of juice and I'm glad it wasn't another "too little, too late" comeback attempt.

Utah fans left the arena thinking they'd seen the second coming of Karl Malone. Blake looked like a league MVP tonight.

Wow! Very nice, very nice indeed. One step forward, but we also need to get out of this fifth spot in the conference. Hoepfully we maintain this pace.

Watching the highlights and that last play reminded of the great Ryan Gomes. I still have nightmares!

Ryan Gomes couldn't make a shot to save his life, Billups saved us getting fouled on that 3, and made some fts!

Me too but the poor guy will have to stay in the doghouse. Confused

And people were ragging on him all season when he was actually playing.

yeah, he was hollering instructions to DJ.

and while i get that DJ's a goofball, it was amazing to see VDN react like that in crunch time.

Man, reading Jazz postgame report seems like ours. They're complaining about the refs which I understood because Billups did flop, but it was a game winning flop. So it's good for us Smile

Great win! Off topic, does anyone know when HILL is expected to join the active team??????

i hear mid december.

Hopefully later. This team, from what I have observed, gets relaxed. A new infusion into the lineup does wonders. Pushing back Hills return would be benficial during a time we are having a skid..perhaps he should be kept recovering until we have another bad streak and maybe his insertion into the lienup would get our guys spirits up.

well we do need hill to get into our lineup because of the great defense he plays

Expect a warning from Big Brother. I don't like that we possibly won on a play like that.

They don't call em Flop City for nothing. He's getting a fine. It's more about getting called out as a flopper than about the money.

How is it a flop though. He jumped to shoot the 3 and just fell back. He didn't really try to sell anything, IMO. The refs gave billups that call cause he's billups

Even if you think its a flop, look at it like this. We're usually getting shafted by the refs, we got a call going our way for once. Ill take it. We need thousands of more favorable calls for it to reach the level of the heat or lakers

What a GUTSY win on the road. Trailing all night long, it was very impressive seeing how the guys could find a way to get stops and pull out this win vs the previously unbeaten Jazz @ home. That was the key- getting stops.

Chris Paul was just masterful down the stretch using the DeAndre Jordan screen and hitting key layup after layup. Great recognition by CP3. Blake Griffin- what a game carrying the Clipper offense. That's the Blake we all know- quickly elevating over guys for easy buckets inside. It's interesting that he seems to play much better on the road vs at home thus far in the season. DJ didn't have a big game statistically, but he was pretty much the main man who was able to defend Al Jefferson. His block towards the end was huge.

The bench was terrific tonight. Bledsoe- just a beast in limited minutes. Jamal was a bit off but hit that big time crazy fade-away shot-clock beater in the 4th and ended up with 20. Barnes was solid, and it was nice to see Odom very active- probably his best game thus far. Very nice to see him not settle for jumpers too on offense. Solid D and rebounding as well for Lamar.

Our old Clipper friends Mo Williams and Randy Foye played exceptionally well. Good to see them, but hopefully they won't play this good vs the Clippers next time....

Reggie Miller made a career out of that move that Chauncey just did. If refs are dumb enough to call it all the time, then why not do it. Jazz fans obviously think it's the worst thing to ever happen to them because they are mad they lost just like I would be if it happened to us.

That's not a flop- his left arm stuck out and Mo Willams' body bumped into it. It's a borderline call but then again the refs gave the Jazz quite a few other calls throughout the game.

Yeah, the patented Reggie Miller move. Sorta similar to this one that Kevin Martin was warned for earlier this season.

However, we made soooo many positive plays in the 2nd half (the bench clawing us back in it, the increased points in the paint, BG's clutch jumper, Jamal's clutch 2 from the corner, CP3s layups, etc..) that the Jazz actually have several other reasons to blame their loss on.

Because of last season, people will see the clip and want to claim "Flop City" again, even though we've become much tougher players this year (as a result of the war w/ the Grizzlies, I'd say.) Blake has continued to take punishment, but I haven't seen him exaggerate any contact yet. Even when he gets hammered on fouls this season, he's shown much more maturity and kept calm and collected for the most part. Though I have seen CP3 exaggerate contact a few times, it's been very little and nothing egregious. And it's not like the league offices haven't had their eyes on us, so if they haven't noticed anything so far, then that should suffice.

Billups may get a warning tomorrow, but it's not representative of the way we've played this year, no matter what critics and doubters say... and that is what's comforting to me.

he did that leg kick during the shot that drew contact. jamal crawford does that. so does kobe, durant. so its not a flop. and to ooXo, shut the f*** up troll. get out of here with your bs.

How could you call the 3 point foul a flop? Billups got hammered.

He pretty much created all the contact though. But I'll take it. Like others have said, Billups did something there that a lot of guys do. It's part of the game.

Solid road win. Glad we made the necessary stops and buckets to seal the win.

That blk shot by DJ toward the end was stuff that legends are made of. Props to DJ!

And I believe it'll stay that way for a while too, our December games are "easy" cause they're easy targets, better not show up without any energy, this month we should use to get back in the 3rd maybe even 2nd spot in the conference.
