Flop or not, I'll take the W, thank you very much!

Anyone else notice Blake is using that step back one bounce dribble he learned from Carmelo in the U.S.A practices. IT's been money for him so far

Great win. We stole that game. This W makes up for one of the terrible losses we've taken this season. I'd love to see a few more like that and as long as Chauncey stays healthy we'll definitely see more of these kinds of games.

Blake played his best game of the year and all of a sudden we're not turning the ball over nearly as much. This is as much a result of Billups coming back as anything else.

Expect a warning from Big Brother. I don't like that we possibly won on a play like that.

That's not a flop- his left arm stuck out and Mo Willams' body bumped into it. It's a borderline call but then again the refs gave the Jazz quite a few other calls throughout the game.

It's a flop. You can't extend your feet or arms into a player like that. The rules were changed on that type of play where the foul is on the shooter.

If Billups doesn't use his forearm to make contact, there would be none.

No he didn't. It's not the leg and feet of Billups, he extends his forearm out to make contact with the chest/stomach of Mo. Billups is already in flop mode before he makes contact with Mo.

Billups didn't get hammered, the only contact made was Billups extending his forearm out. Watch the clip.

Anyone that watched the clip of Melo and BG know exactly what you're talking about.

Why did Mo stop wearing his head band? Do the Jazz have a rule against head bands?

Glad to see we won a tough game against a team that was previously undefeated at home. Also glad to see Mo and Randy play well.

Who cares whether it was a flop or not. The Clippers got the call, and that's all that matters. I am all for flopping if it helps your team win a game.

Yup. Very common play in the league. Kobe does it almost every time he shoots, a lot of them are called.

I don't feel the least bit bad about getting those two free throws. We've been screwed so many times before, maybe we got a call last night. Good. The league only owes us another 10,000 of those to break even.

I care. That's not how I wish we won the game. As it is, this team is known for that. The first fine was on a ex-clippers player.

But the biggest point you miss is that I originally posted the video in it's own thread to say that the league will probably warn or fine Billups for that. By the way, I am against flopping even if it helps us win.

face it, most of you guys would be crying right now if Mo did that and we ended up losing the game. And anyone who says different, are lying.

^ I am a soccer player and have seen flopping my entire life and learned to deal with it. My thought process is you do whatever you can to win the game. If you flop and it helps you, then great. If the other team flops, it sucks but you deal with it. When all is said and done and you flop a handful of times in a year and get a couple wins out of it, and the NBA only catches you a couple times... then your team won a couple games and you lost 5 grand that's nothing to these players.

Unfortunately, flopping is prevalent in all sports now and it's something have to deal with. I don't think the NBA handing out warning and fines is going to help much.

I don't like the fact that we won by a flop and I know we already have a bad rap for flopping but Billups did the right thing. Sometimes you have to do what it takes to get the W even if its a bit dirty.

Guys...the first 14 games we were averaging around 15 TO's/game. Since Chauncey has come back, turnovers have been reduced to about 8TO's/game.

Do you think we can keep these kind of numbers up?

Meh... they had a few of their own.

Borderline flop... I doubt the league will have anything to say. It was no less unfair than their "bloody" time-out.

' yup. as much as i like willie green, billups brings serenity and accountability to the starting lineup. not even cp3 gets away with carelessness when billups is out there. glad billups is on this team.
