Not sure about all of you, but I can see us going 9-1 the next 10 games.

At the same time I see the Lakers going 4-6 the next 10 games.

This is our chance to really get out ahead in the Pacific, we need to leave no doubt who the best team in LA truly is!

Go Clippers!

Let's not get too cocky considering how this team usually plays against lesser teams.

I'll be satisfied with 7-3 but I won't count on it. The Clippers still need to work on their overconfidence issues(nice way of saying they gotta quit being so effin cocky after big wins)

I'm just going to stay thinking about one game at a time.

Tonight we go up against Utah, a team that is undefeated at home. Going to be a tough one!

Here is the month of December

Very easy month

Mon 3 @ Utah L

Wed 5 vs Dallas W

Sat 8 vs Phoenix W

Sun 9 vs Toronto W

Tue 11 @ Chicago W

Wed 12 @ Charlotte W

Sat 15 @ Milwaukee L

Mon 17 @ Detroit W

Wed 19 vs New Orleans W

Fri 21 vs Sacramento W

Sun 23 @ Phoenix W

Tue 25 vs Denver W

Thu 27 vs Boston W

Fri 28 @ Utah L

Sun 30 vs Utah W

I could see us going 12-3 in the next 15 games. That would put us 22 - 9 after the month of December. Its important to take advantage of the schedule when it lightens up.

^Not so sure about that. 2 road games at Utah and one in Chicago are hardly easy. Plus Boston at home and Denver at home will be very competitive. A 7-3 mark would be good, 8-2 exceptional.

Come on looking at the teams we're playing in December we have to come out with around 10 wins at LEAST, all the teams we're facing are below .500 at least ALMOST all of them!

we can win all those games, however, there are several up in the air games there with the second meeting with utah, the celtics, and milwaukee (they do have monta ellis and jennings in the backcourt). 7-3 is what the clips should shoot for. but its best if we take it one game at a time.

Come on...you must have expected us winning vs the Nets and Hawks after those two solid games at Spurs and Thunder?

Knowing that both the Nets and Hawks were good teams, particularly at their house....nope.

I only expect the Clipps to play hard every game and then see what the results bring.

8-2 would be great but 7-3 is realistic... We need to make sure that we win when the Fakes lose too... There were a couple instances in that four game losing streak where we could have picked up a couple of games.

after losing to those sub .500 teams, you'd think some people would remember those loses and not make predictions like these lol.

Sat 8 vs Phoenix W

Sun 9 vs Toronto W

Tue 11 @ Chicago L

Sat 15 @ Milwaukee L

Mon 17 @ Detroit W

Fri 21 vs Sacramento W

Sun 23 @ Phoenix L

Tue 25 vs Denver W

Thu 27 vs Boston L

Fri 28 @ Utah L

Sun 30 vs Utah W

Borrowing Ghostship's list and giving my take, I'm being more conservative here given our road record and playing down to opponents, so I say 10-5, still a solid record even if we underperform a bit. I wouldn't kick 12-3 out of bed, just managing expectations here.

I'm actually not worried about Chicago on the road. I'm more worried about the Bucks and especially the scrappy Bobcats.

Worst case scenario we got 6-4, most likely we will go 7-3 or 8-2. Hopefully we will go 9-1 lol. To be frank we are the favorite in all of these matchups but fatigue and inconsistent effort or cold shooting will do us in at least once probably.

More worried about the Bucks and Bobcats than the Bulls? I never thought I would see the day. Shocked

Seriously though we annihilated the Bulls last time so I can see why.

Wed 5 vs Dallas W We should win this easily.

Sat 8 vs Phoenix W With Nash they always gave us trouble but the Suns are really really horrible. I can see Shannon Brown shooting lights out like if he is any good but as long as we can withstand it we are good.

Sun 9 vs Toronto W - The Raptors are horrible but we should be able to beat them at home.

Tue 11 @ Chicago W - The Bulls have NOBODY...but they are at home so they have the upper hand. Their best player is Carlos Boozer and he really really sucks. So we should win this game.

Wed 12 @ Charlotte W They have been playing well of late but they are no match for our squad.

Sat 15 @ Milwaukee W - We shouuuld win this...but The Bucks are the best they have been in a long time. If we can make Jennings shoot a bad percentage like he always does I think we should win.

Mon 17 @ Detroit L - For some reason I think they will play out of character and we will be lazy after notching up a couple of wins and we lose.

Wed 19 vs New Orleans W - I hope we win this game by 30.

Fri 21 vs Sacramento W - The Kings are pretty horrible this year so we should beat them easily as long as we dont let Marcus Thornton go off for 50.

Sun 23 @ Phoenix W - The Suns are horrible but they always have a chance at home because their sorry players tend to shoot and play respectable at home. I say we still win.

Tue 25 vs Denver W - Denver is one of the most overrated teams coming into this season. People talked about them like if they were going to be some contender or something in the West and I was like Am I missing something ? They were treating the addition of Igouadala (who is a mediocre player) like if they had gotten Lebron James or something. The Nuggets have a good bunch of role players but their lack of star power will always haunt them. We should win this game quite easily.

Thu 27 vs Boston W - Boston is probably at its worst stretch of basketball in a really long time. I have watched some of their games and they are just slow, old, and without Ray Allen they really have no knock down shooters. If it were not for Rondo getting alot of the guys easy or open shots the Celtics would probably be worse than they are. Add to that the fact that Rondo over passes and I think that is a recipe for an easy victory for us.

Fri 28 @ Utah L - For some reason I think the Jazz will not lose 3 in a row at Utah. They will gut it out. Al Jefferson will play like Kareem Abdul Jabbar against us like he always does and I see someone like Hayward scoring like 30 points or something.

Sun 30 vs Utah W - Bounceback and we win.

All these games of course depend on how we start off playing the first 5 minutes of the game. If we give those pathetic type efforts we gave against the Warrios and Hornets it is possible we can lose allll these games even the ones at home. I am counting on the guys to play like we all know they can and be dominant.

this is not true. they do have talent in deng, noah, boozer, even hinrich and robinson can be included. plus they are at home, so lets not say stuff like "they have nobody". yes, we beat them bad here in la, but at home they can be tough, even without rose

Definitely true but let it be known that they are a shadow of their former selves and a lot of it does not have to do with Rose. They loss A LOT of depth. They loss loads of great bench players like Asik, Korver, Brewer, Watson.

Keep in mind last year they were 1st seed in the East with Rose out for almost half the season. They loss a lot of key players.

Keep in mind Asik is putting up 10/13 in Houston right now. Great rebounder and defender.

****. We better beat the Nuggets. I made a bet with my boss at work; loser has to drink one of the display beers at work as a shift drink... I better not drink a PBR that's sitting on the shelf for 6 months next to a blasting heater.

We really need to win all these games this month. Next month is TOUGH. We have a ton of back to backs against really good teams next month so we have to take advantage of this light schedule we have right now.

I like this teams chances going into saturday, 6-0 on 2+ days rest, albeit those have all been at home and the Bucks will be on the 2nd of back-to-back with travel, also their 3rd in 4 nights.

I'm going to take a moment and say one quick thing... Clipper fans we have a great team. Emphasis on GREAT. This is the best Clipper team ever put together, and this is one of the best teams in the NBA right now. This season will not be like any other we've witnessed.

The reason I say this is because I see many people still acting like this is our 05-06 team. We were good, but we weren't unbeatable. And we, wisely, proceeded nervously and cautiously. We would wisely shoot down hopeful and ideal projections. This team is different... Those hopeful and ideal projections are an expectation and probability now.

Am I saying they are law? No. Even the best team will lose (heck Miami lost to Washington!) All I am trying to say is, stop shooting people down for being optimistic... The optimism and ideal projections are as deserving and probable as they ever have been, maybe even will be.

The team is hungrier than ever. The team is stacked as ever. The team is talented as ever. You can sure as hell expect this team has the potential to be the most successful Clipper (and among the most successful NBA) team. Go Clips!

At the moment, the Clippers are showing us that not Only they are an elite team, but they are a DOMINANT team. And we're still out of the radar. We have the Pistons on the road, followed by the Kings, Hornets, and Suns before we play the Nuggets on Christmas day. I am no longer worried about the Clippers playing down to their opponents. It's not a long shot that the Clippers will take care of the Pistons, Kings, Suns, and Hornets. And for the LOVE OF GOD don't lose to the Nuggets. I have a bet riding on the game against the Nuggets with my boss at work. I will not drink a disguasting display beer.
