Damn, Kleiza hits a 3 on their last possession. Without that shot, the Clips hold the Raptors scoreless for the last 8 minutes of the 4th quarter! Unbelievable!

Barnes was simply preventing Lucas from diving into the crowd. Watch the replay.

Lol if we were to have an amazing record near the end of the season,

I'd love to send ALL our starters home against the Lakers

(like what the Spurs did).

Then we'd show the NBA, and most importantly the Lakers, that our

bench is as good as most starting lineups, and to embarras and degrade

the Lakers. It's like having the cake and eating it too hahaha.

Happy Birthday for Bledsoe! He went 6-9 for 14 pts. 6 asts, 4 rebs, 2 blks, 2 stls, 0 to. He led our team in +/- with +21.

Crazy game. BG's stats look ridiculous for a guy who didn't play the 4th:

19 pts (7-11), 9 rebs, 4 assists, 3 steals!

It kinda looked like CP3 couldn't figure out the Raptor's defense. Yet Bledsoe broke through it. That's what I love about having both these guys at point. They're such a great contrast.

Hahha, yeah... everyone in the crowd and on the bench keep pulling for him to make that shot, and it just doesn't happen. Just drive to the rim and lay it up, LO!

LOL! It took 4 times to take it out of the judges' hands. I literally shed a tear after that fight. Just paying a little homage to a fighter who has been overlooked most of his career. Kinda like us Clippers.

Just a few days more and back to normal. One day for every fight they've had. Very Happy

Nonito Donaire should be filling Manny's big shoe, although he will never be as big as Manny. He might be looking to avenge Pac's loss next weekend. But Jorge Arce is no pushover. However, it won't mean as much since the Mexicans finally got their revenge against the man who has had triumphs against their fighters.

Man all of those fights were very close. In my opinion Marquez should have won the third fight but it was close enough that it wasn't terrible that Pacman won.

That Pacman vs Bradley fight was terrible though. Straight up robbery.

Marquez is definitely underrated. Amazing he can still fight at that level. He was just waiting patiently for that moment. The moment where he could land a counter Pacman didn't even see coming.

So anybody still feel Pac can beat Floyd?

Grillinnap

No. I was never that confident he could beat Floyd. But that fight was so 2009-2010. I think he would've had a chance to beat Floyd after that destruction of Hatton. So much confidence for Pac going into the Floyd fight. But I doubt Pac still has any confidence left. I think he should just rematch Bradley and retire as a champion. Bradley, I'm still confident Manny can beat him. The Manny of last night would've finished the Bradley that he fought in June. Pac gave that fight away so bad in terms of dominating him, even though he still won in many people's eyes.

I don't think he has a chance anymore to be honest. He has declined a lot more than Floyd because he is the type of fighter that takes a lot of punches.

When he just came off that dominant victory over Cotto sure but as of right now I am doubtful. He has too much wear and tear and is too old at this point.

Man we should nickname the 2nd unit the "finishers" or something. They just jumped all over the Raptors bench in the 4th, and when their starters came back nothing changed. Another game when they went the entire 4th quarter- and deservedly so. Great job Bledsoe (happy birthday!), Barnes, Odom, Turiaf & Jamal though he was a bit off today. Defensively the second group was just something else- getting steals, faster to the loose balls and getting all the rebounds.

Blake another strong game, especially in the first quarter. The Raptors kind of neutralized him and CP3 down after the first quarter, so the team might want to look at film and see if there can be some adjustments made there when opponents clog the middle like that.

Yeah the ZERO turnover was the most impressive- you know he's gonna score, get the steals, assists, rebounds, blocks. But no turnover in almost 20 minutes showed that he was under control. +21 in the +/- # too- the best of anyone today.

Well, when they interviewed Pac man he said that he got too careless. Despite this loss. Marquez only won the most recent one, but Pac man has won three. This was just a night that Manny got caught with a good shot. I would still love to see Floyd vs. Pac man.

Well, Marquez finally beat Manny, but it took him four tries to do it. Since Manny beat Marquez three other times (dont believe the first was a draw) I have to say the overall series is clearly in Manny's favor.

That's only if you believe the judges' cards. A lot of critics believe Marquez won the 2 of the 3 before last night. I believe that to be the case.

Props to Marquez man... He knows PacMan so well. And that punch was no lucky punch, He's been practicing that same counter punch. Its on youtube. Obviously I'm not happy cos my guy lost but it was a good fight nonetheless. Something Floyd won't give... I know his style works but its boring as hell.

When I saw that nasty counter I knew it was over. Perfect timing and Pacman didn't even see it coming. The worst punch is a punch you never see. You have no time to prepare for it.

That punch would have knocked out anyone around that weight division.

We rely too much on our bench. Starters better not pull this **** on the road or we'll come back 14-10 roll

lol @ L-O missing all those 3's at the end.

BTW glad to see Pacman finally feel the pwnage. 8)

If you've been a boxing fan for a while you know how that goes. Despite what us fans believe the judges seal the boxers fate (the judges are human and can make the wrong call, even though i dont believe that to be the case in Marquez vs. Pacqiau). I've seen countless of fights be given to fighters that most felt didnt deserve the victory. Some notable controversial ones are Chavez vs. Whittaker, De La Hoya vs. Mosely 2, and even recently Bradley vs Pacqiau. Its the difficulty of boxing.

As a Mexican American i had a lot of pride watching Marquez, Barrera, and Morales dominate those lighter weights. Then Manny paves a road to immortality and takes down all of the greats from Mexico. It was hard to see, but I have to give Manny props he beat all those three, and despite this last fight Marquez is still 1-2-1 against Manny, not favorable odds. In the total history Manny has that rivalry won. At best Marquez can hope for another victory and he will only come out even against Manny.

Yup, that wasn't a lucky punch at all. Marquez does deserve the praise. However, I still think too much was on Manny's mind, but then again he should have been prepared for this fight and that loss was a result of him thinking past this fight. I'm sure after that fight he knows to have only boxing on his mind first and foremost.

As you pointed out though its a shame Floyd never set aside his games and took the fight. He has always pulled stunts like that.

That was an important weekend. They took care of business that's all that matters. Those are not easy games to win. Back to back Noon games. Definition of trap games. We got through it. The bench is just ridiculous. Especially this game against the Raps. This was a tough back and forth game and Bledsoe/Jamal and company damn near shut them out in the 4th.

I'm so impressed with this team. Hope they can keep the fire this week. Toughest game of the month tomorrow.
