Thats the thing we sacrifice perimeter defense to improve our interior D.

This. Far from perfect, but still a nice road win. Time to get 8 tomorrow.

despite a seven game win streak we are still in fourth. With a west this competitive that four game losing streak was more detrimental than many played it down to be. What I honestly believe is that its not these hot winning streaks that will keep us in the top three but limiting the losing to one game among some wins and preventing a loss from spiraling into four or more like this team has shown to do. As you mentioned the west is too tough for margin of error. We need one of the top three spots.

Even though they shot 50% behind the 3 point arc, we held them to 40.2% overall...that's a very good sign.

Paul seems to be in a mini-slump for assists, it seems. We gotta give the Bulls some credit though. They are a great defensive team and it showed. We still won.

Another HUGE Win!!! Team victory but Blake was so damn good tonight. Game ball for sure. Love the toughness and will to win from the whole team.

Trap game tomorrow. I hope Billups decides to give it a go in Charlotte. This is a game we could use his leadership to make sure the inevitable let down doesn't result in a loss.

Not a pretty game, but the guys got the job done. A bit too sloppy and too many open 3's for the Bulls, but good games by Blake, Barnes, Crawford & Bledsoe helped pave the win for the win. CP3 had a sub-par game by his standards on offense, but he did make that key hoop in the lane towards the end. Chris was very good defensively, on the hand. Willie Green and Ronnie Turiaf pretty much had their worse games of the season.

It was interesting that Odom got the call over DJ down the stretch. I think mainly it was to enable quicker close-outs towards shooters, and to facilitate switches on defense, but the rebounding did suffer. Lamar did make that terrific alley-oop to Blake to help seal the game.

It was definitely disappointing to see the guys let the Bulls have a chance after it was 89-80. But hey, an ugly road win in Chicago is still a big W!

If being in 4th place means we play gsw, then I'm all for it. As long as we don't face one of the bruiser team like Memphis on the 1st round where our players came out wounded then I'm fine with it . Health>seeding

i wouldnt count that guy out. he can give dj problems due to his shooting ability. however, lets hope dj focuses and doesnt let him shoot. they are a slashing type of team, so dj will be key in defending the paint.

Your behavior is hater like...don't be angry at me just because I can see things from a different point of view

Nah, I ain't hating on you. I ain't even angry. I just said I was happy we won 7 straight and you came in trying to talk about something irrelevant right now as if trying to diminish the accomplishment. I said it wasn't fair of you to try and correlate the two things. If that merits you to call me a hater, so be it.

Take a chill pill Bill, you were the one that seemed to have a problem with my point of view.

You made an incorrect assumption about my original posting...my intent was not to diminish the accomplishment. All of us here bleed red, white, and blue. My intent was to show that there are some issues with the coaching despite the win and could come back to haunt us come playoff time which is when things really matter. Chris Paul leaving the Clippers is not irrelevant and that is exactly what can happen if we don't win THIS year. I apologize for not sharing the views as yourself.

our record against GSW is not good. all teams kill us from beyond the arc and golden state loves that high offense up tempo three point game that kills us. Check out our record against them in the past three years...we dont really want to face these guys in round one we would be better off against denver, utah, or dallas

Huge win, after 6 in a row, and first game on the road trip, the old clippers lose this game. But that is how great this clip team is, to grind out an ugly win is fantastic, no matter who is struggling, someone picks it up.......
