Warriors lose to the Magic! They play the Hawks tomorrow on a back 2 back. We need to win tomorrow and keep the streak alive and separate ourselves in the Pacific.

Also this is the toughest team we will face on this trip IMO...need to focus and stop BJ and ME....Bledsoe should start and be on BJ the entire game. Kid can go off.

If he's going to start against anybody it's this team. Either way, he'll get serious minutes.

WE got this.

it'll be a tough game. ellis and jennings can be streaky but if they happen to be on a good streak tomorrow, they can blow open a huge lead very quickly.

This is a chance for the Clippers to break their longest winning streak record... And then don't lose a game in the next 24 games so we can break the all time record and rub it in the Lakers face.

We're the 3rd seed now. We have a 1 game lead on Memphis and 1-1/2 on GS.

The Grizz play the Jazz tomorrow in Utah and the Warriors play the Hawks in the ATL.

Tomorrow is a must win!!!!!!

Spurs, Memphis and Golden State are all slipping up... this is a great opportunity to consolidate our position and give us a cushion for the tougher stretches ahead.

Bucks are no pushover. It'll take a strong performance to win this one.

I wonder if the Spurs Forums are going crazy about losing 2 in a row. How about them Grizzlies? Losing 3 in a row with a possible chance to make it 4 today? GS losing twice to the lowly Magic? I am sure the forums are going crazy about firing their coaches right about now. lol

We're the second hottest team and doing this on the road and some here want to fire the coach? Gotta love the fact that 82-0, Clippersam, and some others haven't been popping up lately.

wink

if there ever was a time Vinny needed to make an adjustment it would be this game by giving Bledsoe heavy time on the court and even consider starting him. The speed and quickness of Brandon and Monta will be a problem all game and those guys take a ton of shots so they will go right at Willie Green and Chris Paul will have to step it up on his man defense.

The drive and kick will be there all night with those two we have to be a much more physical team to handle the beat down tactics of Skiles.

^ id actually would put ebled in much earlier. maybe at the 5 minute mark of the 1st quarter. then when paul sits, bring in crawford. clips need to guard the 3 and stop penetration into the paint.

Will be a tough matchup. Sanders is an elite defense PF that sits low to the ground and will give Griffin issues. Their backcourt is absolutely going to demolish Willie Green. The only way our backcourt wins this battle is if Vinny is smart enough to put Bledsoe on Ellis/Jennings most of the game but he's not quite that smart.

Joe... bottom line is this is an IDEAL matchup for Bledsoe against a 6'2 and 6'3 backcourt yet I guarantee you we will be VERY lucky to see him 20 minutes. This is the type of backcourt Bledsoe should dominate with his defense.

But the Grizz are playing in Utah so if I had the choice, I'd rather the Grizz lose than GS. We play GS twice in the first week of the New Year so that can be fixed then.

Joe not sure why you've returned to the Devil's Advocate thing but Willie Green has been atrocious lately getting burned left and right and making dozens of errors a game. I remember Vinny said it's all about matchups and just feel Green is a terrible idea against this lightning fast, explosive backcourt. Bledsoe for defense should be in... if not him Barnes or Crawford.

Not playing devil's advocate. That would mean you have a valid argument and I am just taking the counter argument to stir the pot. In my opinion, you don't have any valid argument. The winning streak basically nullifies any you've said.

We are winning but that doesn't mean you can't tweak things or improve on things by any means. The key to sustaining winning is making adjustments before teams catch on and improving. No need to make it more difficult than it needs to be. Barnes, Bledsoe and Crawford have all been exponentially better than Green this year. Hell start Barnes at SG and I wouldn't say a word because at least he plays D and rebounds.
