I just came in to post about the defense. It's been on point all night. The on-the-ball pressure has been especially good. And as usual, a total team effort.

Not good. Odom complaining about being pulled, DJ telling him to calm down. At least that's what it looked like.

What a beautifully played game, we came out and played tough defense in the second half. we are playing like we want to win a title, and I love it.

this is a huge development. Following the first two games of our winning streak we have essentially locked down on that defficiency. This is exactly the kind of effort that we needed. Im glad vinny has been able to correct this problem, great job by vinny and the team

Nice win- the guys played very good defense in general- not allowing any chance for the Hornets getting into a comfort zone early hitting open shots. For the most part the rotations were good and the individual defense was sharp- guys were moving their feet well. Congrats to CP3 on the 5000 assists- he joins some elite company indeed. Another very good game by CP. Blake, DJ (other than too many 3 second calls), Jamal & Barnes were excellent as well. If there was any complaint, the second unit was kind of sloppy and looked disjointed the final 5 minutes or so.

Dangerous game coming up Friday vs the Kings- let's see if the guys can keep their defensive focus and get #12 in the row!

This is hilarious.

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Clippers' franchise record-tying 11th consecutive victory had owner Donald Sterling leading a "hip, hip hooray" chant in the locker room.

Sterling grabbed the hand of coach Vinny Del Negro and held it up, exhorting his team, "Let's hear it for the coach." Then he told Del Negro, "Vinny, give me a hug" and the two men embraced.

"Eleven in a row. Not bad, is it?" Sterling said.

I couldn't imagine the awkwardness. haha.

Give the man a break, he can't enjoy the team's success when he's paying the bills? Plus he hasn't done anything that bad in these LAST 2 years since we got CP3, has he?

Great game. I was sitting a couple of rows behind the bench and it was like a party down there. I ended up standing for half the game just to see over Trey, Ronny and DJ.

This team is tight.

DJ anchored the defense brilliantly... watching the play develop and barking orders from the paint, although he had a hard time keeping up with Lopez. I was kind of concerned with how Vasquez was blowing by CP3 early on, but the help was ALWAYS there and when they started pressing him with a double team, the remaining 3 guys covered the other 4 extremely well.

This is the 'D' that's going to take us places we've never been!

Great moment when CP3 got to 5,000. Donald loved it. He looked like a kid on Christmas morning all game long. I'm convinced he'll pay whatever he has to for this team's success.

The players probably thought it was cute for this night. It was a milestone, at least their owner is there and engaged and understands it meant something. But I agree with you. I hope Sterling is as invisible as possible until CP3 signs the extension. He's pretty much the only one that can screw this up.

^ Sounds like he's keeping a pretty low profile for the most part...

"It was the first time Sterling has entered the Clippers' locker room this season and the first time many of the new players on the team had even met him. As Jamal Crawford tied his shoes, Sterling walked up to him and said, "I love watching you shoot. When you shoot, everyone is quiet. I love it." "

^^^ I have the impression that it is pretty much impossible for anyone to have an interaction with DTS that isn't awkward on some level.

my favorite part of last nights game was Blake's tenacious defense on Vasquez ( not too sure if it was him, but i think it was). Blake just smothered him.

Hope it continues. This quote to Jamal is great. But it's easy to be cool when we can't be beaten...I just hope he stays away later in the season when we finally lose a few games...

Congrats on the awesome seats last night buddy! I never sat that close to the bench before, I bet it was amazing!

^ Yeah, I've been down that low before, but always on the opposite side (sec. 110). I have to say, section 119 is a slightly worse view because Vinny and the players are always standing up, but being that close to them really makes you feel part of the action.
