Neither DJ or Bledsoe looked good at all today. Bledsoe wasn't able to get out on the break and excel like he usually does, and if he did get out on a break, the suns played him extremely well.
DJ was just terrible. His post moves were slow and stupid and he was get missing easy layups as well. He played poorly against the Kings as well the other night. It may sound weird, but I think DJ is getting crushed by the pressure of Blake's dominance. Blake has been absolutely dominant in the past couple of games, and he's been sure to assert his superiority early in games. Maybe DJ just isn't able to keep up right now for whatever reason. Whatever the reason, I'm sure he'll get out of his slump soon. We don't actually need him to be a scoring threat, but it's good to have that threat there.
Also it's good to get a view of how dominant we can be when JC is hitting his shots. We've done this streak with Jamal shooting under 40% for the majority of the streak. Seeing him shoot the way we all know he can really shows that there's a whole extra gear that this team can shift into. And this is all still without Billups and Hill.
