What are some of your concerns about this team going forward?

I'm pretty concerned about our schedule with us having 5 back to backs in January all against pretty tough teams. We've gotten a lot of our easy games out of the way during this win streak which means the schedule will be pretty tough for us for the most part going forward.

My other concern is DeAndre Jordan. He's seemingly regressed a bit offensively when it comes to decision making. He has plenty of post moves, and a very good ability to score, but he still has a tendency to get stripped down low by opposing bigs when he makes weak/stupid moves trying to score. I'm sure he'll get it together eventually but until then we'll have to keep an eye on him.

Also concerned a bit by Bledsoe's decision making. He's been making a lot of really bad decisions in the past couple of games racking up a ton of turnovers. Luckily he's so good defensively, he's almost able to make up for those mistakes by getting a steal or a block. Still, I'd prefer if he limited the turnovers

What issues do you guys see with the team?? Things we need to work on going forward?

To be honest I'm gonna enjoy these back to back games. Those game should show us where we stand as far as being elite... second I feel that DJ had to take a step back with Barnes and Odom taking more offensive touches away and its turned out good...third bedsoe is still young bottom line hell get even better with time

No. I just wanted to voice some of my concerns with the team and see the concerns of others...?

It seems like Bledsoe hasn't been himself ever since he had that fall landing on his hip. I forgot which game it was though.

I forgot which game it was too. I know it was a blow out win but Can't remember which because there's been so many of those.

I believe it was during the blowout in Milwaukee around the 4th qtr. IMO, he does seem a bit hesitant at times.

My concern is that the NBA is rigged against us. Tonight the guys travelled to altitude and played with less than a 24 hour turnaround.

Between now and when we face the lakers on friday, we play 3 games and they play one. Those 3 teams are Utah, Denver and the Dubs... up-tempo, wear-you-out teams.

All I can say is that without that advantage for them it wouldn't even be competitive, but with our athleticism and Vinny's minute-management we'll still be ready for them.

Should be an epic game... but it's kinda funny how the result will matter little for us, but for them it'll be huge.

How the tables have turned.

I wonder how healthy Billups and Hill are? This would be the perfect time for them to come back. They can take up some minutes in this heavy loaded stretch and help ease the burden. Billups can spell both guard spots. Hill can spell both wing spots. Add in Hollins who can spell both interior spots. This would be the ideal time to showcase our depth.

This is valid but what we hope for is something like last night. The game in Staples was won by the bench and the starters got a lot of rest (this has happened i think I heard at least 8 times during the streak). Last night on the road the bench was pretty bad at times,,but the starters pulled the game out from the brink.

If they can play that way in the back to backs in January they may be okay. Basically us having two groups of starters should help.

^ And if the Fakers pull that one out of their arses, we will have to listen to their bull crap for months.

im concerned with the officiating, particularly come friday night versus the flakers. im positive they will try to influence the outcome, especially if the clips go in there with a 19 game winning streak.

Hopefully the Clippers can keep the fouls down, but unfortunately this has been a problem for the guys since last season. We're ranked high or low, depending how you look at it, again this year.

Pretty standard operation with that one,,you know they will get all the calls but look at last night,,who got call after call,,but who got pissed and willed a win? that is what I will expect.

Actually it turned out pretty even in the end with the Clipps taking 41 FTA's to the Jazz 40.

My only concern is that we start getting lazy and unfocused....forget how we've played defense, etc. I'm hopeful that, other than a few games here and there, that won't happen.

It terms of continuing the streak, I think the big test will be taking out the Nuggets and Golden State back to back in their houses. If we can get past that, I think we might actually break the Celtics record.

Beyond that, because the streak doesn't really mean that much, but it is fun, I think the big thing is get Billups healthy and put Green back on the bench waiving the towel as soon as possible. That will be my #1 New Year's wish.

my concerns are these: i hope vinny doesn't "over work" any of our starters like last year, just to get a win. he will make a rotation mistake eventially that might cost us a game, but....

So far the starters are averaging 26.6 mins per game, the least amount in the league thanks to our #1 bench play...and it'll only get better when the team is at full strength.

This will be our best season by far in regards to W/L, but how we progress in the PO's is the real measuring stick on how good this team really is.

We'll find out soon enough, but till then just enjoy the ride.

^based on our "incredibles", our bench that is, we have the most versatile and un-game-plan-able team for opposing coaches to plan for in a game. we've already seen how vinny and his staff have....

You know for me its not the officiating. Im much more worried about coming into the Lakers game with this huge win streak. Win streaks take a toll, and the pressure builds up. The lakers are going to hit us with everything they got, and they would love to do a few things against us: beat us and even out the series 1-1, beat us and go down as the team that ended the longest NBA streak this season, and beat us to knock us down to the second spot in the west (assuming OKC continues to also keep pace and win that is).

Im more worride that our guys will be exhausted going into that game, and I dont want to lose against the Lakers

I've seriously been thinking about doing an analysis of the NBA's scheduling for over the past 5 years or so and see what it looks like. Every year the schedules are tilted to the Lakers' advantage. This year is no different. Most teams have 20+ back to backs this season (we have 21)...The Lakers have 16. That is a HUGE advantage for them. If you look deeper it's even worse, damn near all of their back to backs are short trips with the 2nd opponent being a terrible team.

This particular game has obviously been tilted to their advantage with our rigorous travel and road games against tough teams and them sitting around L.A. drinking their Metamucil and making sure there's plenty of fiber in their bodies for the brittle old bones they're carrying.

Undoubtedly, especially if we're going for #20, the officiating will be an insult. The consolation is that we're that much better than them...We're capable to beat the fix. Whether it happens or not, the team has the talent to beat the Lakers and the crooked league as well.

I don't ever want to lose but if we're going to lose one, I'd prefer to lose in Denver and come in hungry on Friday and make sure to tear them up.

i dont think the guys are looking at the streak, that is why they keep on winning. the officiating is concerning, because as we have seen in the last 2 games versus the jazz, their calls are influencing how we play. the clips cant play d without any touch fouls being called on us, yet the jazz can play physical without anything being called. just imagine what will happen friday versus the nba's favorite team in the flakers. im sure if the clips breathe on kobe and nash, they will both shoot 20 ft's combined. but im certain the clips have too many weapons for the flakers to deal with. and yes, im worried about the first back to back with the game at denver and then at gsw.

@bullterrierclippsfan1349, im going to have to pay close attention to the calls. I hope there isnt some kind of bias in regards to the officials calls, but anything is possible. The golden state game will be very important. Not so much for ending the winning streak but golden state is an opponent we havent done well against recently and we do need to figure out some way to beat them.

hypothetically speaking we shouldn't have a problem winning all the games this week. Griffin, paul, jprdan, amd all the starters have only been playing about 30-32 minutes per game. In contrast, the lakers starters kobe, nash, and dwight have been logging 40+ minutes. Vinnys management of minutes will be crucial, but he has done well so far. I think the ultimate determining factor will be if the players can will these wins

Hypothetically speaking we should have "a problem winning" against Denver in Denver? GSW at GSW after having played Denver the night before? What hypothetical world do you live in where these games should be "no problem winning"?

All the talk especially coming from TJ Simmers about the streak ending and that the biggest challenge is the Lakers. Are these people even watching the NBA this season? I like the streak as much as anything but I am with the Clipper players on this one, "it's nice but really they don't pay much attention to it". The only thing they care about right now is improving and getting to the level that all of us know that they can get to, they are not there yet. Who cares about a sub to .500 team? The real challenge is against the Nuggets and GSW x2. No matter who GSW has they always give the Clips problems and an away game in their building on a back to back road games presents the Clips biggest challenge. And against GSW is the biggest challenge to them, I don't think the Clips will be thinking about the streak and will be ready to exact revenge on the home loss they suffered to them in the beginning of season, in addition they are in second place and they know its critical to destroy any confidence of them taking the Pacific.
