Just saw that too,,, speculation is drug overdose but no one is talking yet. Happened in Malibu at a beach house. I thought it was DTS too at first when all I heard was Sterling is dead. Then I heard the blurb about it being his son.

RIP son of the Don.

Can't imagine what DTS is going through right now.

There are more than a few players on the team that has sons, so will the team get this one for the Donald?

I've never been tight with any of these ultra-rich L.A. people but I would imagine that it is extremely lonely. Can't ever trust anyone. Never know if a person really cares about you or if they are just attracted to the money.

Being rich like the Sterling's is not all it's cracked up to be. I'd love to have some of their money but the kind of lives these people live, it's all fake. It's all one big fund raiser. Never a real moment. I'm never surprised when stuff like this happens.

It's a shame though, too bad for Donald and his family.

Regardless of what anyone feels of Donald Sterling the man is a human being (even if some dont think so) and no one deserves this. This is extremely sad and it is eerie that something like this would happen the year his team is having its best and most dominating year ever. His son probably struggled with his disease for years...but what are the odds he succumbs to it this year? Crazy and really really sad stuff.

I wonder if Ralph and Mike will have a piece on it or have some stuff to say about it? I noticed whenever someone passes away due to drug abuse they hardly give it the coverage as if it is taboo because of how they passed away. Also, I hope we win Friday for Donald. And the crowd chants his name or something or we show him some kind of support on Friday...I would probably get teary eyed. For all everyone thinks of the man, he has invested the most this year emotionally in his team and for the first time regardless of the reasons it seems he cares...also it seems for the first time ever he needs to be embraced and needs the support of Clipper Nation.

Sad

Chris Paul ‏@CP3

Please keep our owner Donald Sterling and his wife Shelly and their family in your prayers as they lost their son Scott

Nice of CP to show his support like that.

RIP Scott Sterlings.

Everyone have an opinion on Donald Sterling but it shouldn't be the same opinion on his son. I'm sure Donald is in mourning right now and it'll be great if we could pay some respect to Donald and his sons. Hope they all be well.

R.I.P. Scott Sterling

I hope the media doesn't add an asterisk to his death. It seems like anytime someone dies of a drug related cause the media always writes it off. The Donald has done right by this franchise in recent years so I think its time Clipper Nation sends its support.

I'm getting reports and rumors that the Clippers are going to wear an elastic band around their biceps to honor Scott when they face the Golden State Warriors tonight. Might extend to the Lakers game on Friday. Any news on that?

this has to be hard.... how can you enjoy the game knowing your son just pasted away. SMH this sux. I pray peace over the Sterlings.

But it would be awesome to see the clippers do something to remember DTS' son during the game of on their jerseys or something.

Laker fans can't even refrain from Clipper jokes about this. Look at their idiot admin celebrating it. I'm not talking about a regular poster there. It's an ADMIN, FFS!

Condolences to the Sterling family RIP Scott Sterling

it is sad. i also thought how weird that the losing streak ended on 17 on new years and he passed away in his room number 107 around new years.
