The article forgot to mention that Laker fans still bitch about the CP3 trade and Stern gifted him to us. Do thy not realize that we lost two quality players and a young prospect + an unprotected draft pick? They also forget that they had a chance to re-negotiate the trade.

^ I am part of an online Dodger board that has a tab for the NBA and a sub tab for the Fakers and they whine about the CP3 trade more then anything. Do they realize that in an interview CP3 did state that they were never on his radar and he never wanted to play with them? Guess not.

Yeah, and who would the Lakers have lost? Two aging players in Gasol and Odom? GTFO, Laker fans. We pretty much gave up players that have still yet to hit their prime while they would've only lost players on their way down.

No kidding. They have a chance to redo it and add young players, but Clippers did no fault. They package a better deal and we got it. It's not like that Pau Gasol trade where its definitely one side to Lakers. Can we say Stern gift wrap to them as well?

This is one of the best articles I have ever read. Laker fans must really hate Markazi now. And the funny thing is he is not even being pro Clippers or anything all he is doing is stating FACTS, but Laker fans are ignorant and usually dont live in the realm of reality.

Of course they do. It's easier to whine and blame their current standing of 11th best in the west to a failed CP3 trade rather than the fact that they have an old point guard, old small forward, underachieving bench, and no future first round picks for a long time. Even CP3 wouldnt have fixed all the ill over there, and then also hasnt every one noticed that players tend to play better once they leave the lakers? Case in point barnes.

They need to realize that they never had chris paul for one second, the owner of the Hornets did not sign off on it, and even when Stern rejected the deal they had a chance to renegotiate the deal but could, and that all stems from the fact that the Lakers have always pulled off trades that completely screw other teams they take players from, Stern was no idiot and didnt want to damn the Hornets. History is vindicating his decision as the Hornets got the best player in the draft (Davis), Austin Rivers, Al Farouq Aminu, and Eric Gordon.
