Dude got his bone bruise a month or two before Hill yet Hill is back this week and haven't heard a peep out of when he will return? It's almost like dude enjoys being a cheerleader too much and is milking it. He's constantly jumping and dancing on the sidelines in a suit so what gives? I want us to develop this guy because I think any young player with upside like him can improve tremendously with the vets we have.

If he can develop into a Channing Frye type... he will be a huge young asset for us.

Well I don't mind him fully resting I mean I want him to come back 100%. He wont get much playing time at the 4 anyways behind griffin odom and turiaf. With a guy like Trey you want him fully healthy especially for a young big man. He can prove to be very good in a year or two with the help of Odom.

They should put him in the d-league! Tbh he got the luckiest job earning at least 6 figures a year sitting down front row and cheering. He's probably the highest paid cheer leader in the league

what i want to know is two fold; what is his prognosis healthwise, and is the front office really going to keep him as a back up for blake in the years to come? or does he realize that he may be trade bait? i'd like to ask this to his agent with a no b.s. answer.

trey thompkins is being surrounded by veteran experience, a winning squad, and is learning a buttload even though he's out right now. he's gonna be valuable piece when he gets his opportunity.

I cant believe any of you guys really thought a second player was going to get any playing time on a team this loaded. Hopefully he should be hitting the gym hard and putting on tons of muscle.

Let me add this, at least trey is professional unlike that drama queen Royce White. Men that guy is such a twitter drama queen. White is basically getting paid to b1tch and whine

Royce White is just throwing away millions. No other team will give him a second chance. He is done. He has no way of making any money. He is to afraid to get on a plane so their goes Europe and he seems to think its beneath him to play in the D League

I think Trey is being kept on the DNP injury list by the Clippers staff, not due to remaining injury.

Trey won't be seeing any minutes at all once Hill and Billups are back. And the fact that we are the #1 team in the NBA doesn't help his cause. Bledsoe is the only guy that should see an increase in playing time.

he hyperextended his knee in summer league. one report says he hyperextended it. another says he has a bone bruise. regardless, he could develop into a channing frye type of player

I agree, send him to the D-League. For a young guy who sits on the bench all the time, it might ruin his development.

I enjoy his cheering on the bench he's always into the game. He's learning a lot being around a winning group like this but I hope to see him out there soon hitting those jumpers! Get well Trey.

Have you seen Trey? His cheerleading was one of the reason Clippers went on a 17 games win streak and beat those Lakers and Warriors. He's the man!

I Agree. The way Royce attacks the Houston front office on his Twitter account is beyond me. What's more beyond me is Houston taking his crap. I'm glad they suspended him. If you can't fly, then you can't play in the NBA. There. Said it. Done. Get a regular job like the rest of us.

He won't play this year unless someone goes down. It's probable he will be moved at the draft next year for a number 2.

I like him, he reminds me of lamarcus Aldridge, not in the sense of talent but the body type and how he extends when he shoots, he has a nice jumpshot and if he ever gets playing time he could be like a more athletic frye also i notice when he was in, in those garbage minutes last season, he showed a lot potential to be a good post player and a good passer, and a decent shooter of course

Hope Trey gets well. I disagree with those that say he wont get minutes. There is no doubt in my mind that we will have more blow out games this season that even our guys at the end of the bench will get minutes.

The thing about Trey's game I liked in seasons past is his shot and that he wasn't afraid to throw up an open shot. I think he will end up being a decent shooter for us.

That's not a fair statement. You havent seen him play and you are not going to see him play (unless we have alot of injuries).

Needs to get back into the game he could be getting blowout time on the floor. we only have 11 players active so if he suits up he could play scrap time

Luckiest man in America. He gets paid $762,195 to sit courtside at every home and away game. I pay $2,200 to sit in the rafters at all home games. LOL

With three guys on our inactive list every game (CP replaced GH in the past two games), we've been beating the rest of the league with an 11-man roster? LOL.
