Great Win 2nite and good coaching by Vinny, and glad to see Dj with the second unit. Stay Fluid.

Looking at the boxscore, it is incredibly well-rounded.

Even more reason why I get offended when people say CP3 makes our team or carries our team. Even without CP3 we have the talent and depth to be a mid playoff seed in the cutthroat west. Is he our best player? No question. Does it mean he doesn't have a great team around him? No. CP3 gets all the credit for the turnaround but people forget Blake was the guy who got the ball rolling, CP3 took it over the top. In other words I love CP3 but this is a great TEAM.

Thats definitely true this season though I am not sure if we could have said that last season. CP3 or not this team is a great defensive team but without CP3 I think we would be sort of like the Grizzlies. Great defensively but average offensively so around 4th-6th in the West.

To be fair though CP3 did recruit Barnes and was the first to meet up with Crawford. He had a part in pretty much all of our off season acquisitions and helped change the culture of the Clippers. So its not only necessarily his contributions on the court. Would we have recruited Barnes if it was not for CP3? I am not sure.

I agree CP3 pretty much makes the offense go. I also agree we would be similar to the Grizzlies without him, but deeper. It's also true CP3 assembled this team himself for the most part.

Bled is gonna come up big during these games that Chris is out. I think he comes in without focus some nights but knowing full well he's gonna start and have no real back up..he's just usually very good when we need him most.

If I was Jeremy Lin, I'd be shittin bricks right now. That guys is a turnover machine on a normal night. He better hope Bled gets himself in foul trouble. If not, even the people in China will be taking back their All star votes.

I think it'll be a decent game tomorrow, just because we'll be a little tired. And Harden will do some damage. But if we bring the defensive energy tomorrow night like it was tonight, we smoke that team and embarrass their PG in the process.

What game, tonight. Can't wait for them to carry this momentum into tomorrow's game.

Saw some of the posts- I just want to point out what the definition of "member-trolling" is. It is a pattern of a specific member consistently making disrespectful remarks towards another specific member. The remarks may not be outright personal attacks, but they are snide and unfriendly comments aimed at aggravating another member. Consistently doing that is against the rules. If you want to engage in that stuff, then you are not welcome here, but if you want to talk Clippers basketball instead, then it's all good.

Thanks guys!

Didn't even think about that! I agree Lin the turnover machine is in for hell against Bledsoe.

I was working so I didn't get a chance to follow the game. But I was, frankly, stunned we blew them out. I did see we took the lead by the end of the first quarter. BG had 8 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Looked like he was going to have another monster game like against Orlando...when I saw the Clippers dominated the whole game I couldn't believe BG ended with only 10 points. He did lead the team in assists with five, but I guess they didn't really need his offense the rest of the way. lol

''That's why I said before the game that they're the best team in the West, maybe the best team in the league right now,'' Memphis coach Lionel Hollins said of the Clippers.

Bam.

2 bogus fouls in a 20 second span sent him to the bench for a long time and his rhythm was off afterwards.

That loss vs the Magic counts as 2. They got blasted by 29 by the Izards! Come on now. That's just unacceptable.

That's my Clips!

Leading candidate for MVP out, dominant PF hindered by foul trouble, but the whole team stepped up.

Don't underestimate what this will do for the guys' confidence. We absolutely squashed a team that should have dominated in their own house.

No let up for tomorrow. The way CP3 was limping, we're not going to see him for a while.

Also: We now have as many wins in less than half a season as we did 2 seasons ago in 82 games (Blake's rookie year).

This is a bad muthafuckin' team!

Vinny had a scorcher tonight... a few little decisions he made contributed to it being an EASY win.

Yes, we'd still have won... but it could have been a grind-out. For everything he did wrong on Saturday, he looked like an elite coach tonight. Those couple of points here and there helped rest our guys and helped the bench play with confidence.

Hollins was dumbstruck.

All I know is that Dain was an Olympic gold medalist in beach volleyball. Don't know where he is now, though. For some reason, I don't like Michael Eaves.

^Didn't read the above posts before I posted that. But great game overall- I dislike Memphis (A LOT) and loved blowing them out without our best player. I was hoping we'd snap their streak of keeping teams under 100 as well... We were 1 point short. I was thinking if they want a rivalry we can show them how pathetic they are. Go to their home court, dominate and take everything, break all their streaks, and get out. Perfect way to shut up the Grizzlies fans that know absolutely nothing and are just angry at the Clippers because their team hates us (I wonder why).

In the past, you could easily remember how many nationally televised games the Clippers had in a season. But now it seems like we're on TNT or ESPN every week. What is going on???!!!

Well, I was expecting an ugly loss, but I'm pleasantly surprised at how the rest of the team stepped up in CP3's absence. This game should honestly IMPROVE CP3's MVP chances because it shows how his leadership and basketball IQ has rubbed off on the rest of this team, even when he didn't play.

It looks like last night was a very important game. Not just because we won against a rival, but also because Vinny finally made these guys bounce back after a loss. 86 was right about his concerns going into this game, we did have a reputation for losing in streaks, but not last night. It looks like Vinny has finally convinced me. MY final reservation was to see if he could isolate a loss to simply one and he did. Great job by everyone on the team, especially Bledsoe, whose numbers werent huge, but the most important number he had was 0 turnovers.

The few games without CP3 will be benefical in many ways. This will give Bledsoe some time to run the point and get familiar with the starters. This will come in extrememly handy if dare I say CP3 doesnt resign with us. However, if CP3 does resign these few games Bledsoe played should showcase his talents and give us a kngs ransom for him. Either way this time without CP3 looks like it may reap some benefits

Thompkins is a guy I wish would see some playing time. We need to assess if the guy can play to evaluate what his role will be on this team. If he can play the small forward and is any good he may have a bright future on this squad.

The Clippers are not as talented as the Heat, but they are tougher. Like it or not, the Clips have proved they are the grit and grind of the NBA.

I love the Grizz, but facts are facts. They stomped us and rubbed our faces in it. They broke our will.

I took mercy on the "city" of Memphis and didn't comment on the article of their esteemed writer Goof Cockins like I usually do after we embarrass them. With comments like this from their fans, there's not much more to say.

Pretty sure the coach has him on the permanent injury list. Why he won't send him to the D-league, I do not know.

At the very least we need to get him on the court to prove he's a decent player. It's likely he'll be in the trade talks about Bled this summer. We at least need to pump up his value before the end of the regular season.

Seriously a 21 year old with a bruised knee should not be out for 6 months. Its' crazy. Just activate him even if we have too much depth to give him a uniform. Just at least show the league he's recovered.

I like Michael Eaves okay but not as much as I liked Danton. I was talking about that chubby white dude with the spiky hair though... he's an idiot. Last night Bledsoe said something in the post game interview... and he repeated something back to Bledsoe that he never said and Bledsoe had a look like "Uh yea, sure". It made me laugh because the players seem to genuinely think this guy is a weirdo.

Agree. The fact that we don't know his name means he is doing a bad job. He must be cheaper than Dain and to DTS, enough to hire him. Cost to get better players you know.
