if you noticed for the last couple of games blake has completely abandoned his jumper, i dont think he took 1 jump shot in the past 4-5 games, he's become strictly a low post player with no exceptions ....just the way it was meant to be

his numbers are up and he looks more efficient, focus on his offensive game, much better than his .."lets see if im gonna hit this jumper tonight"

gotta credit the coaches on this one!

but i still want him to use that duncanish corner bank

I don't know if he shot any jumpers in the past 3 games or so, but I definitely saw him shoot and hit a couple against Dallas a week ago. His Jumpshot has improved a lot, and I enjoy the thought of him expanding his game and becoming a more versatile player. I can't wait until he starts hitting his jumpshots at a high enough rate, that defenders start biting on pump fakes and he's able to drive and jam on the help defender. Ohhh the nastiness!!!

I've seen him take a couple these past few games but he didn't make any if I recall correctly

I seen him take a couple of jump shots the last couple of games but don't remember how many went in.I like him better in the post but teams are going to try to take that away from him as much as they can so he NEEDS to get his jump shot to be consistent. He has worked a lot on it and gets a lot of good looks but doesn't take the shot.Ralph and Mike talk about it a lot because it's obvious that he isn't as confident as he should be yet.

I agree with the general premise that he was becoming way too much of a jumpshooter and has gotten back to his roots. Now people at least somewhat respect his shot and he can dominate inside.

Actually in the last 3 games he's attempted 15 jumpers from mid to long range including 1-3pt, while making just 33%.

The jump shots don't seem to be falling lately, seems like a confidence issue more than anything

His jump shots have improved, but he still needs more arc in order to consistently make them. Line drive shots just won't cut it unless your name is Kobe Bryant. But I'd rather he focuses more on his jump hooks.

he should just use the fadeway bank shot he has. excellent form on that. hes developing the nice hook shot with the left hand. if he gets that down, the clippers will be unstoppable.

Blake is meant to be the hardest working player on the team. So his J, his left hook and his FT's should all improve.

I hear commentators say all the time that the only way to defend him is to push him out of the paint and force to take the mid range J. I am really looking forward to a time when that J is so consistent that opponents will have to defend it then Blake can wreak absolute havoc. I presume this is why CP3 has been encouraging BG to shoot the J.

Good times people Very Happy

I cringe everytime he takes a jumper even though he seems to make them when he is playing well and is in a rythm ....

Wasn't a mid range shot what made Malone and even Brand so dangerous?

Yeah its just growing pains guys. He's using the season to improve his J. He's not trying to rely on it, he's taking a lot now, trying to make it better. It will be better for him and us in the long term. Just believe in him, and he WILL be a beast in a year or two.

And you can tell he has been working on his flopping with what he pulled in Washington.

Banned. You never came here with an intent to discuss basketball but rather wanting to take shots at the Clippers and argue.

yeah that blake griffin. he should be more likekevin love and throw his entire team under the buss, question the teams direction, and put clout on his future with the team.
