Played 3-on-3 with contact recently, sounds promising. I get the feeling he'll be back in the lineup right after AS break.

It happens when it happens.

We longer time fans know how the Clipper injury bug/timetable works. It's like dog years. A day in Clipperspeak is a week, One week in Clipper speak is a month in our time. A month is 2 months and so on. If they tell us a week for Chauncey, expect 3-4. But I would wager one thing,,he never leaves us. Player, player/coach/coach. His destiny. For those that want Vinny gone (I am not one),,how about giving Billups a try or at least a job?

Even though we need a PG on the floor, I'd let him rest till he's 110%. I'm guessing Paul comes back before Billups does?

Can we trade a 1st rd pick, two 2nd rd picks, and our training staff to the SUNS just for their training staff. PLEASE

Man we are sinking FAST in the standings. Now the Warriors are like 3 games back, Nuggets closely behind. Spurs somehow went from 2 games behind us to 2 games ahead in a week. OKC expanded the gap to 3 games when we had the one seed about two weeks ago. I'm really hating this. Now we have Billups taking his sweet ass time this year when we BADLY need a PG. I mean we could quickly find ourselves as the 4 or 5 seed before we know it.

Not trying to sound like the master of panic here (probably think I am!) but this is why I complain so much about issues that go unfixed. Now we are seeing exactly how they bite you in the ass. When we were winning 17 straight and I noticed things that are now biting us in the ass people thought I was being out of line... but the problems have turned into full blown manifestations.

I have to say, I always kind of doubted Jasen Powell's abilities. Our injuries always seem to linger and whenever a player tweaks an ankle or knee in-game, he examines said joint the way a dentist would examine an ingrown toenail.

Slow down cowboy, the Warriors aren't 3 games back, they're 4.5 games back. The Spurs have been about a game back from us, now they're 1.5 up. Not a huge deal. We don't need #1 seed to win the west.

I think we need top 2 seed. Not only for HCA throughout playoffs until WCF but also just for the growth and confidence of the team. 3rd or lower will feel like a failure, especially because we were at number one for a good 2-3 weeks straight.

Really hope so. After watching the team the last 3 games I'm wondering if we will get exposed badly. I understand we are short... but guys aren't stepping up at all.

^nah. dont worry man. yeah its frustrating to see them lose, especially how they lost to the suns. no excuse to lose like that. we need a collective team effort to beat teams right now. we are missing cp3, but the fundamentals are not being performed from our guys, such as protecting the 3 pt line. plus the clips have had stagnant ball movement in the half court. when they pass the ball and move it quickly, they kill teams. they need to get back to doing that.

As much as I want Billups to return, he is NEVER coming back. It's all lies... He is an assistant coach now. You heard it here first, I'm just throwing it out there. Toilet monster

Nobody will ever care what our record was if we win the chip. These players know success and failure is judged in June not April. The better our final record is, the easier the road to the final goal. That's it, at the end of the season the guys will be thinking about our first round matchup, not feeling devastated about not being the #1 seed.

If we end up the 3rd seed or 4th seed it doesn't make any difference as long as we do well in the POs. We are deep but we have a lot of old players and injury prone players. Everybody knew that, it's a crap shoot. Just like every other team, we're in a bit of a tough spot at the moment. OKC would be screwed if they lost KD or Westbrook. Any team would be hard pressed to keep winning every game without their starting back court. The point is to be playing well and as close to 100% healthy at the end of the season. I'm very confident that this team is on that track.

The only team I've seen not struggle so hard without there star is Chicago. But people say they have no offense without him
