It the same old crap protect the lead offense we run every time. We stop cutting to the basket. We stop feeding it to Blake down low. It's annoying.

I might accept that if we were losing like this with CP. we didnt say crap during that 17 winning streak. As a matter of fact, no one even praised VDN that time

Where are all the Vinny supporters to tell us what a great coach he is? Notice they're all hiding because Vinny's mental retardation just lost us another game.

If this was soccer, we seem to always "park the bus" when we have the lead down the stretch.

Can't wait until Vinny gets us bounced in the second round again. Only way this team will ever be a serious title contender is with a real coach, PERIOD.

I never liked it and its much worse with Crawford. He isn't CP3. His shot selection sucks and he makes so many bone headed plays.

Dropping quickly in the standings. The one thing that gives me some solace is I think our second half of the season will be a little easier than the first. It's been a tough schedule...plus hopefully we'll be at FULL strength.

BOTH Vinny supporters and Vinny haters play hide-and-seek all the time, to be fair.

VDN was a SG in his playing days so i guess it's natural for him to call plays and look at the game from a guard point of view.

Again relying on jumpers and only going to the hoop one time in the last 2 mins.....did the thought of going to Blake and then letting him pass to any shooter open not named Crawford ever come up?

"Some flaws"? He's retarded even in wins. We win in spite of Vinny, and even THAT requires a fully healthy CP3.

game should have never came down to that last play... freezing the ball in Crawford's hands killed the game. the ball movement was working so well.

Think about it, even if we won, our biggest weakness was still exposed. We gave up 11 3's against one of the worst 3-point shooting teams in the league.

Not only was that against a very easy part of the schedule, we had a healthy CP3 and even Chauncey played a couple games. I can't remember a single game-winning coaching decision from Vinny during that whole streak.

BTW, enough with the "CP3 is out" excuses. The Bulls haven't had Rose all year and they still show up and compete every night, and they're still a well-coached ball club.

Even if it was an easy part of the schedule. Rarely a team will win 17 straight and have you watch during the streak, he make some key adjustment which either blow this game open or win the game for them.

But tonight, I'll give VDN his fault, his play decision was horrendous and way too predictable. He must move the ball. I still support the coach and fire VDN will not happen right now.

Good for you. I refuse to support a coach who's basically a non-factor in wins and who loses us winnable games. This team deserves better.

oh, I guess you didn't read the post. I said SLOW. he couldn't run for chase down rebound when it was basically his to lose, and DJ would have had that height advantage for a board when crawford missed the layup. And when did I say Lamar was a major reason that we lost?

Like whose coach doesn't lose winnable games? I bet every coaches who coach the game lose winnable game. You're not being coherent. Also, you don't have to like VDN, but you have to support him somewhat because he's the one steering the ship right now.

Silver lining?

We seemed to step up our defense and brought them down to a lower shooting percentage by the end of the game. We shot 49.4%, they shot 46.7% (not great but better than the way the game started). We even out rebounded them 41 to 32 (doesn't seem like it, but we did).

Unfortunately we had more turnovers than they did 15-14. Paul would normally have made a difference there. They killed us with 3's though shooting 11-25 and we shot 7-16. They also shot 20-21 from the free throw line (I don't even remember them missing one), we shot 13-17.

Nup, not good enough, I said close to 30pts to win, BG was non existent down the stretch, it's like he ran out of ideas on what to do

this team can look so clueless at times like they just all got together to play pickup ball, begs to wonder what they actually do during practice

The yin and yang of Crawford. This is what you get with Jamal the shooter/chucker...our eyes were wide opened when we signed him. No ones to blame...he'll win you some and lose you some.

You will almost NEVER see Popovich, Thibodeau, Sloan, Phil, etc. just throw away games like this with horrific coaching decisions and inability to draw up plays.

I support the players. I refuse to support the braindead, incompetent coach who is squandering their talent and setting them up to fail. Period.

He did all that against Golden State and OKC and we still lost. BG was, like 11-19 tonight. Don't even TRY to blame Blake on this one. They stopped running plays for Blake during our protect-the-lead phase of the game.

VDN definitely blew it tonight. he needs to actually run plays not hold the ball at the top B diddy style. Its fear based playing instead of being aggressive and going for the win, they are playing to not lose.

I'm not saying VDN not afraid of taking risk or Coach Pop. I'm just saying sometimes coach would make a wrong play. That's all.

82-0, if Popovich never lost a game his team had control of, please explain to me this...

bottom line is, in the NBA a lead is NEVER safe. I put more responsibility on players than I do coaches but maybe the same can't be said for you.

I said "almost never." Of course chokejobs happen to every team/coach, but Popovich is still a MILLION times better than Vinny.

Ugh. I don't get it. BG was not just your best offense tonight, but he was our best point guard tonight. Yet Vinny shows no confidence once again to let BG touch the ball in the final possessions of the game. I don't mean to beat up on Vinny because I think he's done a lot of things right this season so far. But he refuses to learn from prior mistakes in the final minutes of the game.

JC is not the one to blame, after all he is coming off the bench, BG should be the one closing the game out for us next to cp3, still yet to have the killer instinct like a Duncan or Barkley who are comparable players

whether that is the fault of himself or the coach I do not know, until he makes that step this will always be a 1 man team

You guys are making the mistake of thinking that the players are even listening to Vinny. I think more often than not they just go do whatever the hell they want, and surprisingly it was working for a while.
