Good win tonight. We are up against weak competition for the next few games but we can still lose if we slack off. We don't even need Paul back for a while. He needs to be at 100%. I can't wait for the game against the Heat and Knicks. Will be fun.

Blake has imposed his will like CRAZY the last 5 or 6 games outside of the TERRIBLE Phoenix game.

And of course Barkley had to call that game.

Of course he has. Barkley never said imposing your will is about rebounds. Its just about being a dominant player. BG has been a dominant player for the most part in this stretch. He has finally stopped settling for jumpers. It would be nice if he rebounded a tad better though.

Barkley knows what he is talking about. He may have been a one way player but he was one of the most dominant offensive players of all time. Crazy versatility and efficiency on the offensive end.

I said a blowout win won't even make me feel better... I lied. Seeing Blake yet again look like he has GOAT PF potential for the 5th or 6th time in the last two weeks... AND blow them out was awesome.

Actually that IS what Barkley said. I know because he kept repeating his crap over and over. He said it's not even about offense, it's about rebounding.

My point is he failed to understand that Blake's assists, steals and overall defense in the last several games (not including the Suns game he was calling at the time) are a way of imposing your will in a game. These are things Barkley was NOT known for.

When was this? I never heard him talk about that kind of stuff. Barkley does not really know what he is talking about a lot of the time. Lets just leave it at that. Btw Barkley actually was a very good passer and a very good ball thief even though his defense overall was mediocre.

Great win tonight. Hopefully that puts us back on the right track.

I'm a little worried about that ref who made the bad call on Butler. I hope his legs don't get broken by whoever paid him to try to break the Clippers spirit.

I'll give you the passing, but his defense was always atrocious. And you can grab an awful lot of rebounds if you're not playing defense.

Barkley was talking all night like he's only watched Blake on highlights. I'm saying he doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to Blake.

I will say this,,after going to countless (well okay you could count them) games this year, and for being one that hates the wave at Dodger stadium,,,,I get the Victory Wave at Staples and I completely endorse this behavior. It is like rubbing it the faces of the other fans there,,and Portland fans deserved this one.

DEFENSE- that was the key tonight. Guys were energized defensively, closing out on shooters, making them drive and then rotating over to prevent the layup. That is the way to defend the 3. Excellent game plan by VDN and execution by the players.

Another great game by Blake- his energy really set the tone. Good job by the guys to keep feeding Blake on offense and he delivered by scoring himself or found the open shooter. The bench did a very good job as well the ENTIRE game. VDN really extended Bledsoe's minutes tonight to make sure that he's in there for several minutes also to help the second unit. E-Bled struggled shooting, but made good contributions in other areas. Caron- a very good game himself on both ends. Lamar- great job rebounding and finding open teammates. And Barnes- very good energy as usual, and made some nice J's tonight as well. Ronnie a very nice game- the best he's had in a while.

Great job by the guys to snap the streak. Hopefully now either CP3 or Chauncey returns Wednesday for the road trip.

That was a mind-boggling call- flat out terrible. This mandate to watch for players "kicking out" is really hurting shooters doing a legitimate shot. Jamal has been a victim of it the entire season- I don't know how many times he's been fouled on a jumper lately and doesn't get a whistle. Guys might have to start shooting heave-shots to prevent getting offensive fouls now on 3's roll

Solid game.

Take that defensive intensity on the road and we'll come back at least 6-2.

Really...sure glad you're not the coach. DJ is better at everything including FT%. Turiaf is a 3rd stringer mainly.

Imposing your will means being the baddest dog in the yard. Kobe imposes his will. Paul imposes his will. Jordan imposed his will (Wilt didn't)Blake is now imposing his will. I think he'll start posterizing guys again. We have Turiaf for a little payback

Barkley once said that if a guy tries to take a charge from him that guy better be wearing a metal cup or have brass balls because he's going to get kneed. Malone often drove to the basket keading with his knee.

Although BG isn't getting so many bad calls he still gets them. Make payback be a byotch.

I fear no man beneath the skys for I will posterize. paraphrase from Samuel Colt

Turiaf has more heart although DJ made a NAAAASTY finger roll. To re-reiterate myself DJ should have been in at garbage and have the offense run through him. He got benched for biting on that fake.

and yet some people on here dont think we get shafted by the refs game in and game out. if we got half the help the flakers get, we'd be close to undefeated. i mean, we won tonight shooting 9 ft's compared to 29 for the blazers. talk about one team playing "clean" defense. lol. going back to the game, excellent win. our defense stepped up. strong games from butler, ebled, BG, odom and hill. now its time to get on a roll again

The way I saw it, was it obvious we were going to get called for looking at one of their guys and they could break our legs but until one of our guys spilled blood the refs would let it slide (gee haven't seen that in the last 20 years) hence the disparity in the FT shots, so our guys decided may as well hit them hard when we think we are going to be fouled because the whistle will blow anyhow. So in that 3rd period they went nuts defensively and offensively and put the Jailblazers on their backs a lot. so they got a lot of free throws,,but they were punished severely for it and they just ran out of steam in the 4th from the beating they took.

Good old east coast basketball

Because it bites them in the ass every time they give a timetable, pretty much for the entire history of the team at least since I've been a Clips fan. You'd think, after who knows how many years, how many players' injuries, and almost everybody comes back late (or even never)...Maybe you might want to look at the trainers staff. I'm sure our head trainer is a real nice guy but his only job is to keep guys healthy and get them back from injury in a short amount of time. Seems to me the guy has been a total failure.

86 has brought this up in the past as well, Jason Powell is it? Yup, over the years we have had an abnormnal amount of injuries. Im sure somethings arent being done right. The fatc that we have so many injuries seems like more than coincidence
