That flop probably cost us the game.... Another late game TO by Crawford. He should have been more careful. He kills us more than he helps us to be honest.

And no fouling? f***** retard coach VDN.

Absolutely stupid VDN why would you play out the clock?

Lol Celtics are fu**ing tools. Burn down entire clock, terrified of the Clippers hitting a shot.. then we give up a stepback 3 to end it.

I thought that was pretty good defense by Barnes....but clutch shot by Pierce.

Its our offense is horrible without cp3. It really shows who is running the show. VDN has no concept as a head coach.

Clutch shot by pierce. Pretty good def by Barnes. Still feel refs screwed us in the 2nd quarter. That was a flop by Bradley. Refs cost us again

Nice fight in the end, maybe they have more effort now in the next game.

We had this in the bag if it wasn't for shitty coaching and poor effort. Refs were a part of it but its no excuse. The Celtics aren't even a good team.

They are so bad offensively that its an embarrassment they even scored over 100 on us. They scored a measly 14 points in the quarter where we actually tried to play defense.

Thats was a dumb coaching decision!!!

Also immediately after that rebound its should have been yelled at the top of vinnys lungs 2 for 1. Him not doing so resulted into jamals indecision.

celtics 11- 18 from threes. Not sure how many games we need to have without the guys closing out on the shooters. Every team comes in a shoots lights out from three and they are usually uncontested. Also why would VDN not choose to foul, what a idiot. I had to watch the telecast on nba tv there announcers said why arent the clippers fouling. Then brent barry says the same thing. VDN has to go at the end of the year. He is a liability.

Crawford keeps going for gimmicks..which is not a good idea down the stretch. Blake played pretty well, but needs to be MUCH more aggressive down the stretch...and we need to NOT use him in pick and roll, but in the low post. That may be why he has no "killer instinct"...because he'd be more inclined to do that in his spot. The high pick and roll is not his most comfortable spot to do that.

We definitely played with more intensity in the second half. There may be something to learn from that. But seriously...we need our guards back.

Bullshit. Bledsoe got hacked on those last two drives made. I know there's no moral victories but Bledsoe did play pretty damn good today. Hopefully he'll ball up John Wall next game.

The two things that really stand out is obviously the last play where we just burned the clock without doubling

The play before that when Crawford turned it over he was turning over his shoulder to see what the play was and look confused

I am not one of the fire Vinny people, I am one that defends him,,but he will go. The only way he stays is if CP3 wants him and CP3 stays,,but I can't see either of them being here next year, not after the last 2 weeks of play.

@ekker, how in the world can we forget about the 30 seconds. we got shafted once again by bradley flopping on crawford. and bledsoe got hammered at least 4 times in the 4th and nothing was called. the second quarter was all but nullified in the 4th. but the refs had to put their bs calls in. boston always gets the calls at home. yeah the first half was bad, but the clips played their asses off in the second half. ebled, crawford, bg and dj played well. ebled was a beast tonight. this is the ebled we have to see on a consistent basis. oh well, we can bitch and moan about the result, but the standings will show the loss unfortunately. on to the game tomorrow.

Crazy sad los Vinny failed hard, from the Ronny running the Blake offense leading to the huge hole and then at the end when Crawford was looking for a timeout or a play to help him out and got nothing which led to the charge.

The Celtics actually have a better record without Rondo and you can see why. They all move and they all find the open man. The open man has no problem shooting it. The few times we do the same, we tend to hesitate before shooting it. But frankly we don't move around...we stand around. As far as our perimeter defense. I'm tired of it. It's not like they have dominant inside players that we need to collapse on. We make bad 3-pt shooting teams look like good ones. If we had a great shot blocker, that might not be as much of a problem.

The thing is, even if Vinny is telling our team to defend the 3. Even if he is telling our team to move around more on offense. Even if he is running plays down the stretch (I kinda doubt that one)...the team is obviously not listening. I've said all along, with a healthy Chris Paul (and Chauncey), we have all the players we need to win a championship. Especially if we play the kind of defense we were playing before Paul went down. But how much better would we be with a great coach?

A loss is a loss whether by 30 or by 1. VDN slow adjustments killed us. It took him 3 quarters to adjust properly and by then it was too late. We should never have had that albatross of a 2nd quarter.

Lets face it, without CP, we're a .500 team with average coach, at best.

We're 1 game above Memphis and 2 over GSW. We're freaking 2 losses away from the 5th seed and Denver is closing in too.

I thought jamal was pretty good in late game sutiations (good coach or not). two bad tos(step-out of bounds and the off foul). didnt do prettu good in portland either.

still he knows the clock well. team had o e time out. if a timeout is called at end of game its usualy after a rebound. his decision maki g today wasnt good to say the least. the second qrt was attrocious. that lost us the game today

so we're essentially back t0 last year? shut down cp and we're screwed.

i thought blake was elite? shouldnt elite plkayers be able to carry a team? (excuse the typos, my hand's immobilized)

Not calling a timeout also falls on the coach, they can do that from the bench now.

BG has been playing great during this stretch. Its not his fault that VDN is not even an average coach. VDN will never get a HC job in this league again unless a team wants to tank.

How is it that Hollins can't get any minutes over Turiaf who has been killing us with his butterfingers lately? Hollins did play for the Celtics last season, he might bring some defensive advantages in a game like this. 0 minutes? Really Vinny?

I'm not sure the occasional baskets are enough to offset the godawful turnovers. There was some speculation as to how tough a decision it would be to have Paul, Billups and Crawford down the stretch when those two come back. Now I realize it's not that tough a decision.

As far as Blake being an elite player. He still is. But he, Vinny and the team MUST understand in order for him to take over, it must be down low. It's got to be where he's most comfortable. Not with a jumper...not from a high pick and roll situation.

Vinny's only supporters (that he isn't related to) are a small devoted fan club on here who clings onto his Coach of the Month award like it means anything. Apparently it's the players' fault for not doing Vinny's job for him on top of their own jobs. It's pathetic.

82-0 your Borderline trolling is pathetic.

No one is refuting that VDN isn't the best coach but we are logical enough to understand that the players have to play not the coaching staff. If we had brung any energy in the second quarter the end result might have been different.

Man, I just saw Crawford's box score stats. You'd think he had an amazing game...other than the 6 turnovers. And you can have a great game with a lot of turnovers...but all his turnovers felt like game killers today.

I guess I should give Bledsoe his due. I don't trust him at ALL as a floor leader and he made a couple of momentum killing plays. Plus, let's face it, most of his positive production today was WAY too late. But he was +14 for the Clippers today. He and BG (+12) were higher in +/- than anyone else in the game besides Jason Terry, who was a whopping +17!

How am I trolling? The second quarter went poorly, but we had a chance to win late and Vinny pissed it away with terrible plays and not telling them to foul at the end. Also, it took FOREVER for him to make any adjustments.

He has made valid points. It took VDN over 2 quarters to make any serious adjustments and he pissed those adjustments away by making a boneheaded decision at the end by not asking the players to foul. We should never have had such a bad 2nd quarter. We should never have loss to the Raptors by over 20 points.

Half of the blame at the very least falls on VDN. Players are going to start tuning him out soon if they aren't already.

the problem is will DTS make the necessary coaching change? I am very doubtful that he will. Despite CP3 being out this and the Toronto games were very winable, and some of this blame does lie at vinny's feet. Sadly, Vinny is here to stay I will gladly wager anyone that he will not go anywhere.

Pretty much the same as last year. What I don't get is why we have an open roster spot, Trey who is never active, and Billups taking up roster spots. We need to fill these spots with players that will actually see the floor. Even Hollins doesn't play.

If CP3 is not the MVP, then I don't know what most valuable means.

Blake is elite when he has another star to play with and take the pressure.
