Anywhere from 1 day to career according to team doctors.

You can forget about him coming back until after the All-Star Break, IMO. We have f***** quack team doctors who don't know **** about anything other than collecting a paycheck.

anyone who knows hamstring injuries knows that they SEVERELY affect burst and hinder those that rely on athletic ability, speed.

worst of all, it tends to be a chronic injury.

lets hope its something minor. otherwise, i dont want blake playing till its 100%. even if it means getting the 8th seed. (same thing with cp. sit him till he's ready)

Over 25 years as a fan and you're complaining now. I think you might have slept through some losing years there if you're complaining about a 34-16 season so far. LOL!!!!!!!

As bad as we've been playing recently and 90% is due to injury, the Clippers record at the 50 game mark is still the best in their HISTORY. You need some perspective there fattner. roll

It's a minor strain. So minor he suited up and did the shoot-around for the Wizards game, but just decided to play it safe. He may even play next game.

Thad young has hamstring strain Kurt Helin of @basketballtalk says Thaddeus Young out three weeks with hamstring strain

Also Thad Young had this to say via

Tom Moore Twitter @tmoorepburbs #Sixers Thad Young: 'I've heard hamstring injuries can definitely linger. Doctors say it's usually (being out) 3-4 weeks.

I hope to God this not the case for Blake and its not as serious

I thought the same thing,,this is pretty normal for a long time fan,, just with better players.

At the beginning of the year I didn't want to bring up the "I" word (injury) because we seemed to have tougher guys that play through it,,but alas we have the same old training staff and doctors and now that our tough guys are down, they are down and out. Keeping up with the long standing Clipper tradition of everyone getting hurt at the same time and overlapping because our medical staff really is clueless.

Paolo and tense talking sense.

I think I'll give the best Clipper team EVER a few more games before I jump ship.

Personally, I think the team is playing possum to some degree. Just making sure everybody is absolutely 100% by April (which is infinitely more important than the difference between a 2 and a 4 seed).

The only thing I'd really like to change is that our JV lineup would be getting handled by the likes of Utah, Portland, Dallas and Houston instead of these Eastern teams, which would make getting to the playoffs harder for the lakers.

Young's hamstring injury is a grade 1 and maybe be a grade 3. Completely different then Blake's diagnose minor hamstring injury.

I am sick and tired of your nonsense. Stop overreacting over everything. Apparently you rather have our entire roster injured to win a few games. We would enter the playoffs with just our bench if you were the one deciding things.

Acting like players are sitting out since they are "slacking" or have no heart when you don't even know how seriously they are injured and acting like were about to lose our playoff seeding. Smfh. What a joke. Even if were 1st seed it means nothing if our starters aren't healthy come playoff time.

I thought this for the most of the time since CP3 was out, they were sandbagging it so he wouldn't have to waste his time in all star weekend. But with Blake going down now,,,that would be too shifty of a thing to pull with two of them down for up to and including all star weekend. I think Stern would want to see an xray or something.

I do believe they are still hurt or getting hurt now and it is the ineptness of our staff that keeps them down. I know the argument is, you heal when you heal and it cant be predicted, but jeez this isn't just now, this seems to be a traditional thing with this team. Holey heck,,Kobrick is playing with a sprained elbow and winning right now ( a h o l e ).

I do agree,,a 2 or a 4 seed is no difference. It's who you match up with is the difference.

In Baseball when a player is out hurt, insurance pays the salary. You would think the NBA is the same, when you're in a suit insurance pays your salary, not the team. Sort of like workmen's comp

Ralph Lawler @Ohmeomy Things are getting so tough for Clippers with injuries - trainer Jasen Powell tore his Achilles in Orlando yesterday

Not that I wish injury on anyone, but you've got to admit that the irony here is priceless.

Clippers should jerry-rig one of those lampshade collar things that stop dogs gnawing at their stitches... the last thing Jasen Powell needs is Jasen Powell working on that ankle.

Our trainers are so incompetent they can't even prevent themselves from getting injured.... We need better trainers and a better medical staff.

A string of injuries that happens often is not a coincidence. Compare the Suns to the Blazers for example.

This is getting just plain stupid,,,,the heck with signing CP3,,,we need to sign a real medical staff that didn't get their medical degrees in the Bahamas or online from Phoenix University

How does a trainer tear his Achilles? Is Vinny using him as a fill in at practice?
