This one kind of makes me excited. If there is a shred of truth to this its great news for clipper fans. It basically says that either williams and/or redd are available for trade talk. I have always like mo williams game. I think he is better than ford and I beleive a little cheaper or about the same. He is younger, not injury prone and has a better shot. I would do a mobley straight up for him or thomas/minnesota 2010 pick. What do you guys think here is the link...

Yeah that would be quite awesome. He had some good stats this year with:
GP MIN/G PPG REB/G AST/G FG % 3P%
66 36.5 17.2 3.5 6.3 48.0 38.0
Wouldn't mind picking this guy up. But could we get him straight up for Mobley?
Also he has only completed one complete season in 04-05. All the other season he has missed 16 or more games. Not sure if that's a lot though but still not good that he has only completed one whole season. |

| You mentioned the T-Wolves 2010 pick. I know this was part of the Cassell - Jarick trade (what a steal by Elgin!). Is the pick lottery protected for 2009? Is it unprotected for 2010? Does anyone know the status of that pick. |

It is "top ten" protected. I can't remember if the protection lapses in 2010 or 2011 though. |

| It's top-ten protected through 2010... in 2011 it would be unprotected. |

| Ramon Sessions outplayed Maurice Williams at the end of last year, but Mo is still a decent PG. |

| The pick is protected until 2011. I'm not sure on Mo Williams. I haven't seen him play and obviously if he was that great why did Milkwake under achieve. |

| Mo Williams was resigned last summer for 8mil$ per year so there's no any indication that he could be traded and less for a player like Mobley. |
