35? How?!? I'm in 319 and they're 40

I'm in Section 219 and they are $40 for the first round, $60 for the second round, $100 for the third round and $120 for the Finals. These are season ticket rates and probably won't last into next year if we make the playoffs. I still got my buy-one-get-one free rate in the 200's section this year because CP3 didn't sign until after I renewed.

Oh, the face value for my 1st round playoff ticket in section 219 says $125 on the tickets, but I bought extra 200's section seats in the pre-sale and they were only $75 each. Made no sense.

Who should I ask to see how much I'm paying for my playoff tickets?

If you're a season ticketholder, you should ask your rep. Also, make sure you get them to RSVP you to the Galaxy game and the Dodgers game this summer.

Donald Sterling may be a cheap ass, but he does seem to spend more money on the fans and less on the greedy players than most of the other owners. With the Lakers, the season ticketholders just get the privilege of being at the Lakers games. I'm a Lakers fan my whole life, but it's a pain getting into the Lakers club, so I joined the Clippers family.

I jsut got my tix back and for the season,,in the 200s,,I am paying 36 per seat per game. But like they said above,,my playoff seats show a face value of 75 for the first round and 125 for the next. I never thought I may be paying less then face value,,I know the season seats are less then the face value.

I have season seats in 105. My tickets for the first round have $100 printed on them. My cost was $90. I found this out by listing a pair for sale on ticketmaster from my clipper account. On one of the screens before I listed the tickets it showed that my price was $90/ticket.

My Western Conference Semifinal tickets have $175 on them. I have no idea what my cost is yet.

I was wondering if anyone on here is a season ticket holder and what section you have and how much it was, I want to be a season ticket holder next year and I just want to have an idea of how much money I need to save. Thanks, Clipper nation stand up

200s. If you look at a map of the 200s the first row costs the most, the 2nd to 6th row cost less and the cheapest are row 7 to 12. I am in row 7, the best seats in that area,,mine are ,,I think,,3200 for the season.

It boils down to 35 per per seat per game including preseason but I don't really know if this is a value because some of the games my seats have a face value of 30, most are 40, some on the weekends are 50 and big ones (like the Fakers) are 140. I didn't bother to add the individual games up to see if I was actually ripped off.

I will tell you this,,I was first a STH in 2004 and 200 seats were the same price then except for all of the 200s so prices haven't changed much in that area for 9 years,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yet.

damn, cant wait to finish up college and get a job so I can get me some season tix too lmao.... ticket prices have gone through the roof this season, haven't been able to go to a single regular season game.

heck, on stub h*b (idk why the site blocks the ticket site's name?) regular season games are like $50, I got playoffs seats last season for game 3 vs the grizz in section 107 for $87..... Mad

Only good thing abou this is that this could urge DTS to spend like a big market team.

Popularity plus supply and demand. The resale market is the best I have ever seen since "the hub" was invented. CP3, Blake and winning. Unstoppable force. That is why I will renew next year,,IF,,I know CP3 is back. Make sit easy and now sometimes profitable to get rid of the seats you won't use and really unless you have a lot of money, not too many people go to every game (but I do know some).

My rep is lagging like always. Either that or they must be going in alphabetical order. My Sec 110 Row 20 is currently $130.00 per game but wonder what my increase will be. I am/was planning to move up and now have an idea what to expect to pay thanks to 23efren23 listing his renewal price.

Another price increase is upsetting but as FightOnRon mentioned the resale market is good on these tix but damn to see a 20% increase is not cool.

Oh I know, put a winning and exciting product out there and tickets will sell, and sell at high prices. Im just saying how huge the price difference feels for a college student with no cash flow haha

My rep didn't tell me,,the people here in this thread told me and I looked at my online account.

I looked at it online and to me there are some questions so I tried getting ahold of my rep and got nothing,,no replies yet. I can't figure out the billing and the multiple choice questions we are supposed to answer.

Okay so I finally got with rep and got it squarred away since I could no longer wait to see what my damage is. My seats went from $135 per seat to $150 per seat. So in my case its actually a 11.1% increase. Its still bad but not as bad 20% increase mentioned above.

Yeah. I based that on efren price increase ($175 to $210) but it looks like the price increase really varies depending on seat location.

My tickets (Section 106 Row 13) increased from $50 to $55. My idea was to resign once/if CP3 resigns, but my rep said I have only until April 1st to renew. That's before the end of the season so probably before we find out about what CP will do. Does anyone else have a specific deadline to renew?

^ I was told if I do the payment plan I have until March 15th to renew,,,my take was the same as yours. I put down 800 then the next payment is is after the signing date,,makes me wonder should I roll the dice on losing 800 bucks if CP3 bails,,renew but cancel if the FO blows it.

Its worth it. I rather pay a bit more money for a good product rather than less money for a poor product.

I am sure every single person that has season tickets can sell almost every single game for face value or higher and get 2-3x's the value for the tickets when great teams come play like the Lakers and Heat.

^not always that easy.

If you try to be competitive there are the handful that really sell really low,,way under face values. I just posted some tix on the site which we can't name and although the face value of the tix are 70 each, all around me people were selling them for 25-30,,,,,under what we even paid. Another factor is the NBA does not have a deal in place with the place we can't mention so you can't send your tickers electronically so that cuts into the money people spend because they have to pay 12-15 for shipping. MLB has a deal with Ticketmaster and the place we can't mention so they make it really easy to send electronically. People like electronic tickets if it saves them 10 bucks.

It is almost enough to make me go back to he dreaded Ebay sale rout. That way you can email them yourself and save all the middle man garbage,,but people trust the palce we can't mention because they back their sales. You can get, and I have been, burnt by Ebay.

But I am 95% sure I will renew,,it would be 100% if a certain point guard hinted he is staying. I think sales will be even better next year then this if that PG stays

honest question: do STH's ever get tired of going to games? i only go to about 5-10 games a year and even then im over the in-game experience by game 5.

i prefer the mini-pack to the full season. you cant beat watching the games on HDTV, up close action with lawler playbyplay. also no hassle of driving, traffic, and parking. not to mention much cheaper beer.

You want honesty,,you got it. I don't go to every game for the reasons you stated. I am retired and hate traffic but going to Staples is the WORST of everything I go to. Not to mention costs of parking, gas, food, drink,,a game costs more then just sitting there.

I do prefer to go to weekend games as the traffic is not USUALLY quite as bad and going home is not bad at all. So I got to about 15 games a year.

Do I get tired of it,,,never not now. I was getting weary of it back in like 2008, 2009 when we just sucked beyond compare. Having tickets I felt it was my duty to go to some games, you couldn't give them away anyhow. I didn't enjoy the hassle of getting there just to see us fold again and again.

But now, with BG32 and CP3 it has re-energized my love of going more then ever. So i love and look forward to every single game I attend.

Still hate the traffic though. And am trying to figure out how to smuggle in my drink.

I just get there early like around around 6ish. get a free parking on the meter. And then spend my parking money on beer at hooters or espn zone. I dont get tired of going to games but i do get tired of driving there lol.

I bought season tickets before for a team and I sold like 66% of the game and made about 75% of my money back. I just can't and don't want to go to every single game. So I was basically going to a fraction of the games for like 20$ a game, which included parking. Sometimes ya just don't feel like going to games.

Alex (Alexandra) Novak. 213-742-7503

If there are any ST left,,you MAY be able to put a deposit down for next year AND go to the playoffs this year.

Did some soul searching with the wife,,we are coming back. But we will riot and picket if CP3 is let go.

CP3 aint going anywhere. Hold off on the riots, that's a Laker fan move. I don't see us after winning the championship going out into the streets and overturning cop cars and setting things on fire. There will be a TON of public love making I'm certain

I know,, once I hit send that was the first thing that entered my mind,,but I really meant my wife and myself just personally protesting ,,not actually rioting like a Faker fan can or burning and looting !

But I suspect Clipper Nation,,when the time comes and we win the Finals,,,will act like the adults we are, not like a bunch of spoiled babies,,, and we will party with respect.

Hey guys, Im coming to see 3 clipper games in April and ill be driving and parking around staples.

Ive read some of the posts about difficulty and traffic, could you guys elaborate about how much time i need to give to get to the games if coming from out of town?

April 1st game 1 vs Pacers

April 7th game 2 vs lakers

April 10th game 3 vs timberwolves

Also any advice on the best lots to park for ease of access? Happy to pay to park, just want to avoid traffic

where you staying?

If you're planning on paying for parking. you might as well leave 2 hrs before the game time. like 5:30 for the 7:30 game so you can at least enjoy the experience of the surrounding restaurants and bar.

Vegas ? You seriously have to leave early ! Traffic around Staples can be a nightmare, as can traffic anywhere in LA say between noon and,,well heck noon the next day. You never can tell. that is why people suggest aim to get there 2 hours early. I live 16 miles from Staples. One time it took me an hour and 20 minutes to get to the game during a weekday,, although average time is 45 minutes. I live to the east, so I travel west to get there.

If you want to know about parking, go to Staples Center website or the CLips website to see the lots. The closer you park, the more it costs (don't park at the lot for Nokia,,they charge up the arse). If you look at a map, I park at the convention center parking lot off of Cherry. It costs between 12 -20 bucks. the flex it and why I don't know but my guess is for the Fakers it will be 20 bucks.. But your car is covered and sort of secure.
