How long will it take to get there from Bristol Enland??

I am kidding of course, I am just jealous. You guys get to worry about the traffic and parking lots I get to worry about if I can stay up late enough to watch the game-home games are out of the question as they start at 3.30 or is it 4.30 in the morning here. Or when and wether the website I download from will post the game on their site. They never posted up the Lakers game so I still haven't seen it-so annoying. I suppose I should bite the bullet and get an NBA leaugue pass.

My Sec 209 Row 3 went from $45 to $53 (about 18%). Last year they went from $34 to $45 (33% increase). The way it was explained before was that the lower rows per section have higher demand so that is why my tickets had a larger percentage increase than others.

In the past the 200 level had same price for all tickets. But last year they split the pricing into ($45, $40, $35) and changed the face value based on the opponent ($55 against Sacramento and $150 against the Heat for Example) to make it a true value per row. All this makes sense to me but my average face value actually went down (a few years ago my face value was $68 per ticket now they are average of less than $60 per ticket?

I get paying more for better product but 34% and 18% consecutive increases are big jumps. Especially as a 10 year season ticket holder:)

With that said, I love my aisle seats, this team and I do like the fan assist of the Clippers organization! But if anyone wants to on topbuzz, I am probably down to split half my season and a bunch of the rest of this year's games. Just hit me up...Go Clipps!

STH Since 2000. Sect 105 Row C went from $105.00 per ticket to $135.00. That's a 28.57% increase. I have to seriously think about this since I only want to go to about 10 games and a playoff game in each round. In 2000 I paid $45.00 each ticket.

I may have bought your seats on a certain "hub" for an upcoming game as i needed two extras for a friend and I sit in 208. You don't have the 10th of April open do you,,I need another pair close to me.

For me, because I have always sat in the backs of the 200s,so until next season it was always about 68 for a pair. this year it was 70 for a pair. Next year maybe, i think, it is 74 per game for a pair. Still a value for what we now get to see, and I get autograph alley too, twice this year.

What kid of angers me is I use the payments and becuas e of that, they blow me off for all the summer fun stuff like the free movie etc because I am not paid in full. You pay 3500 bucks for tix, plus playoffs, but they won't spring a lousy 10 bucks for a movie.

I have had my section 103 seats since 01-02 and last year it was $4700 for each seat. This year its $6400, thats a steep increase. Plus if the Clipps go to the finals and every time play 4 home games that like another $6400!!!!!!!!!

Luckily I'm able to sell a few games and recoup some cost but a large majority go to clients as thank you gifts. Jeeezzz......I can remember not too long ago that the only draw to the game was the opposing team stars. My, my how things have changed for the better. Wont be long before our Clipper seats cost more than Laker seats, that would be the ultimate burn, well that and the Clipps winning the championship!!!!

Go Clippers

Yup, similar to Sec 102, Rw 5.

I must be alittle cheaper than you at Rw 5 in the lower bowl. Cuz I calculated an increase from $175 to $200 ..

man, it's $25 from last year to this year, and another $25 from this year to next year...

Who wants to split next years season with me?? 4-ways? 5-ways? 6-ways?

Hey dmac,

Good morning! Thanks for getting back to me as I'm still in the market for good Clippers tickets! Could you please tell me where are your seats in Section 116? I drive to Channel Islands once a weekend for ANG duty so I could up pick the tickets on my way to base if we make a deal. Get back to me anytime when you're ready. As for everyone and anyone who wants to share Clippers season tickets next year, please post here and I'll get back to you asap!!

$95 is actually a very good price for me. Does it include parking? Also, I'm not a matchup hog so as long as I get a few good games, I'm satisfied with just watching the hometown Clips. If the seats are good and the price is right, I'd want at least a quarter of the season(20+ games), so feel free to throw me offers!

I was Sec 110 Row 20 last season and it was $135.00 per seat/per game. My renewal for this upcoming season was $150.00 I think. I have moved my seats to different location for this season

I believe that row 15 through row 20 are in the same price bracket for section 110 if memory serves me correct.

Hello Clips Fans,

I am new to this Clippers forum and I have just recently bought my Season Tickets for 2014-2015!

I just had a quick question.. I made a downpayment of 25%, chose my seats but those seats can be changed during April if I want to change it per Clip's Sales Rep. But the Rep told me the current chosen seats would be my seats for Playoff.

I was wondering if that playoff is for 2014 or 2015 or even both..

So during April I get the chance to change my preseason and regular season seats and go back to my first chosen seats when playoff starts in 2015?

Or those current seats are for playoff 2014 and in April I get the chance to change my seats for preseason, regular season, and playoff 2015?

Any Ideas? It would be great if previous season ticket holders can help me out!

Thanks!

That is for this year only ,2014 (the 2013-14 season). The deal actually is there are not many seats to be gotten so there is an even better chance what will happen is you will, as I do, get an invite for select a seat when it is time to try to pick other seats, then you will find there probably aren't any seats to select from except the 300 sections. It has pretty much been sold out for 3 years. Plus you will be at the bottom of the food chain making moving even harder. I currently have not great seats in the 200s and it took me 5 years to move to them from even worse seats in the 200s.

So if you are new and you have seats for the playoffs in 2014, count of those to be your seats for quite a while. Probably the 2014-15 season and beyond.

This could of course change but don't count on it. We have the hot ticket in town now. I remember the beginning of the 2013 season someone here posted pictures of the available seats and it was a joke to even think about going for an upgrade. In the 200s (what I can afford) there were like 20-30 individual seats spread out all over. The reason is of course many rows are odd numbered of seats to when people buy in pairs there is an extra in a row. But who knows, things could change.

Oh and PS: Welcome and,you probably blew up someone's miniplan for next year. Their problem, not yours !

Thank you for the reply!

Wow I didn't know season tickets were sold that quickly..

Well my Section is 321 Row 11...seats are towards the center section(towards320) There were some available towards the behind-the-basket like section 322 row 10 and 323 row 7.. but i preferred to go towards more to the middle but higher rows..

But I am not really planning to move down to 200s since I am not too flexible on my budget. My section costed me $1980($22/game) for 2 seats so I was planning to move down and towards middle in 300 level if I could on April.

So my seats for now would be for playoff 2013-2014 for sure.. and i might (slim chance? haha) be able to change my seats during April for 2014-2015 if i'm correct? haha

I am looking forward to being STH though! haha Surprised

YOu might,a snowball effect. The people that sat next to me last year moved to the 100s when someone quit so the two next to me were available (a broker bought them). I think in the 300s you have a pretty good chance of moving come moving day.

How do you think I half support my habit? I too am beyond my budget but selling the right games at the right time (think Miami and the Fakers) can net you a lot of money and sometimes pay for half of your next year. I know going to Faker games are a highlight, but,Faker fans will sell body parts to see their team play and they generate a lot of money for what we barely pay. That is the hardest one,you want to be there for you team, but sometimes the urge to make a few hundred on something you paid 50 bucks for is so tempting.

The real killer though is the playoffs. Of course you go to the first game of any round. But you can make a fortune on those seats. I always end up blowing it though and going to way more games then I had planned on going to,sometimes you cannot help yourself. My budget for this year for the regular was only 10 games. That 10 will easily be 20+.

Don't forget to do the cool crap too like autograph alley. Read up on the website. Why pay 300 bucks for a BLake autographed ball when you can get one for free (you supply the ball).

Yeah I'm also thinking about going to maybe 10 games and try to sell out the rest to make some money back..

I am definitely going to try to sell those high value games like Miami and etc..

Are playoff tickets easy to sell? It would be nice if i can maybe just go for one playoff game and maybe sell the other ticket or tickets depending on how clippers do..

But really, thanks for the head up!! Appreciate it!!

Selling playoff tickets is beyond easy. What I like about the Clips are you only pay for games that are played. I have Dodger ST and when the post season rolls around you have to pay up front all the way through the World Series which end up costing more then the entire season did.

The thing is, if you have never been to a playoff game, after the first one and the shock and excitement, you will want to go to all of them. It is true the playoffs are nothing like the real season. My first year I went to all of them then when I had to pay I realized I couldn't afford that.

Invoice just came in for season ticket renewal. My 116, row 17 went up from $60 per ticket to $65 so not too bad. Looks like there will be 45 games next season so 4 preseason games.

My tickets went up 5 bucks a seat too, this could be the end of the road for me. And I can't figure out how much playoff seats are, can't find that anywhere. And my computer won't click on any of the links anyhow, no matter what browser I use.

Mine went up way more than I'd hoped. Section 110 went from $210 to $230. Section 107 Row B: $135 to $150. I know a 10% - 12% raise isn't much, but when it's several years of large raises in a row this is getting excessive! My tickets all cost double what they did a few years ago.

My ticket prices went up 12% for next year, but over the last 3 years, they've increased me by 75%. I guess we all gotta chip in for all these high salaries Sterling has picked up.

Yeah, 5 bucks a seat for me is about a 10% raise,I am on the fence now but if I renew this 2014-15 will be the end of the road for me to be sure

When your old, not working (retired at age 50) and your income is basically fixed, 5% annual increases don't match how much your income goes up. I want to keep my football tix, my dodger tix and my clipper tix but the Trojan and the Dodgers added up are cheaper then the NBA. The most expensive has to go first.

What I will probably do is renew and try to sell off enough to make my cost next season, even if that limits me to 4 or 5 regular season games and the playoffs. If I can pull that off I will keep them but I have to make enough on re-sell to cover my cost.

Now that the Clippers are playoff fixtures and the Lakers seem to have hit a snag, you may be able to sell your tickets for profit on certain games. I'm almost positive you can turn a profit on the playoff tix because I did the last two seasons. And with the Lakers out of the playoffs, the Clippers are the only show at the Staples Center when May rolls around.

Well I did sell a lot this year but the problem was I went to more then I had planned. I figured to get in maybe 2 games a month and then I knew I could break out pretty well this year, come close to paying for the season. Last year was good with the Clips selling out all their games, this year was better,my discipline is not.

MY plan was 10 games and playoffs for this year, the reality is going to be 22 games and playoffs. That 12 games made a huge difference in not making back my seats. I really only go to weekend games and in the old days we never had those. Maybe 3 or 4 a year. But now that we are popular we have a lot of Sat and Sun games and instead of selling, I went.

If I could just reel in myself it's a no brainer.
