I been waiting all day for someone to post this up with the article but nobody has so i posted this hoping someone can post the article as they read this if they have espn insider.

Since Indiana needs a pg bledsoe perfect butler makes salaries match we and pacers get 6th man slash starter in butler we get are knockdown 3point wing in granger great 3th option and expires in 2014 perfect when all the best sf in nba become free agents for our chance to sign our 3rd star worse case scenario we keep granger not bad 3rd option and spreads the floor better than butler both teams love this trade and helps them win now. Now the final piece for the clippers to win the title involves kg the big ticket trade dj straight up for him. Celtics get young same length in contract and i hope garnett retires 2014 or clippers trade him in offseason to sign their big 3rd star small forward that offseason. We get our big defender inside with experience and midrange game and our deep bench still in tact. We can have odom hill run the 1 or always ahve either billups or paul on the floor. Wose case scenario we sign pg like fisher to get his 6th ring arenas at worse case scenario farmar etc long list.... Let me know what you guys think

This Trade is Successful!

espn trade machine If we need to throw tpe or draft picks the clippers would be ok doing it. Indiana trade first and then it would help garnett see clippers real deal and wave his no trade clause.

Okay,,the article is about the 10 most likely "stars" to move. Granger is number 8. Here is the bit about him:

  1. Danny Granger, F, Pacers

Granger has yet to play a game for the Pacers this season. He's eyeing a return Wednesday, which would give him only two games at less than 100 percent to prove his trade value.

The Pacers face a dilemma. Granger could put them over the top in the East, or his return could damage their team chemistry and hinder the development of Paul George. Either way, the team is unlikely to be able to afford him in the long term and will probably have to shop him this summer.

If the Clippers can't land Paul Pierce or Kevin Garnett, they could be strong suitors for Granger if they are convinced he can stay healthy.

Wait and see on Granger. Need him to play first. Maybe in the off season that trade could happen. Garnett is staying in Boston.

Trading for a Granger that hasn't played is a really risky gamble. I'd much rather see an article that says Paul George a good fit.

Paul George untouchable or else we would been had him for bledsoe

We're not moving Bledsoe until this summer, that much I can bank on. That'll give us time to assess whether Granger is still his old self after his injury. I do think it's a good fit and helps us cover some of the gaps we'll have after losing supporting cast players to free agency this summer.

I just really don't wanna get screwed and lose Bledsoe for absolutely nothing. I'd prefer he remain on the team and take over starting SG duties / an increased role next year ( as in 25+ MPG ) but who knows. We could really use a Tony Allen guy on the team, great height for the 2 spot, can play the 3 and is a lockdown defender.

I'm not giving up on DJ just yet. I want to see how he progresses with a new coach. Same with Bledsoe.

The trade doesn't even work salary-wise. Butler and Bledsoe don't cover Granger and DJ does not cover KG...we need to shed another 5 mil. in salary to make all that work.

Any trade we do will involve Bledsoe so trading DJ for Garnett straight up won't happen. If we wanted KG or Peirce,Bledsoe would for sure be apart of the deal.So there is no way we could get both KG and Granger. But I do like Granger and think he could be a nice fit with us.Also I think we would likely be able to get him over KG or Peirce, who I think will retire Celtics.

But either way I don't think we will make any trades this year. But I could defiantly see a trade happen over this offseason.I think Butlers and Bledsoe for Granger would work over the summer since Butler would be on an expiring contract and Bledsoe would be on the last year of his rookie contract but for this year I think the Pacers might see how it works out with Granger.

I would do Granger if he is healthy.

Everyone is also neglecting the fact that KG has approve any trades involving him and can veto (for lack of actual nomenclature) them. Also does anyone remember how much the celtics have been hating on Ray Allen for leaving to play with the Heat, KG wouldn't even acknowledge Allen when He walked over to say Hi in the beginning of the season. I doubt KG is going to be shipped out here.

No need for Granger if Butler plats like he has the past 2 games.

And Bledsoe is still more valuable than anyone listed in these trades.

Granger is better than Butler, but I think we can do better in a trade for a guy coming off an significant injury and who's about to turn 30 real soon. Not a good combination.

Need to try and fine a younger player at the sf or sg positions in any trade.

danny granger is OVERRATED.

id rather run with the chemistry we have and risk EB leaving this summer. he's a big part of what we have right now.

EB won't be going anywhere this summer unless we decide to trade him. I think thats what your say'n, right?

yeah, or even worse, if something gets done during this all-star break.

the clippers trading for danny granger would be a HUGE mistake. He's not worth what he's getting paid.

He didn't say that just said last all star game. He reiterated that today at media day. He just said that at 38 years doesn't see himself in an all star game next year

IMO, the chances of us trading EB this season are less than 5%.

Granger makes 13m

Butler makes 8m

Enough said.

13m for a borderline All Star/low all star player isn't overpaid.
