The Celtics blew out the Laker's by39 points tonight. Glad to see Garnet, Pierce, and Allen get their first championship ring seeing as they've all been great players and deserve it. And same goes for Cassell. Things might have ended a bit weird with him and the team but he wanted the ring and he got it so congrats to him and the rest of the team.
Didn't want the Lakers to win anyways. Not that I like the Celtics but I dislike the Lakers more. Also thank god all the Laker fans will finally shut up, except maybe complain and say the refs rigged the series.
Anyways it's over and I'm looking forward to the draft and the start of hopefully a great Clipper 08-09 season!

It's nice to see the Great Number 8 shut down. Maybe Sam was too busted up tp play big minutes with us. The Celtics showed that Kobe and the Bryantettes ain't so great

You know living in L.A. I 've been able to see the band wagon Laker fans pop out with their car flags once the team made the finals, and not before. Now I get to see all of their flags go back into their trunk. I am sick of their obnoxious attitudes. Maybe now they'll shut up. Let's Go Clippers Let's Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What an awesome defensive performance by the Celtics. They didn't leave any question as to who wanted it more. Three rings now for Sam. Would Boston sign him for another year? Could he go out like he came in... with two straight rings? Even if this IS his finale it's not a bad way to go out, and Doc has already stated that he'd welcome Sam as part of the coaching staff. Sam Cassell turned the mid-range jump shot AND the post game interview into art forms. I hope his coaching aspirations come to fruition, it'd be fun to see him working the sidelines someday. Pity the poor refs! Not bad for a relatively unhearlded JC transfer and FSU alum. Congratulations to the Celtics, and to Sam Cassell. Now if we can just learn something from the defensive lessons and the team first attitude the Celtics employed so well.

Glad to see Cassell get his (Maria Quiban even gave him a shout out on CH 13). KG is probably my favorite non-Clipper, I'm happy to see him get his as well. And I'm really glad to hear all the finger pointing and discontent from whiny Faker fans, that's probably the best part. Check out TJ Simers on LA Times, pretty good article on how heartless and gutless they really are.

BTW yeah congrats to Sammy even though he didn't really help Boston's cause that much. He got what he wanted!
