Golden State loses! Now we need Utah to win. Tonight's OKC-Denver game is a win-win for us.

I know there was a big thread on this but, what about starting Bledsoe? Might not be great for spacing but defensively I think he's an upgrade (I love Chauncey but he's gotten torched by almost every SG he's gone up against this year).

Billups would be a good shooter/facilitator off the bench in limited minutes, and he could close out games as well. Now, the problem is I don't think he wants to come off the bench. But I feel like it would be an interesting experiment.

Good win though! Gotta beat OKC this Sunday.

Why? We'd destroy them in 5 maybe 6 games. I worry more about us staying at 3 and facing GSW(6). Shocked That would be another Memphis 7-gamer minus the thuggery.

Wow I didn't know we had a 10 game losing steak at Cleveland. Streak broken!

Agree. We would destroy the lakers! Only chance they have to make it close is if the refs help them alot.

It would be 5-on-8 all series long, and we all know just how dirty the Lakers can get when they're about to lose a playoff series.

Another very good defensive effort. We made the Cavs drive- did give up some hoops in the paint, but more often then not we were able to strip the ball or give a good challenge and get the rebound. Jamal- what a shooting display! CP3, Blake, Barnes, and Lamar also had nice games.

Showdown coming up vs OKC- what a battle that is going to be. If the Clippers play with this sort of defensive intensity, and also hit their open 3's, I think the guys can pull it out.

Jamal is doing great off the bench- why mess with success? And I'm not sure if I'd take his defense over Chauncey's against most starting two guards. Not that Chauncey's foot speed is all that great any more, but he still has the strength and better savvy defensively.

Let's not forget that if the Fakers were to make the playoffs, they'd be on a hot streak. They can't make the playoffs stumbling. So we don't want a team with a ton of confidence in the first round.

Do not ever underestimate the Lakers. Kobe can will a win especially against us. You will see an non human performance. Forty points would not be a surprise. I hope Hill can play He may be able to make like hell if he guards CP3. They are OK even with their starters play lots of minutes.

Metta is a big game changer. Pau will be back.

We need a stellar performance form DJ. Not to dominate Howard but to cause him problems. We will need Hollins

CP3 will tear the pitiful Lakers defense apart as per usual. Metta is not a game changer.... He sucks on both ends of the floor. He used to be the best perimeter defender in the game but he is washed up. He gets torched on a regular basis now.

Overall, the Lakers are no threat to us at all if we meet them due to their defense especially their pitiful defense in the PG position. Neither Nash or Kobe can guard CP3 and if Kobe guards CP3 he will be gassed in a 7 game series. We win in 6 tops refs or not. Wouldn't be surprised if we swept them.

Agree they would be on a hot streak, but if we're playing well at the end, they have no chance. As long as we play well, they are done. The series will be close if the refs help them out. That's there only chance besides injuries.

we sweep the flakers if we face them. kobe legs will be done by the time they did get into the playoffs because he is playing close to 40 minutes a night. even with the refs helping them, they cant match up with us. going back to the game, excellent defensive effort, especially coming off a tough game yesterday

I just want to blow out the OKC thunder so badly. Of course it would be great if we just win but a statement game would be nice. I am tired of them.

Spurs lost Parker to an ankle sprain. Could be big for us.

Sure we'd beat the lakers, but it would get chippy and I doubt we'd come out of it unscathed.

I want Utah. No way the NBA allows a bunch of kids to beat up on lob city.

Can we please stop with the ebled should start at sg or the jamal shouls start at sg.

The starting lineup is fine as it is. That starting lineup is 11 and 2 (i believe. pulling it out of memory)

Bledsoe is better suited to come of bench. he can be way more aggressive coming of bench.

We need a scoring punch of bench. jamal is fine where he is at now.

Dont mess with the chemistry of the team. we also need hill healthy for playoffs.

Unfortunately it seems as if the Spurs play better when their key guys go down. They can probably stay atop the conference even if Parker was out for the season somehow.

Great win by the Clips. I'm so proud of them right now!

I love how NOW people want Chauncey to come of the bench and Crawford to start. It's kinda hilarious because wait until Jamal has a poor shooting night. Jamal is perfect...PERFECT off the bench because of his ability to score in isolation. But he is too erratic and too prone to turning the ball over. With Chauncey, we may not always get a lot of points, but we have another leader out there who can handle, pass and shoot.

Yeah, I like the starting lineup as it is. I think the opposing backcourt has a nightmare playing against two point guards capable of making plays and scoring. While Chauncey lacks the height at SG, his weight and strength are enough to make up for it.

Hey, is this the first time we've won wearing the new blue uniforms? If not, it sure seems like it.

^ Apparently, we're 4-1 in them this season. CP3 broke the jinx.

Nah they'll keep winning. They've got a special thing going on there. If a star is out, they still know how to play without him

Not going to make a difference except in the Thunder game. They can beat decent teams like the Bulls without their Big 3. They already did actually and it was at Chicago.

I rather have TP be healthy so the Spurs beat OKC. Not going to help us at all tbh. TP isn't nearly as valuable as most superstars since the Spurs have a great system and great coaching which also benefits TP a great deal.

Well, obviously they won't fall apart but a loss here, a loss there...

If we can string together some wins, you never know. We still play them once more too... pick up a game there with a big showing from CP3.

They are human.

I have mixed feelings about Parker being out. First, I don't think he's even among the top 5 of point guards. I think he benefits from the well-oiled machine that is the Popovich offensive system. If he starts on another team that actually relies on his playmaking, he's nowhere near as successful. So, in that respect, I don't see his going down being as impactful as, say, CP3 going down.

On the other hand, when the Spurs kill us, it's usually because Parker is shooting lights out against Paul. I mean, his last game against us was absurd.

Another blatantly malicious elbow like the he gave Harden and methinks he is out of the nba forever. He is such a dirty player.

But yea that is quite a game changer.

lol
