Our play calls out of time outs have to be the worst in the league. It is always just ugly.

Exactly. Even when OKC commit an egregious foul, they still get babied by the refs! Terrible..

I can't believe Ibaka didn't get kicked out of the game for hitting Blake in the balls. We would have won if the refs didn't let Ibaka off easy. Bullshit!

Disgusting way to lose what does a guy have to do to get thrown out a damn game. Vinny s me with his rotations should of brought in better defensive unit when we had the lead.

wow, if i were the clips id protest the game. ibaka had two key plays after the cheap shot on bg. he made the 3 point play and had a block on barnes. big plays imo. he should have been in the locker room and not on the floor.

the only way u can counter the refs is if u make your fouls count. you may have to hurt one of their players to send the message.

I know the league fines a someone whenever they complain about the officiating but the Clippers should be complaining now. They were cheated today. Ibaka is a dirty piece of crap. I hope he gets hit in the nuts next game. I don't even count this as a loss today because we should have won.

But refs aside, I think we need to stop digging ourselves a deep hole. We can't rely on comebacks every time.

^ its hard not to have to come back when the biased reffing starts from the beginning. when the refs somewhat called the game fair, the clips dominated.

34-22 FT's, Blake missing an entire quarter, dirty players allowed to remain on the court...

None of that made a difference?

Straight up bullshit.

We use to have our best five but Vinny won't settle on a unit so we get these uneven F ups

wow the refs blew this one from us for sure. i cant believe ibaka didn't getting ejected. westbrook and durant will get every little touch foul but when blake was getting hit throughout the whole game whether it was from perkins or ibaka, no whistle was called.

It's hard to like this Thunder team. I hate how they cheer and taunt after every big play. Do you see Chris Paul, Crawford, Griffin, or any other Clippers do that?

"We like a physical game" - Kevin Durant

Maybe because only one team is allowed to be physical.

Westbrook getting a layup out of a timeout when we had finally snatched the lead, with guys jus standing and watching...that's not the players fault?

Coaching staff got us back in the game and then promptly put the nail in the coffin. The Thunder had figured out the zone yet we failed to make an adjustment.

they wouldnt like it if his twig ass would get split in half with an illegal screen. when i played basketball, i would get hit. but then i would respond much harsher. thats what the clips need to do, if you get hit. dont rely on the refs to call the fouls. you have to police yourself if they dont call anything. if you get a tech for hammering someone, then so be it.

No it isn't, when RefKC had a player on the court who shouldn't have been there to finish out the game. This game was rigged from start to finish. Even when we took the lead, I knew the refs would screw us over.

I saw a Piston player Will Bynum get thrown out of a game last week with a soft punch to Pacer Tyler Hansbrough. Ibaka's chop to the nuts was worse IMO and he should have been kicked out instead of being allowed to stay in the game....and mock Blake while Blake was at the FT line and then he coincidentally scores on a layup, FT and block later in the game....when he should have been in the locker room.

Yeah I usually don't complain about officiating...but wow. That was truly the worst I've ever seen. All the calls they gave both Durant and Westbrook I guess should have been expected. But a couple of those calls on Blake were ridiculous. The attempted steal by Blake called for a foul was bogus. The offensive foul when Blake used his left arm to guard off his defender was bogus! I mean, that's his patented dunk-on-somebody move. And I'm not so sure about one of those early defensive fouls on him.

It was rough.

And yeah, Ibaka's jab at BG's nuts should have been a flagrant 2. Didn't a dude last week get ejected for hitting another dude's midsection in a separate game? This was worse for goodness sakes. And I can't tell you how annoyed I am that it's Ibaka who acts all emotional at the end of the game, as if HE was the one treated unfairly.

Still, a couple of things disappointed me. First, DJ had a couple of opportunities to grab strong rebounds. He was in perfect position, the ball was there, but he seemed to have a case of the butterfingers. This was VERY early on and OKC was flirting with the idea of actually MISSING shots. So those missed boards were kinda big.

Secondly, the starting guards were terrible. Sure Paul picked it up in the second half...but it hardly mattered. A team like OKC needs to be taken out of their comfort zone early on. We can't let them blow us out in the first half. Fact is both Paul and Chauncey looked like crap in the entire first half. I've been easy on Chauncey, but what the heck man? Regular season games don't come much bigger than this and he goes 0-3?

Like I said, disappointing.

im sure if butler had been in the game there may have been a brawl. i think the clips need a brawl to show they arent going to back down from cheap shots

Shocked that nobody went after Ibaka after the game. When the final buzzer sounded I would have punched him in the fu**ing face.

I'm sick of Blake being scared of getting dunked on. There were a few times that a Thunder player drove to the rim and all Blake did was wave his arm or touch them. If he goes up to contest, he gets a swat. I know I'm not the only one that has noticed this right??

Also, Vinny's lack of confidence in DJ is going to keep DJ from making any progression in his game. I know this game was important and that you need the free throws, but I hope in the future DJ gets more playing time. We NEED his defensive presence because we have NO shot blockers out there.

Dude.. Blake was in foul trouble and couldn't afford to commit a foul (ended up fouling out anyways which is BS). It's other players like Odom, Barnes etc who should have stepped up.

Say what? Dude was already in foul trouble and you expect him to protect the basket? The way these officials were calling the game?

And don't even talk to me about DJ. He's not nearly the shot blocker he should be...even when he gets the playing time. And it's his own effing fault he's not out there. There is NO EXCUSE for his not hitting free throws. You look at BG and he at least seems like he's taken Bob Thate's instructions to heart. What's DJ doing? If he wants playing time, he needs to hit his damn free throws.

They try to be partial, but you'd think they both were being paid by the Lakers the way they fall all over them....will be glad when the Laker season is over and I hope it's mid April....

this is when you miss a player like kenyon martin or Reggie Evans. 1 of them would have put Ibaka on his ass, they would have also given a hard foul early in the game to make the Refs call a better game. Not saying i want them back just saying that was their nitch. I just seems to me VDN allows our team to play soft and lazy when we should be aggressive, put your body on players if your going to foul then foul. DJ should be taught to meet everybody at the damn rim jump straight up and put his nuts in their face ass he rejects the ball. We need to get alot more physical to get through the playoffs. Jcraw or EB should start because Billups just can't penetrate or cut at the moment which hurts us

I'm not just talking about this game!! He's always passive when it comes to contesting shots.

Today DJ was really messing up in the first half. He was fumbling the ball a lot.

DJ's teammates say he hits his freethrows in practice, so that means it's a game time issue with him. He needs to be out there so he gets use to the pressure. Can you say that being yanked out of a game for missing freethrows isn't a confidence killer?

When DJ is out there on defense, we don't get as many lay ups and dunks scored on us than when he's not out there. Today in the first half, stopping penetration was horrible though, but that was more of team collapse more than anything. He's a decent shot blocker, and defenses recognize this and turn to outside shots more.

Well the good news is everywhere I look, they're saying it was a deliberate low blow by Ibaka (which we already knew) and agree he should have been ejected. Like the ABC announcers said, this will no doubt be looked at by the league and they will be forced to do something about this...even though they would obviously prefer not to penalize OKC.

16 minutes for Deandre...........Are you kidding me. He should of at least been there to dish out some hard fouls to keep Blake out of foul trouble. But noooooo, 44% Odom and 37% Turiaf get more burn them him. Especially going up against a terrible player in Perkins, you gotta expose OKC's biggest weakness.

And Chauncey as of late has been an absolute liability at both ends. He can pass but his shot has been off since Houston, and he's been pretty bad on defense. What happened when we put Bledsoe in? Oh, we went on a big time run. He's small but he's an impact player, get him in the game.

I really liked Ibaka till he pulled that cheap shot. And then afterwards acted proud, seriously? Clippers weren't getting any love whatsoever from the refs. But the nba loves OKC, why? Because they're in a terrible market and if they start losing, they won't make any money off of them.

I'm not blaming Vinny for this game (pleeeeeenty of more significant reasons). But he's gotta stop being so strict with his rotations and give our 2 athletic defenders some more minutes (Bled/DJ). Other than that he did what he could under the circumstances.

Good effort by the guys though.

They have Blake defending the pick and roll too many times to be also defending the basket. Blake's done a fine job overall on D, so I don't think the criticism is warranted.

Meanwhile DJ is 3-15 on the FT line the last 5 games. I understand the concept of lacking confidence, but that is simply atrocious.
