See with the Grizzlies last year after all their trash talk during the season we got the ultimate payback. Beat their asses in the playoffs.... so it was easy to let go of their BS. I just hope we get a crack at OKC come playoff time because I have no doubt our guys are going to be extra fired up. I know for a fact Barnes is going to commit a flagrant foul.

Barnes and Artest are best buddies and the Lakers and OKC already hate each other. I would seriously feel so damn good if the Lakers not only win but start a fight and punk OKC.

Blake responds brilliantly. "From what I heard, I guess he's saying he was just trying to get his hand away from mine," Griffin said. "I actually didn't have his hand. He had my arm, so I don't know how it's going to be interpreted. It is surprising [he won't be suspended], but it is a big game tonight and I don't think they want one of their .. I really don't know. It's a big game." Griffin stopped short of saying the Thunder's game against the Lakers had something to do with Ibaka only getting a $25,000 fine instead of a suspension,....

@blakegriffin32 "Kid Blake: Who are you? Future Blake: you from the future... Don't listen to anything else I've told you just start wearing a cup."

LMAO!

Hey beating them would have been the best way to retaliate and we didn't. To me, that is bottom line although I agree wholeheartedly Ibaka should have been tossed and I'm annoyed te league agrees because it means he shouldn't have been out there when they regained lead

I didn't realise the NBA was so corrupt, how do they get away with it?

Yup. Some how I was thinking that after the corrupt Referee's of our game that the NBA would at least make it right by suspension of this clown to pretend they are not corrupt but I guess they couldnt since the game is on TNT tonight with big money invovled. What a joke!!!

Repped High Quality Post

If we got the calls the lakers get we easily beat okc. Can't use the excuse we don't attack enough. We attack just as much as the lakers.

Straight the f*** up! Crazy how they already have 27 FTA's at the half.

RefKC aka Whistlehoma City Thunder again get a shitload of bailout calls down the stretch to destroy the Lakers momentum after they cut it to 5 with 4 minutes left.

Kinda reminds me of the MWP/James Harden incident. If it was the other way around and MWP caught the elbow of Harden, it would have been nothing more than a regular T on Harden. OKC is the NBA's golden child and will get away with murder.

I haven't had a chance to comment on this...but not suspending Ibaka is absolutely ridiculous. It's like they're not even hiding their bias. I honestly think the Clippers being one of the best teams in the NBA has somehow ruined the league's "plans". They can't believe our team is great, so the officials' calls don't seem to benefit us AT ALL. How many times have we outscored teams in the paint? And how many times do we get to the FT line because of it? Yeah, I thought so!

And who knew Blake's balls were only worth $25,000?

By the way, if I were Blake, I'd want to make sure Ibaka gets a much closer look at my nuts the next time we play...when I dunk hard on his face!

Is anybody seriously surprised by this? OKC is Stern's team.

On a related note, I'm sick of Blake's goody goody act. Basketball is a man's sport. This crap goes on all the time. I don't care if you get suspended for a game or two, don't let these clown's punk you.

Exactly! Basketball aside, as a man, if somebody punches you in the nuts you gotta fight back!!! Clippers look soft when push comes to shove. Sundays incident would have been a perfect time to show the league that they're not gonna be bullied. Had Blake retaliated, the league would have been forced to suspend them both.

you sure about that?? i can assure you that blake would have been given a longer suspension that rick flai err ibaka.

We cant afford to have one of our two horses suspended for a long period of time, not with memphis breading down our throats.

^ thats why we have players who can do the dirty work. thats why reggie evans is not on the clips anymore. he didnt fill that role, like some on here like to pretend he did. barnes went after ibaka. im certain hollins, if he had been in the game would have done something crazy. i know griffin needs to start elbowing people, but it doesnt do the clippers any good if he is suspended for 3 games, cuz his punishment would have been significant. remember, the clips arent the okc thunder. we dont get any respect from the NBA

Speaking of sponsors. If Blake punched someone and his goody-goody image got tarnished he may lose a few mill.

I like you post but the thing that tears at my brain is,,if we are so hated and are meant to be a bottom feeder to meet the leagues need,,why in the hell did Stern give us the biggest break ever by basically giving us CP3 which in turn gave us this kick ass team? Was Stern high and thought he was backtracking and okaying an LAL deal and didn't see the last letter was changed to a C?

I agree we are ruining the league's plan,,but it's the leagues own fault. Guess they didn't think CP3 would have extended his contract for this and hopefully 5 more years.

I love all this tough talk.

Fact is, in the past, there have been times Blake has almost gone after guys. But a chop in the groin is not as easy to just jump up and go after a guy. Also, I kinda appreciate BG's ability to stay calm...in fact, his twitter response was about as perfect as it gets.

Don't like the fact that Ibaka wasn't suspended (politics and double-standard from the league) but hey, he helped them beat the Fakers last night, so that's almost a wash for me.

For the first time since the 06 Suns/Lakers series, I actually wanted to see the Lakers win. I'm so sick of the Princess treatment that OKC's been getting. The Lakers/Thunder game was a win/lose win/lose situation for me.

New Kia commercial:

Blake in the locker room.

Future Blake shows up...

Blake: "Who are... wait, I... you're me."

Blake + Future Blake: "From the future."

Blake: "..."

Future Blake: "Wear a cup tonight."

Blake: *looks down at groin*

Future Blake: "You'll thank me later."

Blake: *shrugs*

They upgraded the flagrant foul 1 to a flagrant foul 2 though... what a slap in the face.

i agree. but at the same time, griffin had a chance to hammer ibaka when he picked up his 6th foul, and he didnt. he instead allowed an and one at a crucial time of the game. if you are going to pick up a 6th foul, make it count, especially when thats the guy who had hit you in the balls a few minutes before.

He would've been fined and suspended probably. NBA favoritism for OKC.

I was at the game, and that it was a total cheap play that should have got him ejected. Anyways...my special nickname for Ibaka

Eye-KAKA

In fact, I kept yelling this at him.....

"keep your love hands to yourself..Eye-KAKA

and

"No more love grabs...EYE-KAKA"

as more people around me laughed then it just became...."EYE_KAKAKAKAKAKA"

screw that jerk

hope Matt Barnes frigggin trips him next time he drives, or steps on his nutts after he falls

Miami isn't favored NEARLY as much as RefKC or the Lakers. In fact, I think Indiana and Memphis are more favored than Miami because of the physicality they're allowed to play with and all the touch fouls called on their opponents.

Remember when Dwyane Wade got every call when Miami won their first title without Lebron?

Lebron still gets a lot of calls. I agree maybe not as much as the Lakers and OKC but still alot.

Agree that Memphis and Indiana are allowed to get away with a lot more then most teams.

Offensively Lebron gets too little calls actually. I have seen him get hacked all the time. If Durant got hacked in those situations it would be an instant 2 FTs. He does get away with being a bit too physical on defense though.

To me Durant is the new D Whistle except D Whistle at least earned his calls by driving to the basket over and over again.
