After reviewing the schedule of the top 3 teams. I did something scientific calculations and algorithms. And I have come to the conclusions that the final standings will be:

Clippers 60-22

Spurs 59-23

Thunder -58-24

That is all. bump this up in a few weeks.

I admire your optimisim, but not sure I agree with your analysis. I don't see us only losing 3 games the rest of the way, but I hope you're right.

Do you work for H and R Block? They talk like they can work miracles too. Nice sentiment, but I don't think I personally am going to buy into that right now.

There is on variable you cannot factor into your equations and that is David Stern. You have to talk to him to see who he wants to be number one. After Sunday and last night,,I have a suspicion who I think it will be.

He would make a great accountant.

When I was searching for my accountant, the interview process was me asking them what 2+2 is. Most of them said 4, but I picked the one that said "Whatever you want it to be."

Possible, just not probable. Clippers will be the 3rd seed in the west.

I use to not want the 3rd seed... Im ok with it now

I want the thunder to get the 1st seed

I think the grizz and especially the nuggets have a legit chance to knock the thunder out in rd 2

I think a series against the warriors will be good for us... and they move the ball alot which will be EXACTLY what the spurs will do in the 2nd rd

in my dreams I would love this order....

1- Spurs

2- Clippers

3- Grizz

4- Thunder

5- Denver

6- Warriors

7- Rockets

8- Utah

that would be nice

Funny thing is I am an accountant. True story.

This isnt just optimism.

I spent a lot of time analyzing this.

Clippers have not had any "bad" losses with CP3 since orlando lost.

"bad" loss I mean losing to a really weak team or losing to a beatable team at home.

they have had only a few "bad" losses with CP3 in the lineup all season.

Baring injuries of course we only have 2(maybe 3) tough games. (@denver, @Spurs, @rockets)

say we lose 2 max of those and he have one more "bad" loss.

we definitely have a light schedule.

Spurs losable games: (without Parker)

vs chicago

vs OKC

@minnesota

vs GSW

@rockets

Vs denver

vs clippers

vs Heat

@memphis

@OKC

@lakers

@gsw

OKC losable games:

@knicks

vs boston (boston always plays them tough)

@spurs (obviously mentioned above for spurs as losable but one team will get the L for sure)

vs denver

@memphis

vs spurs

@indiana

vs knicks

@GSW

Did you take into account how many of those tough games are on the second night of a back to back for all teams? Fatigue can play a big part in losses, especially when playing against weaker teams.

Let's at least get past tomorrows game in Denver. They've only lost 3 games at home and yes, they do look unstoppable at home beating us, Spurs, OKC, etc. at home. They ended our 17 game winning streak and we haven't been the same ever since. And our guys aren't used to the altitude. The Nuggets all but run their opponents to the brink of death at the Pepsi Center. Let's not worry about the standings. The Clippers just need to focus on consistency. We have plenty of playoff veterans on our team and they will all show up in the playoffs. It's not the end of the world if the Clippers win less than 60 games or miss out on the top seed.

Tomorrows game at Denver is the toughest remaining game. I hope we win but that is already a loss in my mind. A win can only help my prediction.

Being realistic is now somehow being spoiled and entitled? The chances of getting the number one seed are pretty much nil, simply because the Spurs keep winning. End of story.

Not entitled just stating what I believe. Standings are set when team finish 82 games not 62. Schedule are relatively equal at the 82 game mark, no so much at the 62 game mark. There are so many variances as this point.

It seems to me that people on here just assume that these two teams are better than us? They are not.

We are 2-1 against the spurs

1-1 against the heat

0-3 against OKC (two could have easily gone our way)

None of these teams are that better than us.

We loose our MVP Candidate for however many games we did of course were going to struggle even when he gets back because he has been gone for so long.

We are primed and ready for another long streak and perfect timing to do it, this is the time to peak.

this is not crazy but Grizzlies would have to step it up. Utah is in a free fall so the Lakers will be in at the 8th spot. Spurs vs OKC in the second round would be awesome, that way we dont have to face BOTH.

Agreed. We just need to focus on continuing to grow as a team, and getting better in some of the areas that have proven to be weak points for us in the past. Our guys still haven't had a lot of time together so there's still a ton that they can improve on in terms of on-court chemistry.

I personally would really like to see us hit 60 wins just for the sake of the Clippers having a 60 win season (we had a 60 loss season not too long ago) but getting caught up in regular season success often leads to a loss of focus on what is really important, and that's winning a championship. That's our goal (or at least I hope it is). Getting the top seed we definitely help in us getting there but I don't think that's where our heads should be at.

Spurs

Currently -4.5

Goal 0

we would get tie breaker if we win Vs spurs our last game with them or even if we lose as long as we have a better conference record. we are -1 on conference record but if we gain that many games we'll have a better conference record.

OKC

currently -1.5

goal +1

this will updated daily.

It is not that I think they are better than us, I think we are around the same, but due to injuries and others they happen to be ahead of us and I don't think we will catch them. I am not saying we are worse, but we just won't catch them and that is fine.

I'm still debating between 1 and 2 and 6 and 7. Spurs got easier schedule I think cause more home games but Parker hurt. GSW has a heavy home schedule remaining but against tougher teams.

^ Yeah, I'd even go as far as the 6, 7 and 8 being debatable... but it does look like the f***** lackers will manage to squeeze in.

Still... maybe them playing SAS or OKC will help us... Mental World Artest might take out a player for us.

Dubs are soft... pretty good matchup if we can stop those cocky bastards raining on us.

I'm confident we would beat GSW or Houston. But lakers will overtake the jazz. They have too hard of a schedule.
