I agree. I'm tired of the results. What people say on this board doesn't have power over me like it does for Oregon. No need to resort to calling people douchebags.

Our next big game against Memphis at home next Wednesday. We have to win that one.

You're right. I'm totally trolling by being angry after another bad loss. I guess I should just celebrate that we're not a trainwreck lottery team, then? Nice to know we have high standards as a fanbase. roll

I thought we weren't going to be the same old Clippers anymore when we got CP3.... why are people still clinging so stubbornly to that mindset?

i dont care about these guys i'd love to play them in the playoffs but the warriors are the team i don't wanna play which it looks like we will be playing them in the first round. i really think they might pull the upset and beat us since clippers cant guard the perimeter at all. clippers make crappy three point shooting teams looking amazing imagine how they will make the three point shooting warriors. curry, clay, and jack are going to eat us alive.

I said it once and I'll say it again, you bring nothing significant/positive to this board. When the Clippers win, you disappear. When the Clippers lose, its the exact opposite.

Really? And I assume you're just going to pretend he didn't almost bring us all the way back into the game until your boy benched him for absolutely no reason?

lmao. in your mind you probably think cp3 can play the whole second half with no rest and keep up with lawson. smh. he benched him for a minute and a half. the lead for the nuggets only went up 2 points during that time. yet that is what ruined the clippers tonight in your mind. smh. again, the guys ran out of gas and not having their best weapon off the bench really hurt us. even 13 pts from crawford would have been more than the 4 pts green and hill combined for.

It's pointless talking to this fool, dude. I've given up.

the thing is 82-0, it is not the truth. be honest and realize that you do nitpick to support your arguments against vdn. im not the only who sees it. a lot of people on here do too. even when we win with an adjustment vdn implements, you find a way to turn that into a diatribe about how vdn is ruining this team.

He was on fire when he was benched. Vinny should have waited for him to cool off before benching him, instead of GUARANTEEING that he'd cool off.

I don't always agree with you but you are spot on here. He had only played 3 mins in the 4th and was on fire. we had just cut it to 8. Why would you take him out and put in such an offensively challenged line up bledsoe, willie green, butler, odom and hill? yea they didnt let the lead get out of hand but they dint capitalize on all the missed shots by denver during those 2.5 mins.

Oh well. bottom line this was a game no one expected us to win. I always think they can and i get pissed when we lose regardless but the reality of it is, denver has only lost 3 games at home all season for a reason.

On to the next one!

People criticize some of us being like Lakers fans and getting very pissed over losses, not making as big of a deal with wins but that's just the transformation to being a fan of a winning team. Of course we are going to act more sensitive about losses. They are no longer expected and in a majority of cases with our team can be looked at as unacceptable. No other team in the NBA shoots themselves in the foot as much as we do (at least top team). I mean crap like 16 turnovers in the first half? When was the last time you head of that?

Or giving up 10 made 3's in the first half etc. I mean we do a lot of crap that's ridiculous and we REPEAT it. My personally problem with the team isn't the issue itself. It's that we repeat these issues without any correction until it starts biting us in the ass.

Fans that have high expectations for their teams feel worse when they lose than they feel good when they win. It's like this: "When we win. So what? Keep winning. When we lose. GODDAMN IT."

Oregon just put him on ignore. You continuing to call people douchebags and dipshit etc will most likely get you banned much faster than somebody being negative or annoying in a game thread (not my opinion of him necessarily, just what you're saying).

Yup! Losses also linger way longer than wins. Which before it was the opposite for me when we sucked. Back then I held onto the big wins on national TV and conveniently brushed the ass kickings under the rug.

This...big time.

I feel like I'm reading a lot of negativity here. We know we haven't played our best basketball of late, yet we've still been solid. Yet we know we are capable of playing great basketball. We've had, like, 3 or 4 opposing coaches talk about how awesome our team was while we were on our roll. And, by the way, the Spurs have only lost 3 times at home...and one of them was to us.

My point is I think we can pick it up again. I don't think Paul's been quite the same since the All Star break, but we know he will be ready for the playoffs. I'm hopeful Chauncey will be too. The playoffs used to be HIS time! I know Jamal can't wait. And I can't wait to see what a healthy BG will do in the post season. Of course, it's preferable if we can close out the regular season in strong fashion.

On a side note, can I just give BG some props. I know he made some bonehead plays late in tonight's game, but let's face it, he was probably trying to do too much considering we were way behind by then. I just wanna say he's really been our rock these last few weeks. I guess you can say that about the whole season, but I think he's stepped up his game lately.

I'm going to keep talking about the game, which - by the way, moron - includes and is affected by coaching decisions. If you don't want to accept that, and want to keep calling me a "douchebag" and a "troll" completely unprovoked, it's whatever. I'm not up for that kind of childish bullshit. And if you really think people should be banned for criticizing the team, then you're just a blind homer.

Next week will play out as such:

Win against Detroit - "We can really make a run for the title"

Loss against Memphis - "Fire Vinny, he's the reason my parents are divorced"

Win against New York - "Oh boy, we are cookin' now NBA Championship here we come"

It will never change. Us fans flip flop more than the entire Thunder team.

Damn it, it was only a 3-game series against the Nuggets this season so we don't have the chance to avenge our loss. We only got them once at home. I guess that made up for getting the Thunder at home twice while only once on the road, which didn't exactly pay off for us.

Long time fans of terrible team that is suddenly contending. This is normal behavior quite frankly. Once we get used to winning for a few years people including me will settle down. For now it's a crazy, unhealthy roller coaster ride.

Not according to some people on here. When we win, it's time to plan the championship parade and make Vinny Coach of the Year, and when we lose, we're all supposed to celebrate not being a perennial lottery team anymore. And anyone who gets frustrated with losing games in the exact same boneheaded fashion over and over again is somehow a troll.

I'll give laker fans some props for at least sticking by their team... those guys actually think they can still make a noise in the playoffs.

Here's the Clippers in the midst of their best season ever and some fans are giving up on them.

We may not be at our best at this exact moment, but does this game count in the postseason?

F*ck the haters... I'm riding with my team through April, May, and hopefully June... and I'll be here next year, too.

yeah im sure they have weak psyches by being in 3rd place in the west, with a 44-20 record. smh. aside from okc, the clippers have beaten down each team we may see in the playoffs at least once. so idk if your argument is valid

It's not even worth arguing with him. He literally cannot grasp that fans could actually be angry about losing games in the exact same fashion over and over again.

I'll never understand why some people take the concept of being a fan so literally that they lose all objectivity.

It's about context. Sure, we beat the Heat and Spurs early on in the season, but neither of those teams really give a crap in November. Now that we're closer to the playoffs and the elite teams in the league are taking it up a notch, this team suddenly can't hang anymore. That's a major cause for concern.

It's also about time. If we were getting beaten down like this by good teams in November, that'd be one thing, but for this to be happening now, so close to the playoffs, is potentially catastrophic to the team's morale and confidence.

Bull I know we beat these teams earlier but recently they are crushing us. I'm just worried we peaked too early. I'd also like to know from Hornets fans if CP3 ever disappeared this much in big games because it worries me a lot.

Well luckily we still have more games against playoff teams. We need to win those then we can forget about these recent bad losses. Just like how everyone puts no meaning to November and December games.

We play Memphis twice, spurs, rockets. Need to win those.

Warriors went 3-1 against us with two blowouts. OKC swept us 3-0. Denver beat us 2-1 with two blowout wins. These teams all know they can whoop us probably.

Damn what a beatdown. Ty Lawson was just incredible hitting virtually all his jumpers which you have to kind of give it to him because of his blazing speed. Guys were playing pretty well- I mean it was 61-60 and then we stopped going to Blake inside and kept missing jumpers, leading to transition open jumpers and layups by Denver. They got separation and we couldn't really get within 9 after that.

Jamal couldn't play but nobody really stepped up for him other than Barnes. And even Barnes was pretty cold in the second half. Caron was terrible, Chauncey was subpar, and Willie only made one jumper if I remember right. And after everyone started bricking outside, Denver was free to come with aggressive doubles on Blake which caused more havoc. With Denver, we better shoot well from the outside, or else long rebounds will just kill us.

It's a bad loss, granted. The team is in a slump right now... no disagreement from me. But championships are not won in March.

In a vacuum, I'd be pissed about tonight's performance too, but what I'm seeing is Blake starting to develop into the post beast that everyone's been calling for and DJ starting to make the right defensive plays... ignore the numbers, he did pretty much everything right tonight.

If Chris Paul had been playoff Chris Paul, we'd have performed a lot better.

I guess I'm just sick of hearing how bad we suck on our own fan site... and there are one or two posters that post that sh*t 2-300 times per week.

"Realism" is one thing, but when we get the same old hating bullshit ALL THE TIME, even when we win, it makes me want to stop coming to this site.

Warriors know they can beat us but they are playing badly recently. Those losses in November through January might not matter. Just like people say we peaked too early, so did the warriors when they beat us earlier. Need to be consistent with arguments. If we're a different team now, same argument can be made about the warriors.

In other words, we still have time to get better. There's 18 games left but if we can peak then, that would be most important.
