They compare CP3 VS Tony Parker Blake Griffin Vs Carmelo Anthony http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/5-on-5-130314/nba-experts-take-the ir-picks-league-superstars 1. Better 2012-13 season: Chris Paul or Tony Parker? D.J. Foster, ClipperBlog: Chris Paul. Who works with a higher degree of difficulty? Parker gets to play in Gregg Popovich's tried and true offensive system, but Paul is the system in Los Angeles. Yes, Parker has been a much better scorer, but Paul still has him beat in nearly every other statistical category. Israel Gutierrez, ESPN.com: Tony Parker. It's difficult to pick against Paul, especially considering how he's averaging nearly two assists and two steals better than Parker, but the Spurs' point guard has....

Love that comment about Parker guiding a "less talented" team to a better record. Clippers maybe have the more athletic team, but Spurs have the best overall talent. Nice try Gutierrez, LOL.

Plus he said Parker was significantly more efficient offensively. What a dolt.....Gutierrz loves swimming up stream. Razz

It's STILL Paul IMO and this is one of Parker's best seasons:

I'm pleasantly surprised with the views on Griffin. I mean, I share them, but I didn't think anyone on ESPN did. lol

Gutierrez has been a Clipper hater all season, so he's no surprise.

Who cares? We're not winning games that matter.

Agree, but we need to start playing better. Hard to turn the on/off switch only in the playoffs.

Spurs have less talent lmfao? Some serious idiots out there. Tony Parker would be nothing special without Pop helping him develop all these years and being a beneficiary in his system with nice complementary players. They have so many good shooters its actually pathetic that TP averages so few assists. They have the best coaching in the league, great screen setters to free TP up, great shooters to punish teams that double him, etc. TP is in the better environment and its not even debatable.

  1. Paul by a lot.

  2. Harden by a little bit. Leading his team to a better record.

  3. Wade by a lot(WB is far less efficient scoring wise and is an inferior defender, he slacks too much on D and gambles too much)

  4. Griffin by a little bit. (surprised these guys aren't overrating Melo)

  5. Lebron by a lot.
