Great read. Basically in crunch time we are the 2nd best offense but an ATROCIOUS defense to the point of being ranked 18th overall in the clutch. No team has ever won a title that was out of the top 10 I believe.

Interesting read. I didn't realize we were 2nd best offense in crunch time considering our half court offense struggles. But I can definitely believe us being 18th defensively. Too many open 3's.

I was looking at crunch time numbers last night and saw that the Clippers were 2nd in FG% to Miami in the last 5 minutes of the game, but were far below when it came to point differential in the last 5 minutes. I immediately knew it was due to poor crunch time defense, can't stop anyone.

Actually it's not 18th ranked defensively Hawaii. It's 29th ranked defense in crunchtime and 18th overall rank which is atrocious. Also we are the only playoff team besides the Celtics that has a negative overall rating in the clutch.

Oh another interesting fact in this article. The lineup of Paul, Crawford, Barnes, Griffin and Odom is nearly the best in the NBA all year long. Funny enough this is the lineup that many of us have wanted often times. Sure the bench will suffer a little bit but it's more important for the starters to carry more of the load and get us going early, with great momentum than it is for the bench to carry the weight.

That is my favourite line up.

I hear a lot of the commentators going on about the depth of our bench but that is partly because some of our bench players are better than some of our starters. I suppose it is a question of balance. Because of course Manu and OKC Harden came off the bench.

Wow that's ridiculously bad. Other then 3 point defense, our defense isn't near the bottom overall so pretty much our defense chokes under pressure.

2nd in offensive is impressive, but defense wins championships.

That's my favorite lineup also.
