OK, if you have never heard of George Hill, join the club. Because he played for IUPUI, he hasn't been on the radar of very many mock drafts in the second round. He is off the radar because he played for a team that doesn't get much coverage. But the Clips are going to work him out Monday. Why? Well he average 22PPG, 7 RPG, 4 APG, and 2 steals, while hitting 55% from the floor and 45% from the 3. With those stats one might wonder why he isn't a first rounder. Only centers who dunk a lot shoot 55%, not guys shooting from the outside. He is kind of a combo guard with average athletic ability which puts him the second round. The Clips could take him because he seems to be a unbelievable shooter.

I like him- not only the terrific shooting but good rebounding #'s for a guard also. Even though he's 6'2" his wingspan is 6'9", and he is very athletic also with vertical leaps of 34" (no step) and 37" (max).

I wouldn't be surprised if they pick him in the second round, if he is still available. I saw one draft that had him going very late in the first round. Also, it seems odd that they are bringing him in 3 days before the draft for a last minute look.

^^Yeah just in case he falls to our lap. If he's gone I like JR Giddens or Kyle Weaver or a big power guy like Richard Hendrix or Joey Dorsey. DeMarcus Nelson, a Dukie, sounds interesting as well.

For those who were excited about our chances of getting George Hill in the second round might be disappointed that the Lakers are trying to trade for the rights to the Seattle 2nd round pick at 32 so they can take George. The Clips do not pick until 35. Courtney Lee or Billy Walker would be nice consolation prizes if George is gone. Some Mock Drafts have George gone late in the first round.
