Thibs is a HELL OF A COACH. Shorthanded as hell and the Bulls end the streak of the Heat tonight with fantastic defense all night.

Yep the only con is that he literally runs his players to the ground.

Better than Vinny regularly playing Blake and CP3 30 minutes even in close games we need to win. We have a young core... we need to be pushed harder. I'm pulling for SVG who will also run our guys to the limits.

Me too would love SVG. Not sure if there is any other coach that is available that is better.

I honestly think the Heat would have won if Lebron wasn't benched so long. He is a bull(no pun intended). He can play 40+ minutes easily.

Grizz lose, Heat end streak, all we need is for the Spurs to win and it is a really good night for the Clipper Nation.

Dam Spurs, Rockets back to back. Not cool. Then we face the Pacers!

It will be hard to keep that number 3 seed.

That's why the Dallas loss is so bad and may bite us in the ass.

That was arguably the worst loss of the season. Made me so angry. If we can get 3rd seed we will be in a good position. If we get 4th we will likely beat the Grizzlies but they are no joke. I think people here underestimate them since we beat them last time. I think we will win again but this is not a good first round matchup. Its a tough and gritty one that we should avoid if possible.

I know, me also. I don't think I'll ever forget that robbing. That would have been a legendary highlight.

That was so much better. We were hot again from deep, but then were mindful to keep moving on offense, cutting and posting up. The defense overall was very solid as well. Guys closing out to shooters quickly for the most part. Offensive rebounding was HUGE- we had quite a few second chance shots at key junctures of the game.

CP3- an excellent game on both ends. His steals down the stretch just killed any hopes of the Hornets coming back. Blake had a much more effective game. Perfect example was midway through the 4th- he caught the ball on the side of the key and just backed down inside against Anderson and made an easy baby hook. DJ another nice game with good aggression and activity. Too bad Chauncey got hurt again- he hit some big 3's to help give the team that double digit lead going into half time. Jamal shot much better tonight, and Lamar played pretty solid D. Overall just a sweet bounce-back effort by everyone.

And it was good to see Eric Gordon again. He did well but thankfully missed his 3's, or it could have been very scary down the stretch.

I'm not so sure about that philosophy. This a very deep team, and guys need the minutes to stay sharp and happy. And if you play the stars too many minutes, you run more risk of them getting injured. I'm actually glad that CP3 and Blake haven't had to play as many minutes as in the past. I don't think the slight reduction in minutes cut into their effectiveness.

Back-to-back against a streaking young team less than 24 hours after a tough OT loss. I'm proud of the effort.

The basketball gods were with us. We had a lot of bounces go our way... total opposite of last night. Our 3-point defense was OK, but I actually thought it was much better last night. They also got a lot of second chances from offensive rebounds, but I can't be too mad because of the B2B.

Once again, great effort for a road game. We won this with sheer will. Good sign of things to come.

LOL you sound like you expect DJ to stop everything. Er... nobody in the NBA can stop all the shots from going in for goodness sake. As long as the effort is there, I have no problem with DeAndre Jordan. He's been playing well lately. That play where he outran Lopez down the court to catch the lob for a dunk was IMPRESSIVE.

7 and 11 vs 13 and 8 from Lopez- not bad at all. +12 vs -8 in the +/- too vs Lopez.

What DJ needs to improve the most is his free throw shooting- that way he can play down the stretch more. I do like how at least VDN is putting him with the second unit for couple minutes lately.

Great night, not just because of our win, but Denver and Memphis losses. Big game for us Friday. I can't believe it's not going to be televised nationally...but then again, maybe that's a good thing!

Agreed, he has been getting loads of offensive boards which is great. Second chance pts make a lot of difference in that it can be quite deflating for the opposing team.

1 Too Hip's SIQUE Player of the Game -- Ryan Hollins. He didn't foul out and he hit FT's. I think we have our bench center. I'm glad VDN let him play. DJ was a MF again as he's becoming. Eleven quiet boards.

2 Sick player Lamar Odom. Lamar how's your Mandarin and does Kloe (sp) like Chinese food because that's where you'll be living next year.

Tonight I'm going to get a bottle of Thunderbird in a brown paper bag and go to Venice beach and celebrate. Memphis and Denver lose and miami loses. WE WIN. BG was a beast, LAL wins - SO WHAT

I watched the replay offensive (meaning the call offended me) foul. The ref porked us. If that was a foul then I'll get a key to the Spirit's locker room. I semi-never complain about calls.

Why was our bench strategy Give the ball to JC. Then there was give the ball to JC----. Where was Bledsoe? (as far as scoring)

Keep Billups out till PO's or very limited minutes.

Kudos to Willie Guns

We should have blown them out

I think Chaunceys done with the Clippers. I love the guy, but get him off of the team and put him in a coaching position. We need someone at the 2 that is more durable and young. This should be our primary area of concern during the draft and free agency.

When we look at the upcoming schedule Houston, Spurs, Indiana most likely 2 out of those 3 will be losses, so it makes those losses against the non playoff teams like Sacramento, and Dallas aggravating. We put ourselves in an unnecessary position yet again. In fact, the past two times we have regained the third spot was only due to the Nuggets facing teams like the Spurs and losing, we are not going to be so fortunate all the time. Aside from Chris Paul im not seeing the same sense of urgency from the rest of the squad. Our team should be taking care of business and not placing their fate in the hands of other teams

now we need to feed him the ball in the post like a good 5 times a game, just to put more pressure on the opposing defense. This will help mix things up and help our offense NOT be so predictable.

  1. I don't know why you would think that, since we've already beaten ALL of those teams.

  2. That's the way it works. If teams above us win ALL their games, we can't make up ground. I actually think it's pretty impressive that we're still in 3rd after a 15-game win streak from Denver.

And we hold the tiebreaker over both (we're the only ones leading our division), so they have to finish with a better record to climb above us.

I'm little more optimistic. I think we'll win 2 out of 3. And maybe one of them is the Spurs. If the Clips win at the Spurs again, then I have a good feeling about playoff Smile.

U know I just watched the Laker game, and NBA is so damn rigged, Blake fouls no one and he gets called, while Kobe smacks Rubio, and nothing's called. BULLSHT! And yes I haven't gotten over the Mavs game.

Lol Kobe doesn't need to play defense when he just blatantly hacks someone with no call. If Rubio hit all 3 Fts it would have been a tie game. Such bogus.

That's what I'm saying. CP3 is the All-Star MVP why doesn't he get preferencial treatement? POS refs. Was Dirk even an AllStar getting all those bogus calls?

CP3 does get preferential treatment. It would be a lie to say he does not. Dirk also gets preferential treatment but its to be expected. He is an MVP and FMVP even if he is no longer in his prime.

The problem is our team in general gets jobbed on calls. Only CP3 gets favorable calls. I think the refs just hate us and it doesn't help that our players whine about calls too much. It just makes things worse to be honest.

^ That, I agree with. Gotta take the law into our own hands and develop a reputation as a team that gives as good as we get in terms of hard play and gamesmanship. Whining to the officials won't help our cause.

Dirk flops? well, we've got an Academy-award nominee in CP3. Ibaka nut-punches Blake? Have Barnes slide under him on a rebound and take out a f***** ankle, or better still, do it to the stick-insect.

Like Vinny's said numerous times... it's time to toughen up.

Blake rarely gets any calls. And Jamal gets hand checked on EVERY drive. Same calls the Durant gets, he does not get.

Some biased sentiments here on Kobe. Yes that hack on Rubio was a blatant foul no doubt and he got away with it cuz he's Kobe, but those who've been watching enough Lakers games this season should know that Kobe actually doesn't get the kinds of calls he's used to when he's attacking. I've seen plenty of no-calls and A LOT of Kobe gesturing to refs (and not getting T'd up). If anything KD is now the one getting those kinds of treatments, though I have noticed in the last few OKC games I've watched, the refs are not as whistle-happy with KD as they were earlier in the season. I guess enough teams complained about the KD treatment? I hope the refs get the memo for the playoffs, good thing is that usually the refs let defenders actually play defense in the playoffs, b/c the KD thing was getting out of hand midway through the season.

CP3 gets away with plenty, but b/c he has a reputation for being a flopper, refs don't blow the whistle on every hand check and sometimes guards are literally drapped all over him and yet no calls... just goes with the territory of that reputation I suppose. Jamal is DEFINITELY not getting the calls he should, I don't know why. From what I've seen just this season, he's not a complainer and yes sometimes he kicks out that leg and falls down on his 3s (less so the last couple months), but other than that he's not a known flopper. And he gets checked a lot when driving. Maybe he needs to sell it more, I don't know, but clearly if anyone's getting shafted on our team with the refs, it's Jamal and obviously Blake as well.
