We were getting calls going our way in the 1st half and then we didn't get them in the 2nd half.

It balanced itself out.we can't rely on refs to make the calls and not make the missed calls. We lost by 1, we did have control of that game.

I'm more incline to believe that we would've won the game with made free throws, less turnovers and better player management before I am to think we lost this game at the hands of the officials.

It's never going to be fair, they're never going to get it 100% right.

I'm better off not holding my breath.

A voice of reason.

Actually, we were getting calls right up until Popovich and Duncan screamed in the refs' faces.

I wonder what'll happen when Vinny and the Clips try that wink

And I rather get calls in the end then beginning. There's still time to adjust or make up for them early on but not getting calls in the end are more devastating and nothing you can do about them.

Except I am not just talking about the Lakers. Im addressing Bullterriers point that all his so called darling teams get all the calls. (Spurs, Heat, OKC, Thunder).

Oh and if you really analyze the Lakers since 2007-2008 you would know why they get so many foul calls.

Kobe Bryant (Superstar and a savvy veteran who knows to draw the foul)

Pau Gasol (7 footer, super skilled able to draw the foul)

Andrew Bynum and Dwight Howard (too big and strong to stop in the post so opposition resorted to fouling)

That isn't a very good breakdown but if you actually analyze the team composition you learn a lot more about statistics.

By the way, if the Lakers have been the darling for so long, how come they only started getting foul calls in 2007-2008? Yellow_Flash_Colorz_PDT_19

Well I never said they always got calls but in the recent 5 years they definitely have been. To me Blake and cp3 know how to draw fouls. It's just that they rarely make calls for Blake when he's getting pushed around. In other words they allow alot more against him. Gasol is known for flopping so if that gets calls then that's bul crap. Blake is stronger then most power forwards he's playing against so can't use the Bynum Howard reasons.

If anyone only cp3 gets fair share of calls. But he definitely doesn't get as many as Kobe and Durant. It's understood by everyone that stars get more calls in general. But we can't say the same about Blake. Brother, when my laker friends are saying we don't get as much respect with refs compared to alot of the top teams, that says something. We always are arguing about our teams but that's one we agreed upon and observed. Of course they could care less and don't feel bad for me since we all want to see each other lose.

We also agreed that world peace (I hate) and Barnes get shafted by refs because of their reputations. Shafted meaning alot of cheap fouls called on them compared to others. But overall my laker friends usually aren't mad at the refs for losses. They always blame mike dantoni and the injuries this junk season.

Seriously? they ONLY started getting foul calls in 2007-2008? Did you forget the 2002 Western Conference Finals when the Lakers shot 27 FT's in the 4th Qtr alone!!!

In case you didn't know 2002 is before 2007-2008 so you are wrong, they've been calls way before that time. I'm trying to figure out why you are even defending the refs so much, you related to Bob Delaney or Tim Donaghy?

Post all the links you want and write as many pointless paragraphs as you want but you can't beat the evidence I just provided..

^nice links. It would make total sense though of why the refs like the lakers. The nba is a business so having the lakers relevant and good means more money and popularity for the nba.

Thanks for being honest purple and gold. Overall you've been a pretty reasonable laker fan. There's too many out there that are unreasonable and irrational.

Also why the fu** did Bledsoe play 14 minutes last night when he was killing the Spurs? Another baffling thing I can't wrap my head around. Bledsoe changed the game.

Are you dense? Seriously? Lobcity made an argument that the Lakers have been tops in FTA diff since 2007-2008. I was addressing that. Since you fail at reading comprehension its no surprise your argument is so erroneous.

Lets look at the FTA head to head for that series shall we?

GAME 1- SAC 22 Lakers 17

GAME 2- SAC 38 Lakers 25

GAME 3- SAC 35 Lakers 15

GAME 4- SAC 26 Lakers 27

GAME 5-SAC 33 Lakers 23

GAME 6-SAC 25 Lakers 40

GAME 7- SAC 30 Lakers 33

The fix must also have been in game 2 and 3 huh? lol

No problem, I just wish all Laker fans kept it real like you!

That would be something special wouldn't it? Don't worry, I'm sure most of those fans will disappear once my lakers go into rebuilding mode. But sadly, those fans will probably reappear once the lakers assemble a contending team.
