They play GS, San Antonio and Houston to end the season. Utah plays Minny, Minny and Memphis. Utah is currently 1 game back of the Lakers.

I really hope they miss the playoffs, and considering the injuries Utah has had to deal with they probably would be IN the playoffs had those injuries not happened. Lakers should probably be a top 4 team given the talent of that team but they aren't. I really hope the Lakers miss the playoffs, even if they get in I can't see them taking out the Spurs or Thunder in the first round. And even if they do, it's not a shocker given the fact they have an entire starting lineup of All Stars and 3, maybe 4 hall of famers as well.

So if Utah goes 2-1, Flakers need to go at least 2-1 to sneak in, right?

Yes, that is correct. Yesterday's Portland win for the Lakers was huge.

My prediction is the Lakers will make the playoffs. All 3 Laker games are at home. Golden State will be coming off a b2b so they will be tired. The Spurs will probably rest players. Houston might beat the Lakers but it is on the last day of regular season, so if they are already locked a seed, they might rest players also.

Jazz could go 3-0, Minnesota isn't very good and they play them twice. They could easily take those 2 games putting immense pressure on the Lakers.

As much as I hate the Lakers and can't stand Kobe, this is not how I wanted to see Kobe end the season. I'm a Clippers fan and an NBA fan so, best of luck to Kobe's recovery. My Clippers fan side hates him, but my NBA fan's side wants to see Kobe come back and ball it up a few more years before he retires.

i dont wish injury on anyone. but its hard to fathom how the flakers can make the playoffs with kobe out. unless the spurs and rockets take it easy on them, utah will make it. cant count out the refs. it will be time for them to step up. lol. (laughing at the bs help the flakers get, not kobe's injury)

^Ha the refs are already on their game, given the calls they made for the Lakers against the Dubs last night...

They will make the playoffs. Houston SHOULD beat them on Wednesday since they are clearly the better team, but I doubt it will happen.
